Derrick’s Pov
I sat at our usual joint, puffing out smoke from my cigarette. I stared at where Rosa and I normally come to.
I knew I never loved her at first. I just played with her feelings, but then the love grew, but when Rosa found out, she was so mad at me,and I did something bad,it’s a secret though. That was what made her to hate me more. But then, James came along the line and she chose him over me.
I must admit I was wrong but h.ell no, she had no right to choose him over me, just because he was stinkly rich.
You guys might be wandering how I made my money. Well after I took her child, I got into a dirty business and a d.rug lord took me in. I was so loyal to him and he loved me more, putting me in charge of everything. But to cut the long story short, I killed him and took over everything. That was how I became stinkly rich.
I turned and saw Rosa approaching and a smile crept on my face.
Look whom we ave here, isn’t it the dev!l himsel. She said as she got to where I was.
Any name you call me baby, is okay. I said getting on her nerves.
You b@stard, what do you want from me? She yelled.
I want you. I simply stated.
You will never have me.She said.
Rosa am giving you the opportunity to come to me I said.
Over my dead body, I would never ever come to you, every memory of you are filled with pains and regret. I blame myself, you caused me nothing but pains and this should be the last time we ever cross path because am gonna lock you up. She said.
Rosa come to me and save your family from pains. I said.
You won’t succeed this time, am done with you. You are the worst mistake that has ever happened to me and don’t ever call me again. You are a m0nster. She said and stormed away angrily.
I smiled as I watch her drive away. Am not done yet, am gonna hit her so hard that she’s gonna beg for mercy.
A month later.
Mara’s Pov
I stared at my reflection in the mirror. I was satisfied with my looks so I walked out of the house.
It’s been a month already, a month since the incident happened. Mabel’s mom had been begging since then, but my heart was as cold as ice. I didn’t ever want to forgive them, they said I own a part of the school but am not taking anything. They should go to h.ell for all I care.
Jay had been trying to convince me but h.ell no, we had many misunderstanding because of it, but love conquer, I never thought I would be this happy in my life. Mabel and I hadn’t cross path since the incident. She and Danny had always been together, same with Charles and Anna. Ara was the only single amongst us, I can’t wait to get to school. Suddenly, someone drew my arms, I turned and it was Jay. Did you really have to do that? I half yelled.
I have been calling your name for the past few minutes and you haven’t been answering me. Like what the k is wrong with you, he yelled at me.
Am sorry I said as realized I was wrong, but he stormed out.
Jay am really sorry I said as I ran after him. The maids looked at me someho, well he got up to 20 maids, he said he doesn’t want me to do any work. Jay, I apologise I said holding his arms.
That’s what you always do, apologize, like seriously what have I not done for you, where have I gone wrong? You are beginning to get on my nerves with this character of yours. He said.
So am getting on your nerves right, I apologized and since you don’t want it, go fk yourself I don’t fking care I yelled at him.
I could see him boiling in anger but he controlled himself and drove off.
Fk, I cu.rsed as I stormed inside the house to get the car keys since he already got one for me.
I rode cr@zily to school, immediately I stepped out, everyone turned to my direction.

? She’s indeed lucky I heard them said, but I ignored them all.
I walked inside the class and I saw Jay and dad wasn’t in school ye. I walked towards Anna and sat beside her.
Wow babe thank goodness you resume quickly. I almost died of loneliness and she said smiling stupidly. I knew that smile wasn’t for me.
Chatting with Charles I asked and she nodded.
I raised my head as I heard noise coming from outside. I knew instantly they arrive. Am not gonna apologize, Jay is gonna apologize first.
They both walked into the class, looking so cute as ever, they walked to where I was greeted Anna and clearly avoided me.
What’s wrong? Anna asked.
I don’t know I said as I tried to fight back the tears that were threatening to fall from my eyes.
It was already break time. Jay and Dan already left for their office. I walked together with Anna and Ara to the cafeteria, it seems Ara was having a crush on a guy she met at the mall.
I wasn’t listening to their conversation.
Mara are you sure you are okay Ara asked.
Am perfectly fine I said as I sat down and signalled them to bring our lunch.
We were eating silently when I heard noises as Mabel and her crew walked in.
So whom do we have here Alvira said mockingly.
Mabel’s sister of course. Elsa said.
Please, the last time I check I didn’t have a sibling not to talk of having a sister. Mabel said.
Are you guys trying to get on my nerves Ara said angrily.
I stood up quitely picked up my pasta and wine and poured it on Alvira face. I really don’t know why I resisted the urge not to do it to Mabel.
How dare you Mab yelled.
You should be thankful I didn’t design your face, little sis I said smiling.
Am not your sister she said burning in rage.
Of course you are my little sister and to Alvira, you are so beautiful I said and walked out and everyone burst into laughter.
