Mara’s Pov
I watched as Jay kssed her I had just woken up from sleep I was bored and decided to look out of the window and I saw everything that happened. The idi0t is forcing herself on him, am gonna put that btch where she truly belongs.
Hours later.
A knock on the door, made me wake up from my deep slumber, I could see it was raining because the weather was d@mn cold, I don’t know how many hours I have been here, but I know it was already late.
Mara open the door it’s already late I heard Dan breaking me out if my thought.
I walked towards the door and opened it and Dan was outside. Just like I said it, it was raining heavily, he entered and I close the door, how many hours have I been here I asked.
Mara you slept so deep, when school closed I came to call you but you didn’t answer.
God am so tired I said wrapping my hands around myself.
Time? I asked.
5 mins past 7. He said.
Am d@mn hungr. I said
Come eat me he said and streched his hands towards me.
Am not a m0nster I said and rolled my eyes and he burst into laughter.
Mara am cold he said.
Where’s Jay, did he ask of me I asked.
He left I don’t even know where he went to, Mara am sorry you had to go through all this but everything would be fine soon he said.

Lol like seriously am Danny he said and I smiled.
You know am addicted to him I said.
Your addiction is worse, come he said and opened his arms. I walked towards him and he wrapped his hands around me and I rested my head on his chest.
I saw Jay kissing Alvira
I said.
Are you serious? He asked.
Do I look like am joking I replied him.
Just let it go, I know she forced herself on him, some girls are just so desperate but not to worry with those killer shape of yours any guy would go gan gan he said and I blushed.
Dan stop teasing I said and he smiled, just then his phone rang.
?mom you worry too much he said and I knew instantly who it was.
?why won’t I be worried you haven’t been home for some days now.
?mom it’s okay am coming tommorow he said.
? promise she asked.
?yeah promise and bye he said and cut the call.
Mara do you wanna see Jay he asked.
Can you please call him or don’t worry, you take me home first and if he’s not at home, then you would call him I said.
Ok put this on he said giving me a raincoat and I wore it.
Let’s get going he said and dragged me out.
It was raining heavily when we got out, the school lights were shining and everywhere was beautiful.
Mara walked fast you are getting wet Dan said and I ran faster. We got to his car and I stepped in, the inside was d@mn cold, Dan please put off the air condition I said and groaned in frustration.
Ok Miss he said and put it off.
You are taking me home right I asked and he nodded.
The drive to the house was calm and gentle, heat was now in the car making me warm. Soon we got to the house and I saw that Jay’s car wasn’t in there. He’s not yet back. I said.
Am gonna call him how he said and brought out his phone.
?jay where are you he asked.
?at home he said
?but am in your house he said.
?Dan is that you I heard Jay’s mom said.
?yes ma he replied.
?why don’t you come over tonight she said.
?am busy he said.
?get your a$$ here now she yelled.
?ok fine am gonna be there he said and cut the call.
I would get going now I said and picked up my bag.
No mara let’s go together he said and drove out not wanting my opinion..
Moment later.
We arrived at Jay’s parents house, this guys are freaking rich, Dan am scared I said nervously.
Come with me he said and held my hands and dragged me in with him, we got to a large sitting room before we got to main house. They were all having dinner they all look like a happy family.

Wow Dan you came just in time, mama prepared dinne. Jay said smiling.
I love food Dan said and everyone burst into laughter, just then their faze fell on me.
What are you doing here? Jay’s mom asked angrily.
Mom she’s my friend and I was the one who told her to come with me Dan said.
So you have the guts to come here after I warned you not to right she screamed at me.
Mom that’s enough Charles said.
Charles shut up she screamed at him.
But mom you are treating her badly Ara said.
You this b@stard how dare you come to my house she said approaching me as she ignored them, even Dan looks so confused.
Am really sorry I would get going now I said and before I knew it she poured water on me making my uniform wet.
Christiana stop this madness her husband yelled at her, but she ignored him and gave me a d!rty sl@p.
I held my checks as tears poured down from my eyes.
Let this be the last time you ever come close to anyone in my family, you are badluck and that’s why your family abandoned you she screamed at me.
I ran out of the house in tears ignoring Ara’s and Dan’s call. Am I really badluck? Is that why Kay hates me now? Why must my life always be like this? Must I always be in pains?
I sat outside the house crying as the rain was my only companion. I cried till I was tired just then I saw a taxi, I stopped it and entered after giving him my direction.
I stopped in front of Mabel’s house, the security man let me in without stress.
I knocked on the door and a maid opened it for me I could see the shock on their faces.
My eyes fell on them they were all having dinner, I could see the shock on their face. I stood there nervously with my head bowed, yet no one answered me, maybe am no longer needed I thought and walked out of the house.
