Clara’s pov
It’s him! Mr. ! Dalton Bryant The hottest Italian Greek God that kissed me!
“Are you just going to stand there all day long or are you going to come in?”, he said still smirking.
I walked inside and didn’t know if I should sit, so I just stood there and gave him my file.
I am feeling so nervous. I practically asked my boss if he is a g.ay!
I am sure I am not getting this job!
“You may sit Ms….Thomas”, he said after looking at my file for my name,
his italian accent dripping in his voice.
I heard him mumble under his breathe.
“Clara” and looked up at me. I like the way my name rolled off his tongue.
I fiddled with my thumbs.
“So, Ms. Clara Edwards. Tell me about yourself”,
he said while putting the file down. He didn’t even look at it.
“Uh… I am Clara Edwards and did my masters in Business Administration and I wan-“.
“Why do you want to work in our company?”
, he asked while joining his hand and crossing his legs and turned his chair sideways.
All the while looking into my eyes and giving me goose bumps.
“I heard a lot about company. I wanted to do a job here from the time I started doing my MBA.
I hea-“.
“You got the job Ms. Edwards. You can join from tomorrow”, he said while moving in his chair.
I am shocked.
“Thank you sir”, I said excitedly and hugged him in the excitment. “Thank you, thank you, thank you so much sir.
I really needed this job. I wanted to show my parents that I can do my own job”.
Then I pulled away and looked at him.
He is looking at me like he is going to kss me any second now. Me and my stupid excitement!
“I am sorry sir”, I said looking down at my heels.
“For what? For asking me if I am gay or for hugging me?”, his voice sounded a little angry, with a little amusement.
I didn’t dare look up. I am sure now I lost my job and I am blushing like crazy remembering the kss.
“I am sorry about both sir. Actually… I was asking it bec-“.
“I don’t care why you asked me about it.
But I am sure now you know I am not one”, he said while making me looking up at him, by holding my chin.
“Yes”.
“Good and about the hug. Ms. Edwards it’s really inappropriate to hug your boss like that don’t you think”.
“Yes sir. I know I am really sorry”.
“It’s okay this time.
But make sure you won’t do it again, if you don’t want me to loose control and kss you”,
he said looking at my eyes and for a moment I am lost in them.
“Um… sir, do I still have my job?”.
“Yes Ms. Edwards”.
“Thank you, sir”. I stood up nervously. It’s awkward to be with the same man in the room who took my first kss and acts like it didn’t happen.
I started walking to the door feeling eyes on my ass, but I am too nervous to care.
“Ms. Edwards, don’t you want your file?”, I hear him say.
I turned around cursing myself. I looked up at him and saw him leaning against the glass table where I sat a few minutes ago.
He looked like royalty.
“I am sorry”, I went to him and took the file from him and his fingers brushed mine.
I shivered and I know he saw it, cause he is smirking.
I was about to turn away, but he caught my hand and his lips brushed mine.
“Be here at 7.00 AM tomorrow. Don’t be late Clara”, he whispered and I looked up at him only to find him looking into my eyes.
I quickly looked away, feeling intimidated.
“Okay sir”, I said and quickly walked out without looking back.
I fastly walked out of the building. The tension between us is so thick.
I don’t know how I am going to work with him from tomorrow.
God, what am I going to do! I am going to work with this Italian God from now on and should keep my hormones in check.
Please help me whenever I go into that lion’s den!
