“That was really not necessary and you know that.”
We are just back from a date
We are in our room. We have gotten back together six months ago and everything is going great.
Dalton is going to therapy and I should say he is a lot more open now, still a bit controlling, but he is working on it.
I am happy. I am over the top and I can tell he feels the same.
It’s like there is nothing that’s going to stop us now. And the sx… Don’t even ask about it.
“I was just trying it out and it feels good to call you that, Mrs. Bryant.” He says between ksses.
“Oh God.” I kss him hard. He has been teasing me with that name since the past week.
He has not proposed yet since I told him that I want to wait for a while.
Even though he was not happy with it, he didn’t push me.
I jump and wrap my legs around his waist. He holds me in place and walks to our bed.
It’s like one of those situations like I-can’t-take-my-hands-off-you.

Suddenly he pulls out his phone that I didn’t know is on the bed. “Good. It’s recorded.”
He taps something on his phone and I slap his chest in realization.
“Did you really record it?” I look at him flustered. He chuckles.
“Only our voices.”
“There were no voice Dalton! It’s basically me calling your name and moaning.”
“Exactly what I need.” He ksses my nose. I reach for the phone and he puts it away.
“No. I know you will delete it.” I blush and hide my face in his chest.
“You are getting more kinky.” It’s not a complain.
“You like it, Mrs. Bryant!” He chuckles. I giggle.
“Dalton!”
“What? I know we are not engaged and all, but everyone knows that we will be getting married.
I mean, it’s us.” He is right. I kss his jaw reaching up and he ksses the crown of my head as I snuggle into his chest. “Sleep.
I have a surprise for you tomorrow.”
“Okay.” I put my arm around him and he does the same.
“I love you, Cara Mia.” I will never get tired of hearing them.
“I love you too, My Handsome Man.” He chuckles.
“Now sleep, Baby” He says and I am sleeping in not time.
Will you tell me where we are going?” I sit back in my seat and buckle the belt. We are in his car.
Sure enough, he said that it is a surprise, but, I just can’t wait.
“You will know when we get there, Baby.” He takes my hand and soon the flight takes off.

He woke me up at six in the morning. I was so tired from last night.
He took me out for breakfast at my favourite restaurant.
Then we are back in his car. “It’s going to take a while, so sleep. I will wake you up when we get there.”
I am so sleepy, that I close my eyes and sleep without any argument.
When I wake up, I find myself in a familiar room.
I have been here before. This is… His grandfather Greg’s house! This was his mother’s room.
I get up and feel fresh. That was a good nap. I had a good sleep.
I open the door and hear muffled voices. The voices die down as I walk down the stairs.
Dalton and Greg are sitting in the living room opposite to each other.
Dalton’s back is facing me, but once I come down he looks back. Greg smiles at me.
“Hey Greg!” I go to him to give him a hug. “How have you been?”
“I am fine, Dear.” I pull away and go to sit next to Dalton and he puts his hand over my shoulder.
I settle comfortably into his side. He pecks my temple.
“Is this the surprise?” I ask and he smiles without saying anything.
“I am so happy to see you guys together.” Greg says looking at us. I grin at him.
“Thank you.”
Greg, Dalton and I have lunch. Later Dalton and I go to the horses.
Kurt is there. Kurt and I go to horse riding. Dalton for some reason bails on us.
When I ask what is bothering him, he just smiles and says nothing. Something is definitely bothering him, but he is not telling what it is.
By the time I come back from the horse ride, Dalton is in the room waiting for me.
“Hey!” I put my arms around his neck and press my lips against his.
“You know, you are my everything, Cara Mia.” He says with so much sincerity in his eyes while looking into mine. I feel so happy around him.
“You are my everything too.”
“Go take a bath. Let’s go for a walk after that.”
“Walk?”
He hums and I get off of him. “I will be waiting for you.
” He says and ksses me once again before leaving the room.
I take a bath and come out. A huge box is lying on the bed with a note. I pick it up to read it.

His letter brings a huge smile to my face. I put the letter aside and open the box.
There is a light blue dress. I pull it out. It’s a long sleeveless dress.
What do you have on your mind Dalton!
I quickly put on the dress and get ready. I do my hair and start thinking about how far we have come.
All the things that we have been through starting from our meeting, me struggling to accept the fact that I am in love with my boss,
then finally accepting him, my accident, losing my memories,
him being there even when I didn’t recognize him, falling in love with him all over again, gaining my memories back, breaking up,
him leaving, my accident again, our fears, our love, our relationship and us.
Finally we are together. It’s our fight. It’s our story.
The knock on the door brings me back from my thoughts.
I open it and there he is. My Prince. My Man. Dressed in a white shirt and grey suit and pants, he is giving me that killer smile.
His top two buttons are open giving a perfect view of his bare chest. He is looking so sxy.
“You are looking so beautiful, Cara Mia.” He pulls me close and ksses me tenderly. “Let’s go.”
“Is this really necessary for a walk?” I ask pointing to the dress. He chuckles.1
“Yes. For this walk, it is.”
For this walk? He gives me his arm and I link mine with it.
We walk out of the house together. It’s late in the evening and the sun is out.

Once we are out of the house, he leads me to the farm and I let out a gasp as I look at what’s in front of me.
There is lightning leading up to the middle of the farm.
“Come.” He says with smile and guides me through the path.
“Baby, what’s all this?” I ask as we reach the middle of it.
The floor is wooden here and there is lightning all around.
I look at Dalton who is looking at me like I am the light.
He takes my hands in his. He takes a trendil of my hair and puts it behind my ear lovingly.
“Clara, in this world, I don’t cherish anything as much as I cherish you.
You are my world. You make me a better person.
Life is simply nothing without you.” He kneels down and I gasp.
My hands cover my mouth. Oh my God! He reaches to his pocket and pulls out a small box.
He opens its and looks at me. “Cara Mia, My Goddess,
will you do me the honor of being your husband? Will you marry me?”
I am still in shock. I just stare at him. My heat is bursting with happiness. It’s beating so fast like I have run a marathon.
“Clara Edwards, Baby, will you give me the chance to cherish you all my life?”
He is looking at me nervously.
“Yes.” My voice came out as a whisper when in fact I want to shout it.
“Yes!” I say a bit louder than before. He gives me that grin that makes my heart flutter and slips the ring on my finger.
My eyes blur with tears.
“I love you so much, Baby.” He gets up and lifts me before spinning around.
My arms are around his neck. He puts me down and ksses me.
“I love you too.” I say kssing him back, once we are out of breath, he pulls away.
“SHE SAID YES!!!” He shouts loudly in happiness. I am so happy. Suddenly Mom appears from behind me.
“Oh my God!” I am in real shock.
“Oh, my Baby is getting married!” She says coming from behind and I turn around to see her. She hugs me tightly and I hug her back.
“Oh my God, my sister is getting married. We have so much to plan.
Show me that ring!” Micheal says coming to me.
Kurt is standing right beside my brother. They have been in a relationship for a year now.
I turn around and see Greg and William congratulating Dalton.
I rush to him and hug him again. He hugs me back.
“I love you.” I whisper.
“I love you too, Mrs. Bryant” He whispers back.
I pull away and smile at him. He smiles back. He leans down and ksses me.
Everyone around us is cheering for us.
We are finally together. We are one soul now.
