The next day Annalise decided to pay Layla a visit at her work place, though they were supposed to still be in school until school was officially over but Zane took care of it and Annalise stopped as soon as she was done writing exams
“Layla” Annalise waved and Layla waved back from the counter
Annalise found herself a seat in a corner, Layla took an excuse from Gina and ran to Annalise
“Hey” Layla said sitting opposite Annalise
She creased her brows when she noticed Annalise outfit, she was putting on a long sleeved high neck shirt on a sunny day?
“What’s with the outfit?” Layla asked and Annalise took her lips in
“Uh..” she wanted to talk but Gina came in at that time
“Hi” Gina waved
“Hi” Annalise said back
“Oh well I saw you and couldn’t help but find you familiar, then I quickly searched and realized when I saw you are Mr Zane Adler’s cute and adorable wife” Gina explained
“Cute and adorable” Annalise muttered
“Don’t think much about it, she’s always this energetic” Layla whispered and Annalise nodded
“Well I finally got to meet you in person and you’re so cute, can I get a picture please?”
“Yes” Annalise nodded and Gina quickly brought out her phone
They took a picture and Gina quickly returned to her post after thanking Annalise endlessly
“She’s so funny and likeable” Annalise laughed and shook her head
“Yea, she makes the job more fun” Layla added
“As I was saying about your outfit, aren’t you feeling hot?” Layla asked
“Well…” Annalise trailed while drawing the neck of her shirt down, exposing the hickeys all over her neck
“Ohh is that the making of Mr Zane Adler?” Layla asked wiggling her brows at Annalise who flushed in embarrassment
“He also said he liked me… He said he liked me Layla” Annalise literally shrieked
“Ohhh… Imma fall in love too” Layla gushed and they both giggled
“Keep it down gossips, stop screaming like a banshee” Gina shouted from the counter
“I thought you’re already in love”
“I’m in a crush”
“But you like him don’t you?” Annalise asked again
“Well, I won’t admit it yet, until I’m ready to” Layla replied
“Alright then, don’t come crying to me when he’s taken” Annalise said
“Don’t joke about such things Anna”
“Welcome boss” they both heard Gina greet loudly
Layla and Annalise looked and saw Kai
“Sht, I gotta go Anna, I’ll come see you maybe tomorrow”
“We’re supposed to leave tomorrow Layla” Annalise reminded and Layla nodded
“Right, then I’ll see you tomorrow, bye” she waved and rushed to where Kai and Gina stood.
