Gary sighed and checked his watch for the umpteenth time, it had been two hours since he got here
“Can’t believe I got stood up by a girl” Gary chuckled and stood up and stared outside, it was pouring heavily
He had parked his car pretty far because the restaurant was in a remote area
He walked to the door and at that time Frenchie came in, she seemed to have run a long way because she was panting and she had an umbrella
“I… I’m sorry” she said
“Can’t believe I got stood up by my own secretary” Gary chuckled and walked past her
“But sir it’s pouring outside” Frenchie yelled but he ignored her and kept walking under the rain towards his car
“Then at least take this” she ran to him and gave him the umbrella
“What is wrong with you Frenchie?” Gary yelled angrily
“I give you the time to come and you show up two hours later and tell me you’re sorry, you know how hard I had to swallow my pride so I could invite you over for dinner and apologize?”
“So I could apologize, do you know how hard it is for me? I can’t even say I’m sorry to Kai or even Zane and I want to say it to you and you stand me up?
Now you’re offering me an umbrella?, Just get lost Frenchie” Gary yelled and walked away
Frenchie touched her chest, she felt her heart clench in pain
Why did she feel heartbroken?, Tears escaped her eyes…..

“I’ll miss you babe” Annalise pouted
“I’ll miss you more, I’m missing you already” Zane said as he kept pecking her lips repeatedly
“I wish you wouldn’t go”
“Should I stay?” He asked and she immediately shook her head fixing his tie
“There’s no need but I’ll be needing you tonight” she grinned naughtily
“I wonder what you’ll need me for” Zane teased
“We’ll see when you get back” Annalise smiled and drew him to her height with his tie, she kssed him, he wrapped his hand around her waist and drew her closer
She dug her hand into his soft silky hair while he nibbled and sucked on her lower lip until they were numb, he proceeded to her earlobe, it was her weak spot
“Hmmm” she moaned and he let her go
“Let’s stop here or I might not be able to go to work” Zane said and pecked her lips again
They headed downstairs where Cassandra stood with a huge smile that scared Annalise
“Mom…”
“You little …” Cassandra yelled and charged towards Zane who immediately took off
“What did I do?” He asked still running while she ran after him
“Our dear Anna is pregnant and you could not tell me your mother?!!” She yelled and threw her purse at him
“I’m sorry it just skipped my mind”
“Why would it not skip your mind, you ungrateful brat I gave you a cute girl and you impregnate her and not tell me, the recommender?” She jumped and caught him pulling his ear
“Ouch mom, let go” Zane winced
“Mom it’s not his fault, he’s been busy lately” Annalise immediately said and Cassandra stopped immediately releasing him.
