Scylla woke up on the hospital bed the next morning,she opened her eyes slowly and groaned as she felt the pain in her tummy,she even surprised she’s not dead yet.
“You’re awake” Kian said,just as he entered into the ward.
Scylla looked at her.
“Kian” She called and tried getting up.
“That’s not going to be a good idea” Kian muttered and leaned on the wall.
“I’m…sorry” She said.
“Sorry? For what? Protecting your mother?” Kian asked.
“I know you’re mad at me because…”
“Mad at you? If I was mad at you,I wouldn’t have brought you here. I’m not angry at all,it’s normal,I was expecting that,I am not in anyway angry with you for choosing to protect your mother even though she murdered my own mom,I mean,I deserve to be an orphan,but you don’t deserve it…”
Scylla shook her head and tears fell from her eyes.
“The only thing I am a little bit mad about is the fact that you lied to me,,you really think I wouldn’t find out? I didn’t do any shit even when I found out Jadaline was among those who killed my father,but you think I would turn heaven into earth when I find out she killed my mom as well? Scylla…it’s not a new thing anymore,I wasn’t even shocked when I heard Kenzo mentioned Jadaline’s name” he moved closer to her.
“I will prefer we stop talking about it,coz I don’t feel like”
“I’ve paid your bills,the Doctor said you will be fine…”
“You’re not breaking up with me right?” Scylla asked.
“No,the relationship wasn’t supposed to happen in the first place,like I said,I won’t blame you for anything and I hate the fact that you got hurt…”
“Kian….”
“Since you aren’t getting it,I will say it loud and clear. We are done,Scylla. I’m giving you the chance to join your family and do the right thing” Kian said and started walking to the door.
“Kian….”
“If you call my name again,I will make sure you are right there when I’m ready to kill your mom,I’m sure you don’t wanna see that. Who would date a guy who’s gonna murder her mom? Same way I don’t want to date a girl whose mother killed mine,we are even,aren’t we? Bye Scylla” Kian said coldly and walked out,slamming the door loudly behind him.
Scylla broke into tears,a loud one. She almost cried her eyes out,but nothing changed,Kian never turned back. She was left alone in there.

Some minutes after Kian left,The door opened again and Billie entered with Mandi.
“Scylla!!” They screamed and rushed toward her on the bed.
“What the fûck happened? I didn’t know Kian got my number,he called and told us to come check on you here” Billie said.
Scylla said nothing,she just lay in bed.
“Can you tell us what’s going on? You’ve been keeping quiet and acting weird all week,what’s happening? How did this happen? And why is Kian not with you?” Mandi rushed her questions.
But yet,Scylla uttered no words.
“Hey!! Say something at least,I should be in school but I came running here as soon as I heard you were here…”
“You shouldn’t have showed up then” Scylla said and removed the drip from her wrist.
“Where are you going? You still don’t look fine” Mandi held her.
“Not your business,don’t interfere. You two should go to school and don’t mind me at all” Scylla said and walked out of the ward.
Mandi and Billie exchanged glances.
“Does this have anything to do with the mistake she said she’s making?” Mandi asked.
“I think they broke up,but something deep happened that she’s not telling us about…”
Their eyes widened at the same time suddenly.
“Her mother?!!” They exclaimed.

2PM, PINNACLES*
Lecture was ongoing in the hall and unusually the hall is totally filled up,one,all the rocket boys are inside the class,including Kairo as well,two, the prof is the most popular among Pinnacles girls,Nickel.
Most handsome lecturer in school,even at 36,he still manage to get all the girls to fall for him.
Elena was sitting in between Knox,Daven and Saint and all of them are quietly listening to the ongoing lecture,aside Daven who was doing something else on his laptop.
“Hey” Elena removed his airpod and he looked at her.
“Are you born to disturb me?” Daven groaned.
“We have an ongoing class and you’re listening to music?” Elena scoffed.
“What’s your business?” Daven snapped.
“What’s with Kian and Kairo though? Why the hell are they so distant from each other?” Knox spoke up.
“I was about saying that,I’ve been wondering too,maybe they had a fight?” Saint asked.
Elena sighed as they stared at the indentical boys,Kian is sitting about three seats away from them while Kairo is sitting at the far ending of the hall,He’s the only boy sitting there and the girls wouldn’t stop staring at him.
“And Kairo is putting on another color not black,this is my first time seeing him in another color” Daven muttered.
“Maybe they really had a fight” Saint said.
“My test is next week,not just mine,most of the tests will be starting next week,so brace yourself well and prepare enough to make everything sweet as it was from the beginning” Prof Nickel said and started packing his stuffs.
* You don’t have to worry about that Prof.
* Can our test be as hot as you?.
* Gasps*
“Don’t cross the line” Prof Nickel said,but he still smiled.
“Is he handsome? I don’t think so” Daven spoke up.
“He’s more handsome than you” Elena scoffed at him.
“I know you’re blind actually,I have a Doctor I can recommend for you,idiot” Daven said and Elena grabbed his hair.
“Are you crazy?!” Daven half yelled and eyes turned to them.
Elena immediately dropped her hand.
“Must you two fight?” Knox sighed.
“She started it!”
“He started it!”
Daven and Elena snapped together at ones.
“So childish” Saint chuckled.
“But he looks familiar though,I think about it anytime I see him” Daven muttered.
“You seriously don’t know Nickel? He used to be in Red Vipers mob as Vincenzo’s PA but he quit and started working here instead” Kian said.
“Wow,so he’s an ex mafia? Awwwn” Elena smiled.
“Yeah” Saint nodded.
“Am I the only one or something feels off about him?” Daven asked.
“Just because he’s more handsome than you?” Elena scoffed.
“Not that,I just…” Daven sighed and kept quiet instead.
“Kairo?” Prof Nickel suddenly called on his way out.
Kairo looked at him from where he was sitting.
“A moment with you,follow me” Nickel said and went out.
Kairo stood up and carried his bag.
* He’s so hot!
* oh my heart,his height alone turns me on!
Kian looked at him as he walked out but Kairo didn’t spare him a glance.
He followed Nickel till they entered into his office.
“Why am I here?” Kairo asked.
“You’re here because you have no record point for my course at all,how are you gonna pull up enough mark this semester?” Nickel asked as he washed his hands in the sink just at the end of the office.
“I will think about it” Kairo replied.
“Really?” Nickel looked at him and sat down.
“I was thinking you might need some extra lessons…”
“No I don’t need it,not like I want to attend this school in the first place,I’m only coming for coming sake,don’t push it” Kairo cut in.
“Well at least you’re here,and you’ve been doing well so far. I just want to help” Nickel said.
Kairo checked the time.
“Are you in a hurry?” Nickel asked.
“Can you round this up?” Kairo asked.
“No,take a seat young man” Nickel said.
“Please” He added.
Kairo rolled his eyes and sat down grumpily.
Nickel chuckled and shook his head.
“You’re twenty,right?” He asked.
“I will be twenty one soon though…”
“Six months isn’t soon,,it’s until next year May,we are still in November” Nickel said and waved Kairo’s student details in his hand.
“So why ask when you know?” Kairo groaned.

“What happened between you and Kairo?” Knox asked Kian as they all gathered together in the basketball court.
Elena and Daven already fighting for a ball,but they moved closer, hearing that.
Kian sighed and told them everything from the top to the end.
“The fûck?!!” The boys exclaimed together at once.
The ball fell from Elena’s hand,her eyes also grew wide.
“Kenzo? Jadaline? And she said nothing about it? That’s fûcked up” Knox said.
“But,how did you know about it?” Saint asked.
“I was at the location a day before” Kian muttered.
Actually,that day he planned with Scylla,he went to the location that same night and planted a recording bug there just in case,while everything was happening between Scylla and Kenzo,he was hearing everything live with Kairo.
“Kairo stabbed her” Kian continued and they gasped again.
“How’s she now?” Elena asked.
“She’s fine…and I broke up with her as well” Kian added.
“Nicely done,I’ve never trusted Jadaline’s offspring anyway” Saint scoffed.
“I was beginning thinking and wondering how you would do it, she wouldn’t support you against her mother never” Knox muttered.
“What about you? You did” Daven said.
“Because I know what father can do,,and I’ve never supported him,he knows” Knox replied.
“So you and Kairo aren’t talking? Because you stopped him from killing Scylla?” Daven asked Kian.
“Yeah” Kian nodded.
“You two should settle things,and tell us if you ever need our help,I will help no matter what,I promise” Saint muttered.
“No, I don’t want to involve anyone in my shit,and you too Knox. You don’t have to do anything,He’s your father no matter what,me and Kairo will handle things on our own” Kian said and walked out of the court.
“I feel so sad right now” Saint muttered.
“Whatever he says,let’s help anytime we have to,no option” Daven said.
Elena sighed sadly,she wanted to run after Kian and just give him a hug,but she had to force herself to stop,maybe a hug isn’t the best thing he needs at the moment.

Hia ran after Kairo as he entered the school parking garage,he was just about opening the car door when she got to him.
“What is it?” Kairo asked.
“I was just wondering, something wrong?” Hia asked.
“No” Kairo replied shortly.
“I told you to tell me whenever anything is wrong,I will help” Hia muttered.
“Help in what way?” Kairo snapped and Hia took her lower lip in.
“Leave,I’m not in the mood for this” Kairo scoffed.
“You can call me anytime you need me” Hia said and turned to go.
She paused a little when she saw Kian coming,she immediately ran pass him.
Kairo saw Kian and opened the car door.
“Hey” Kian closed the door back and Kairo glared at him.
“We need to talk…”
“I have no single word to say to you,stay away” Kairo snapped.
“Lead the way,I will be behind you,let’s talk when we get to your place” Kian said and ignored his protest.
Kairo scoffed and entered his car,Kian also climbed his bike and the two of them drove out of school in no time.
They got to Kairo’s house some minutes later.
“Don’t you have food at home? I’m hungry” Kian muttered.
Kairo rolled his eyes and went upstairs.
“Wow,does he hold grudges this much?” Kian shook his head and entered the kitchen but it’s all empty.
“Does he even eat at all?”
“You are not welcome here,go to your house and eat there,not this place” Kairo entered and opened the fridge.
“I broke up with her” Kian said.
“None of my business…”
“Of course it’s your business,,telling you not to hurt her doesn’t mean I overlooked everything,I’m just saying it’s fine to make her decision,,I choose to understand why she did that doesn’t mean I won’t go on with my plan,don’t you get it at all?” Kian groaned.
Kairo faced him.
“You broke up with her?” He asked.
“You don’t believe me?”
“I thought you love Jadaline’s daughter more than your own brother” Kairo said.
“Can we talk about what’s important now?” Kian asked.
Kairo brought out his phone and gave it to Kian.
“Clayton” He said.
Kian played the voice message and listened to it.
Clayton made them understand that Sitara is behind them and supporting them.
“You don’t find it weird?” Kian asked.
“I do,so let’s do it your way” Kairo replied.
Kian smiled.
“If my plan doesn’t work,then we go bloody” He said.
“Cool” Kairo nodded.
“Can we find something to eat now? I’ve not eaten since last night” Kian smiled.
Kairo scoffed and took his phone from him.
“What will you like to eat??” He asked.
“Anything you want to eat” Kian replied and Kairo said nothing.
“Do you talk to Elena?” He suddenly asked.
“Do I need to?” Kairo looked at him.
“You should be nice to her,really” Kian replied.
“I know,you told me about her but I haven’t really got the time to…”
“Start doing it” Kian cut in.
“Fine” Kairo sighed.

7PM, VANESSA’S APARTMENTS*
A wide smile spread on Vanessa’s face as she opened the door to set her eyes on Knox.
“Hey”
Knox entered and carried her up,hugging her in the process,she chuckled loudly and closed her eyes.
“I’ve missed you so much,this is so unfair,do you really have to work so much?” Knox pouted as he placed her down.
Vanessa smiled and cupped his cheeks.
“Of course,I have to work so I can repay you for everything…”
“Not that again,can you stop talking about repaying me? Can’t you just allow this one to pass? Please,I wanted to help,you didn’t force or begged me too,I helped because I wanted to” Knox said.
Vanessa smiled.
“I prepared your favorite meal,let’s go eat” She grabbed his hand.
Knox pushed her hand down and carried her instead.
“Knox!! I’m not a kid!” Vanessa exclaimed.
“But I’ve missed you” he winked.
Vanessa smiled and allowed him.
He dropped her on the seat when they got to the dinning room.
He pecked her lips before sitting down too.
“How’s school?” Vanessa asked.
“Asking me about school makes it really obvious that you’re older,you sound like my sister,stop it” Knox said in a deep voice and Vanessa laughed.
“Fine,sorry”
Knox smiled.
“I missed your voice” He said.
“Oh please,we talk on phone almost every night”
“‘Not the same,c’mon,seeing you right now is totally different” He replied.
“I know,but we are going to see each other often now right?”
“Yeah” Knox nodded and stood up.
“Where are you going?” Vanessa asked.
“To spice up this dinner” He winked and pulled her up from her seat.
“Knox..”
“Sshh” he lifted her up and placed her on the table.
“Do you even know how much I missed you?” He mumbled and pulled her hair behind her ears then pressed a gentle kiss on her lips.
He pulled her head closer and went deeper which she also reciprocated firmly,her hands traveled through his chest and she managed to pull him e eb more closer.
Knox grabbed her waist and took her from the table again.
“The couch or bedroom?” Knox asked in a whisper and Vanessa’s eyes widened.
“Baby! Couch is not an option!” She snapped.
Knox chuckled and made way to the stairs.
“Fûck,you’re totally wet” He groaned.
Vanessa kissed his neck in response.

“So you two broke up? finally?” Jadaline asked with a hint of happiness in her voice as she sipped from her wine.
Scylla moved closer to her.
“That’s not important right now mother..”
“Then what’s important?”
“He found out” Scylla said.
“What? Found out what?”
“He knows about you and Kenzo,he knows everything. I should have known,I shouldn’t have tried to cover up,now he hates me” Scylla said in tears.
“Are you crazy?! You should have told me right away!” Jadaline yelled and immediately took one of her phones.
“What are you doing?” Scylla asked.
“What am I doing? Get ready for tonight you bitch!! Do you want everything to be over for me?! We need to do something!” Jadaline shouted.

CAPO’S PENTHOUSE*
Capo stared at Sitara under his veil as she was so immersed with the video they were watching.
Kairo and Kian actually sent them the video of Kenzo torturing Canessa,and also the voice of Kenzo confessing that he was following Jadaline’s order.
Capo saw a tear dropped from Sitara’s eyes and he paused the video.
Sitara looked at him.
“You don’t have to watch it if you can’t” Capo uttered and tried wiping her tears with his thumb.
“Don’t cross the line” Sitara glared and he dropped his hand.
Sitara cleaned her tears.
“Get Jadaline on the line..”
“I’ve tried,she wouldn’t answer” Capo replied.
“She must really mean business,it might ruin her this time” Sitara stood up.
“What do you want to do about it?” Capo asked.
“We are going to make them step down,since I have one evidence now…”
“Against Jadaline alone” Capo completed.
“Jadaline wouldn’t go down alone,she will end up exposing everyone else the moment she notice her downfall,that’s how it works” Sitara replied and Capo nodded.
“You’re right” He said.
“What’s with the mask all the time anyway? I heard nobody ever saw your face,it’s been almost Five years since I heard you became a capo here…”
“I don’t want to talk about it goddess,privacy” Capo cut in and Sitara scoffed.
She watched him stood up and walked out.

Kian remained on his bike as he dialed Elena’s number,He’s right in front of her apartment,they are supposed to have dinner together but her line isn’t connecting at all.
Kian had to leave his bike and went inside,thank goodness the elevator worked.
Getting to her own door,it wasn’t locked but she was not inside either.
Kian tried her number again,still the same. He was beginning to get worried but that was interrupted by Kairo’s call which he answered right away.
“What’s up?”
“Hey! Kenzo’s location is moving toward Tynia Seaport,that bastard is trying to escape!” Kairo shouted on phone and Kian’s eyes widened.
“Where are you? I will be on my way right now” Kian said and hurried back into the elevator.
“On my way there as well” Kairo replied before hanging up.
Kian didn’t even bother to balance well enough on the bike before zooming off.
He wore his helmet on speed and then fired the engine even more.

TYNIA SEAPORT*
Kenzo rushed out of his car with a bag and started running toward the only boat available there.
“L’ho già pagato, dov’è il marinaio?( I paid for this already,where’s the sailor?)” Kenzo asked the man he met there doing some sort of cleaning.
“Oh, arriverà presto (Oh,he will be here soon)” the man replied.
“Non ho tempo per queste stronzate!! Portatelo subito!! (I have no time for this shit!! Bring him right now!!)” Kenzo yelled at him and pointed a gun at him.
The man gasped and in feat while shaking,he fell into the sea.
Kenzo turned around and saw Kairo just getting down from his car,immediately he took to his heels,he threw the bag in his hand away and ran faster.
Note: He doesn’t know if it’s Kairo or Kian.
“That psycho,how did he find me?” He mumbled breathlessly.
He could hear Kairo getting closer and closer toward him,obviously he’s faster.
And the next thing,Kairo shot his leg.
“Ahh!!!” Kenzo yelped out and fell roughly on the ground.
Kian got there that very minute.
“How dare you even try to escape?!!” Kian thundered.
Kairo was about dragging Kenzo when suddenly they heard some footsteps behind them.
“You must be looking for someone” The feminine voice said and they both turned.
Kian’s eyes widened to see Liliana holding Elena and a gun placed on her skull.
“Elena” Kian called and took a step.
“If you take another step,I will blow off her head,I’m sure you know I can do that” Liliana smirked.
“I told you right? Now she sent her daughters to come block our way” Kairo smiled at Kian.
“Don’t touch Elena,she did nothing wrong” Kian said.
Liliana laughed manically.
“Don’t you get? That’s exactly why I’m involving her,,I’m sure your mom did nothing too,isn’t it enough to know that we want your family out of the way? Everyone close to you” Liliana said.
“She’s crazy” Kairo muttered.
Suddenly another car entered roughly and parked.
“Hey Ken! Get in!” Bianca shouted.
Kairo turned,but Kian’s eyes didn’t leave Elena and Liliana.
Kairo saw it clearly,,Scylla drove the car.
Kenzo started rushing toward the car even with his one leg.
“I never intended to kill you so easily bastard!!! You pushed me!!!” Kairo growled and without thinking twice,he followed Kenzo.
He destroyed his whole body with bullets,he shot it almost ten times,head twice,neck,legs,arms,head again.
Kenzo dropped on the floor in his own pool of blood,Scylla started the car again but Kairo ran after the car.
Elena was crying but she could tell with Kian’s eyes,telling her not to worry that he would take care of the situation.
She knew he didn’t make any move simply because he doesn’t want her to get hurt.
“That sun of a bitch” Liliana pushed Elena off on the ground and pointed the gun at Kian instead.
“I’ve been waiting for this moment” She said.
“You can shoot me,as long as you don’t hurt Elena” Kian replied.
“No…please” Elena shook her head and stood up with tears in her eyes.
“Bye,,Kian Zero” Liliana smirked and pulled the trigger.
“Noooo!!!!!!” Elena screamed and ran to Kian without any second thought,she hugged Kian just before the bullet could hit him,and the bullet went straight into her neck.
Her blood stained Kian’s clothes and her eyes closed.
“Lena!!!!!!!” Kian screamed out.
Tears rolled down his eyes.
