“What did I just say ?!! ” Sofina screamed inwardly.
Her eyes were on Hardin who was still staring at her with his deep red eyes.
“Mmm… That not what I meant ” She said shaking her head sideways.
Hardin chuckled , a small but visible smile appeared on his face.
Sofina was stunned this was the first time she had ever seen Hardin smile , though the smile wasn’t a big bright one but still his lips curled up a bit.
“So you don’t like me ? ” Hardin asked , he still had that light smile on his face, he enjoys teasing her.
“Good night!! ” She yelled and tried running to her room , but he grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his arms.
One of his hand was wrapped around her slender waist while his other hand remained in his pants Pocket.
“You can’t just run away when things are getting interesting ”
“I was just kidding I don’t like you ” Sofina said and Hardin chuckled.
“Once you say something you can never take it back , butterfly ” Hardin said and tugged a strand of her hair behind her ears.
Sofina felt a blush appearing up her face when his cold fingers brushed against her cheek.
“Butterfly ? ” She asked with a confused expression.
“Yes , I will call you that cause you are as beautiful as a butterfly infact you are more beautiful than a butterfly but you are fragile and delicate just like a butterfly ”
Sofina instantly started blushing when he said she was beautiful.
Why was he suddenly being so cheesy?!!
“I should head back to my room now ” Sofina said and tried to break free from his embracement.
“You should sleep in my room ” Hardin said then sweep her off her feet.
“Wow! ” Sofina gasped and quickly wrapped her hands around his neck.
“I wanna sleep in my room and not your room , your room gives a weird vibe everything in there is painted with the colour black ”
“Ok then we will sleep in your room ” Hardin said and Sofina’s eyes widen.
“We?! ” She asked.
Hardin snapped his fingers and they both appeared in Sofina’s room , right on the bed , Sofina was laying right next to him.
Her head resting on his chest and Hardin’s cuddling her like a baby.
“Why must you sleep here ? ” Sofina mumbled.
“I noticed I sleep better when you are next to me ” Hardin answered and closed his eyes.
Sofina felt her heart fluttered , after hearing his reason for wanting to sleep with her.
“Then will you continue to sleep with me ? I mean should we sleep together more often ? ” She asked , smiling as she waited for his answer but he didn’t say anything.
“Hardin ? ” She called but got no response from him.
“Maybe he is asleep already ” She mumbled and Sighed.
She soon fall asleep with her head on his chest , his calm heart beat were like lullaby to her ears.

NEXT MORNING ~ SOFINA’S HOME
The door to Max room opened and Juliet stepped out , looking all happy and cheerful.
She felt so alive right now , sleeping in Max’s room , somehow comforted Her.
She couldn’t even remember the last time she had a good sleep like that.
She walked to the living room hoping to see Max awake but to her surprise he was still asleep.
Juliet smiled then walked towards him , she squat down Infront of him and begin staring at his face like it was some kind of jewel.
“He looks cute while he is asleep and his messy hair looks so hot ” She mumbled and gently removed his hair that seemed to be covering his face.
Max suddenly opened his eyes , Juliet was got sacred and shifted backwards , she forget that she was squatting down , so she almost fell , out of reflex Max grabbed her not wanting her to use her head to hit the table.
But since she was squatting and he was laying down on the couch it made things complicated.
When Max pulled her by grabbing her wrist, she shifted forward and both of them lips touched.
Juliet immediately broke the simple peck on the lips and stood up , Coughing awkwardly.
“Mm Good morning ” Max Said and also stood up from the couch.
“Morning ” She answered , she was embarrassed so she avoided looking at him.
“I will quickly go and freshen up then come back and make something for breakfast ”
“You don’t have to, I ordered food form a restaurant already ”
“Oh then excuse me ” Max Said and quickly went into his room.
Juliet sat on the couch , grabbed one of the Small throw pillows that were on the couch , placed it on her face and let out a scream , that came out as a muffling sound.
“Gosh that was so awkward ” She mumbled and started to ruffle her hair.

FEW MINUTES LATER*
Juliet was still sitting on the couch and Max was yet to come out of his room.
The doorbell was rung.
“Oh is the food here , that pretty quick ” Juliet muttered then walked towards the door , Max also stepped out of the room.
Juliet opened the door and instead of the restaurant Delivery staff , she met a girl , for some reasons Juliet finds the girl face familiar but she couldn’t really remember where she had seen her.
Her eyes widen when she realized that the girl Infront of her was the same girl that she saw with Max the other day.
Pearl looked at Juliet from head to toe with a hurtful expression on her face.
Juliet was putting on One of Max white shirt , she is tall so wearing just Max shirt looked really short on her , her long legs and laps were exposed to the eyes and her round breast were pumping out for the Shirt.
The question on Pearl’s mind were who is this woman ? Why is she here and why is she wearing Max’s cloth ? Or she is girlfriend ?
” Hi ” Juliet greeted , she felt uncomfortable that Pearl was looking at her.
“Am I in the wrong apartment ? ” Pearl mumbled and moved backwards to check the number that was written on the door ,but the number was correct.
This is Sofina’s and Max Apartment but who is the lady Infront of her ?
“Max, I am here to see Max ” Pearl finally talked to Juliet .
She was trying so hard not break down , imagine waking up early in the morning to prepare breakfast for your crush , only to get to his apartment and met a lady dressed in his shirt.
Meanwhile Max noticed that Juliet was taking too long outside.
“Maybe her credit card got denied ” He mumbled and walked towards the door.
“Pearl ? ” Max called when he met Pearl standing outside.
Pearl flashed him a really sad smile ,tears were already gathered in her eyes and we’re threatening to fall out any moment.
“I made breakfast for you ” She said and gave him the bag then ran as fast as possible.
“Pearl wait!! ” Max shouted but she ran without looking back.
She got to the elevator pressed the button then got inside it.
After the elevator door closed she squat down, burying her face in her hands , weeping bitterly.

HELL
The two men guarding the palace gate frowned when a blind woman approached them.
“This is the palace , kindly walk away ” One of the guard said.
“Then I am in the right place , please let me in I want to speak with the king ” The blind woman said and both guards looked at themselves then laughed.
“First of all the king is not around and second of all the king doesn’t associate with your kind , now get lost ” The guard who spoke earlier said.
“Please it really important , my daughter is missing please I have to see the king , my daughter is the only thing that keeps me alive , please let me in ” The woman pleaded , she was already in tears.
The two guards didn’t even take pity on her they just rolled their eyes at her.
“We can’t let you in , if we let you in we will surely lose our heads ” The guard who hadn’t say anything to the blind woman said.
“My daughter is just a little girl , I have no idea where she is I just need the king to help me find her ”
“It like you are deaf, I just told you that the king will not see someone like you!! ” The guard who spoke earlier yelled.
“Why?!! Is it because I am blind!! Or because I am a begger!!! The king is supposed to care for everyone in the village!!! We are also his people!!!! ” The blind woman screamed , drawing people’s attention towards them.
“Why are you shouting ?! This is the king’s palace not a market!! ” Chief North snapped angrily as he stepped out of the palace.
The two guards quickly bowed their heads.
He was walking around the palace when he heard the voices shouting at each other.
“Chief North this blind woman here demands to see the king ” One of the guard said.
Chief North eyed her then scoffed.
“What could someone like you want to see the king for ? ” He asked.
“My daughter is missing , she went out to beg for food and money with other kids but she never came back ”
Chief North mind immediately went to the little girl he and the witch used for his daughter.
He looked closer at the blind woman and he could instantly see the striking resemblance between her the woman and the little girl.
“That none of the king’s business ” Chief North answered Coldly then faced the guards.
“Make sure she doesn’t Get in here , if she insist deal with her ruthlessly ” Chief North instructed them then Walked back inside the palace.
“No!! Let me in!! ” The blind woman shouted and tried to go in.
The two guards grabbed both of her hands and threw her like she was some kind of rag!!
The poor blind woman fell on the ground injuring her knees and Palm .
“My stick ” She said and started touching the ground Hoping to find her stick.
Instead of helping her the guards laughed , enjoying what was happening Infront of them.
“You animals!! How can you treat a helplessly woman like that ?! Don’t you have elder ones at home!! ” A lady yelled at the guards and them quickly bowed their heads.
“Good day Healer Echo ”
Echo the Healer , walked towards the helplessly blind woman helped her up then picked up her stick and gave it to her.
“Thank you my child ”
“Why would you push her like that ?! ” Echo asked the guard.
“She was trying to get into the palace ” One of the guards answered and Echo glared at him before looking at the blind woman.
“Why were you trying to get inside the palace ? Is your child working in the palace ? ” Echo asked and the woman shook her head sideways.
“No I want to see the king , my daughter has been missing for days and I am worried about her I need the king’s help ”
The woman said and Echo sighed , feeling nothing but pity for her.
” The king is not in hell right now , but I am Healer and I stay in the palace you can stay in my quarter ( Suite ) Until the king comes back ”
“Thank you my child , thank you ” The woman was so grateful towards Echo.
“Healer Echo Chief North instructed us not to let her in ”
“I also hold a prestigious status in the palace , Do you dare to Stop me ? ” Echo asked , Staring aggressively at the so called Guards.
The guards had no choice but to open the the palace gate for them to get in , Sadly Healer Sonia passed away some days ago , now Echo was the only healer left.
Witches and healers were the only one who could take care of sick people and heal them , Witches are strictly forbidden in the kingdom and the birth rate of Healer is really low, If anything bad was to ever happen to her then the kingdom is entirely doomed, they had to give her the respect and honour she deserves.
Echo scoffed at them before walking into the palace , she supported the old blind woman as they head to her quarter.
A little girl who was sitting on the grass looking really sad , got up the moment she saw The blind woman.
“Mom!!! ” She screamed and ran towards Echo and her mom.
She stood Infront of them and instead of Echo stopping when she saw the little girl , she walked through her.
“They can’t see me also , why is this happening to me ? ” Lily asked herself and sat on the floor, crying her heart out.
She was confused right now , she came to the palace to get food for her mom and herself but the chief and the old woman did something to her , she then blacked out.
She woke up only to find herself laying outside on the grass , she tried communicating to the people she saw but it was like nobody could see her , they will just walk through her like she wasn’t standing Infront of them.
She tried going out of the Palace, but whenever she steps out of the Palace , she will somehow end up appearing back into the palace.
She was convinced and scared , but she was most especially scared , she is just a seven years old girl who knows nothing.

DEVIL’S CLAN
“Mmmm!!! ” Sofina let out a Groan as she stretched out tiredly on the bed , for some reason she woke up with a smile.
She removed the duvet and rolled off the bed, she was planning to go to bathroom and freshen up when she saw a white paper on the drawer that was next to her bed.
“What is this ? ” She mumbled and picked it up , unfold it and started reading it .
{ YOU LOOKED SO PEACEFUL WHILE SLEEPING SO I DIDN’T WANT TO WAKE YOU UP , I MIGHT HAVE BEEN LONG GONE BY THE TIME YOU WAKE UP, I AM GOING SOMEWHERE IMPORTANT AND I DON’T KNOW WHEN I WILL COME BACK BUT IN THE MAIN TIME I ASSIGN SKY AND SOME MEN TO PROTECT YOU WHILE I AM GONE }
She pouted in annoyance after the reading the letter that was written by Hardin.
“So mean , he should have waked me ” She muttered , she felt lonely all of a suddenly.

TWO HOURS LATER**BOOK STORE**
Sofina was walking around the book store , checking the shelf’s of books she came across.
Sky had something really important to attend to in the clan , but five men came with her to the bookstore.
Another hobby that Sofina has apart from drawing , singing , watching k drama and dancing was novels, she is a freak when it comes to reading novels.
Her favorite Author just released a new novel called (OBSESSION FROM HELL ) , she came to the bookstore to get a copy for herself.
“Where did they put it ? ” She mumbled as she looked around around.
She continued to check the Shelves while the men assigned to protect her watched her.
“Found it! ” She screamed excitedly and climbed the ladder that people normally climb whenever they want to get books for top shelves.
She took the book off the shelf and started climbing down for the ladder , she mistakenly missed a step while climbing down and she started to fall backwards.
“AHH!! ” she let out a scream as she falling Down , she closed her eyes expecting the terrible pain she would feel once her body met with the floor.
Instead of falling to the floor , she fell into someone arms.
She slowly opened her eyes , surprisedly that someone caught her.
Lo and behold it was a stranger who she had never seen.
Marcus on the other hand was looking at Sofina that was in his arms.
His world almost crumbled when a sweet scent from her body hit his nose.
It might had been a thousand years since he had last smelt that Scent , but he recognized it immediately.
The scent he was perceiving form Sofina’s body was the same scent Lina had, her heavenly scent that always drives him crazy.
His grip around Sofina tighten and Sofina tried so hard not to scream out loud.
” We meet again Lina ” He muttered and smiled, Sofina stared at him with total confusion…..
