Zinedine’s thoughts were on the vampire who had visited him. For some reason the name ‘Whitlock’ looks familiar to him. He had heard it from somewhere.
His back of head began to hurt him, he opened his browser and typed in ‘Whitlock’ but to his surprise nothing associated with that name came up, in fact it came up blank. Nothing. It was as if the name ‘Whitlock’ didn’t exist.
He quickly typed ‘Vlad Whitlock’ and it was exactly the same thing. How come the vampire who is a businessman like himself is not on Google search? Or was he missing something?
At that moment a message from his Gmail account came and he rolled his eyes knowing who it was. Couldn’t this stupid hacker let him be and breathe forever. He should just tell the hacker to go to hell. He opened the message and read the content.
He sprang up to his feet almost immediately, his eyes round like sauce. He had forgotten to pick up Samira like they’d discussed last night. His thoughts have been filled up with Romulus and now this Vlad who irks him.
He made sure his car key and phone was with him and left the office. He was going to inform his father about the visit of Vlad Whitlock, the old man must have heard that name if not, well, he is going to investigate it himself.
Reaching his car and was about to open the driver’s side when he stopped all of a sudden and brought out his phone to read the message slowly this time around. He almost staggered when he read the message twice. His brain didn’t kick in immediately when he first read the email. In fact he had seen the name ‘Samira’ and it quickly reminded him of his mate.
“Impossible.” he whispered almost to himself and entered his car before driving off towards Eleanor’s home. So engrossed was he with the thought of his son being the hacker who had tried to hack into the Wilderwood company account that he didn’t see a black pickup truck following him.

Leander Wilderwood Office:
Leander Wilderwood was seated in his office typing on the laptop in front of him; on his table when his secretary, a human female secretary, informed him about his visitor who wants to discuss business with him.
“Do I have any appointments with him?” Leander asked.
“No sir, he just came this morning.”
“How many appointments do I have today?” Leander demanded as he concentrated on what he was typing.
“You have about four sir. One around 10am, the second around 12pm, the third around 2pm and the last one 3pm sir.” The secretary answered quickly. Thankfully, she had known off hand the time of his appointments.
“Okay, tell him if he can wait till 4pm then I will give him a listening ear or else fix an appointment with him.” Leander instructed and the lady nodded her head before hurrying out of the office to go back and inform the mask man.
Leander felt something was off when he saw Hannah, his human secretary, through his glass door as she halts in her movement and isn’t moving or blinking at all.
That prompted him to stop what he was doing and stood up from where he was and was about to leave his office when he heard a voice behind him.
“You should know I don’t like waiting. I am Vlad Whitlock by the way.” Vlad introduces himself.
Leander turned around quickly and saw a masked man sitting calmly on one of his visitors’ chairs. He wasn’t afraid of the Vampire, rather he was angry.
“I don’t care how you came right into my office, in fact I don’t wish to know your name. Just leave the same way you came in and redo what you did.”
“Hmm,” Vlad mused. “Your secretary told me what you had told her and I got annoyed. I am trying to bring you a beautiful business that would profit you and this company if we collaborate together.”
“First of all, we of the Wilderwood don’t associate with the likes of you, you know what I mean. I know that you like being hidden with your mask on your face but that mask didn’t cover the stretch oozing from you.” Leander told him, squeezing his face.
“But just in case your dumb brain didn’t catch up to what I said, it means I don’t do business with vampires; we the Wilderwood don’t do business with Vampires.” He added with a wide smile
“Do you know who I am?” Vlad Whitlock asked angrily.
“Do I look like someone who cares? Look here ‘who I am’, time is money for me and unlike you who thinks you are the only one that can appear out of the blue in someone’s office, I have got things to do now.” he said dismissing Vlad and going back to his seat to continue what he was doing. Totally ignoring Vlad, focusing on his laptop as if someone isn’t sitting in front of him.
