“It died? What do you mean it died. Did you check well?!”. The Crown Prince questioned with widened eyes as he stood up to the physician who shifted backwards.

“Your majesty. I did…I really checked and checked. It’s your heir we’re talking about here how will I be so negligent with that.

The baby couldn’t…survive your majesty”. The physician muttered as he shook and the Crown Prince only looked down as he was completely confused, with his eyes restlessly roaming around.

“You may leave”. He muttered.

“I’ll give the servants the lady’s medicine’s and a note of how it should be given to her every day on my way out”. The physician said.

“Just drop it on the table I’ll do it myself”. The Crown Prince muttered and the Physician nodded as he walked to the table with his box.

Then he dropped the medicines in different small white bottles, and then a note gently on the table right next to Mulan’s bed, before bowing and running out in sharp speed.

Then the Crown Prince turned his gaze to Mulan’s unconscious figure as his eyes held emotions he couldn’t fathom.

“In all sense you still couldn’t save him? Why? All the risk you took and nothing to show for it?!!!”. The Crown Prince yelled in unexplainable anger as he glared at Mulan.

But then realization hit him and he turned away from her.

“Why am I mad at her? I’m the devil here. I pushed her away at a time so crucial. I forced her to unknowingly take the life of our unborn child. I’ve never felt so irresponsible in my entire existence”. The Crown Prince muttered to himself.

And then he turned softly to Mulan.

“What will I say to you? How will I tell you that the baby you took so much risk to protect still couldn’t survive? If I hadn’t forced you to terminate the pregnancy then you wouldn’t have ran away. I hurt you and I killed our baby”. The Crown Prince said downcast as he sat on the bed right next to Mulan’s unconscious body.

Then he took her hand, folding it warmly into his as he stared sadly at her.

“Forgive me red flower. I still couldn’t be a better mate to”. He muttered in a hush tone.

“It’s not fully your fault. The curse is partly to be blamed also”. A voice said as a mysterious wind blew right behind Ocean and he knew who owned the voice.

“What curse? The Alpha royal love curse has nothing to do with safe child birth. I was birthed amidst my parents fights. Why does my child’s own has to be different?”. The Crown Prince questioned with furrowed eyebrows.

He hated where all this was leading and it was vivid.

“Not that curse. Didn’t you claim the Rogue Kingdom unofficially? That curse has been broken. I’m talking about the secret curse I placed on you five months back. Back when you killed your mate and I told you, I cursed you but it won’t be known to you yet. Well now you have it”. The moon goddess whispered and the Crown Prince instantly turned to face his back where he was sure her voice came from.

“You cursed me because I treated her awfully and you also gave her the right to chose a mate and made me struggle so much to get her to accept me back as her mate.

Isn’t that enough sign to you that I’ve changed and ready to protect instead of kill her like in the past? How come that curse from five months ago is still valid?!”. The Crown Prince shouted in rage and the moon goddess only let out a little chuckle.

“Ofcourse it’s still valid. That’s why it’s a curse. And do you want to know what exactly is the curse. You both might be mates, but she’ll never be able to birth you a child. Any other lady can, be it a servant, a vampire or an Alpha!
