Nellie’s eyes opened and she sit up on the bed, she look around and saw Olivia sleeping on the couch in the room soundly.
“Aahhh!” Nellie exhaled, she remembered passing out at the cottage but then her twins left, where are they now or did London caught them again.
She remembered Jewel and how she talked to her earlier and hot tears poured out of her eyes, she would never believe Jewel could do such a thing to her, not after everything she had been doing for her.
“Jewel why?” She muttered and tears flowed extremely out of her eyes.
“Sis you’re awake” she heard Olivia’s voice and she look up to see her in front of her.
“Yeah, what happened to me, I mean where is my twins?” She asked and she fold her lips.
“Uuurrrmm Melinda developed a cold but she is fine” Olivia said.
“And Melissa, where is she?” She asked.
“Sis Melissa is…..is….she is in the next ward and she is at the point of death” Olivia said and she stood.
“What?” She asked.
“Yeah, I don’t know what happened to her but…..” Nellie run out of the ward and run into the next ward and really Melissa is there crying with Chelina and Gerardo trying to stop her.
“Big daddy I don’t want to die!” She cried and Gerardo stroke her hair.
“You won’t die okay, you will be fine” he said but she continued crying.
“Melissa!” Nellie called walking to her and when she set her eyes on her she start crying loudly.
“Mommy!” She cried and Nellie hugged her.
“The doctor said am going to d!e” she said.
“No no…..
“He said I will die anytime from now but Mommy, I don’t want to die, please save me I don’t want to d!e, I want to be with you forever, please don’t let me d!e” she said and Nellie start crying again understanding what’s wrong with her.
It’s definitely cancer or brain tumor.
“You will be fine baby, you will be fine, nothing will happen to you, am here for you, am here for you baby, you won’t die” Nellie said and she nodded stopping her tears, Nellie continued carrying her till she slept off and she dropped her on the bed and covered her with the duvet.
“What’s wrong with her Mom?” Nellie asked Chelina.
“The doctor said she developed bl–0d cancer due to too much maltreatment and much take of unhealthy and harmful food” Chelina said.
“She is allergic to flour and citrus but I guess that’s her daily food cause London don’t care about her” Gerardo said and another round of tears fell out of her eyes.
“Why was I born, when all I’ve been experiencing all my life is suffering, I can’t even rest, when I thinks One problem is down another one will come up again and as if that wasn’t enough, I dragged my kids into it, why must they have same allergies as me, am such a useless mother” Nellie said and Chelina placed her hand on her shoulder.
“It’s okay, don’t say that, this is none of your fault, your allergies already died down and them having it is none of your fault ok” Chelina said but she continued crying and Gerardo hugged her.
“C’mon daughter don’t say that, I Kno you are blaming yourself for passing your allergies to them but just know that saying that makes me feel bad cause I passed that allergies to you, so stop okay” Gerardo said and she nodded.
The ward door opened and Kingsley walk in slowly, Nellie look up and when she saw him she tried stopping herself from crying but she just can’t.
“We will get going” Gerardo said and left with Chelina.
“Wifey!” Kingsley called and she start hiccupping.
“C’mon don’t cry, am here!” He said but yet tears flowed out of her eyes and she start another round of tears.
“Kingsley, Jewel, Jewel betrayed me, she left with London” she said and Kingsley hugged her.
“It’s okay, she will take care of everything, don’t hate her” Kingsley said stroking her hair as she continued crying.
