Every eyes fell on Kyros and Diora when they returned into the dinning hall, their hands interlocked.
“You two took a lot of time to come back” Lilian said.
“I guess” Kyros nodded and glanced at Diora before letting go of her hand, she picked up her bag.
“You two are leaving?” Hailey asked.
“Yes mother” Diora said.
“Diora, you should visit us alone sometimes” Nisha said.
“Oh..I should” Diora muttered.
“Unless your husband don’t want you to” Nisha said and glanced at Kyros.
Diora smiled without saying anything.
Kyros greeted his father and walked out, then she followed.
They were about entering the car when they heard Kitra’s voice,calling on Kyros.
“Brother wait!”
Kyros and Diora turned together at once.
“I want to speak with my brother alone” Kitra said sternly at Diora.
Diora let go of Kyros’ hand and entered the car.
“What is it?” Kyros asked.
“Can you at least reply to my texts, try at least” Kitra said.
“You don’t go straight to the point” Kyros replied and she groaned.
“You treat your wife better than your sister” She rolled her eyes.
“Don’t be dramatic, what do you want?” Kyros asked.
“So, there’s this bag I want to buy badly. I’m sure if I take the money from my account,I will go bankrupt” Kitra muttered and looked away.
Kyros scoffed.
“Text me your account number and the amount you want” He said.
“You’re the best!” Kitra raised her two thumbs up.
Kyros ignored her drama and entered the car.
“Byeee!!” She waved and waited till the car drove out of the house completely.
“You okay?” Kyros asked Diora.
She nodded.
“Spill it out” Kyros groaned.
“It’s nothing” Diora said and Kyros looked at her.
“What, do you want money too?” He asked and Diora shook her head.
“You can tell me if you need anything, you know that right?”
She nodded.
“Then tell me what’s wrong” Kyros said.
“It’s…about Kitra” Diora mumbled and bit her lip.
“What about her”
“She doesn’t like me” Diora sighed.
“So??” Kyros frowned.
“She’s your sister, and she doesn’t like me…”
“Then don’t like her either” he cut in.
“I can’t…”
“Don’t stress it Diora, focus on me, alone” Kyros said.
Diora sighed and nodded.
“But tell me if she’d giving you a hard time, if anyone’s doing anything to you, tell me” He told her and she smiled.
“I will” She muttered.
“Good”
