A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL : CHAPTER 141 – 150

I took a shuddering breath, my vision blurring with the weight of his words. “They wanted children… they wanted a family…” I choked out, my voice breaking as I tried to make sense of it all. “But what kind of monster could tear that apart?”

For a brief moment, I thought I saw something flicker in his eyes—something like regret, or maybe just a shadow of something he once felt. But it passed as quickly as it had appeared, leaving me staring into the same cold, unfeeling expression.

“It was what had to be done,” he said, his tone final, as though I should just accept it and move on.

But I couldn’t accept it. I couldn’t accept that my life, my family, all the pain and suffering I had endured, had been nothing more than a consequence of his selfishness, his thirst for power and control.

The tears came freely now, each one a testament to the years of grief, the lost moments, the memories I would never get back.

“You destroyed everything,” I whispered, my voice breaking under the weight of my despair. “You took everything from me. I hate you.”

Lucifer’s gaze softened just a little, though he said nothing in response. For a moment, I thought he might actually apologize, might actually say something that would ease even a fraction of the ache inside me.

But instead, he just stood there, silent, as though my hatred meant nothing, as though I was the one at fault for feeling anything at all.

I took a step back, the space between us feeling like a chasm that could never be crossed. “You may have all the power in the world,” I told him, my voice shaking but determined. “But you’ll never own me.”

With that, I turned but before I could leave, he held my hand, stopping me ” am so tired of this hate game of yours selene ”

I tried to pull away, but his grip was firm, immovable. His gaze burned into mine, intense and unapologetic, devoid of any hesitation.

“is about time you give me what’s mine” he murmured, his tone low and commanding.

My heart pounded as I glared at him, a surge of anger and frustration welling up in my chest. Before I could respond, his hand rose, brushing over my shoulder.

His fingers caught the edge of my shirt, and with a swift, almost effortless motion, he tore it open. Shock mixed with defiance in my expression, and I could feel his eyes studying every flicker of emotion in my gaze.

I barely had a moment to react before he did the same with my trousers, his hands deft and confident as if he’d anticipated every move I might make.

I was left vulnerable, but I stood my ground, refusing to show the fear that twisted within me. I lifted my chin defiantly, meeting his gaze with steady resolve.

Cold crept into my naked body, he stood there watching me closely, fear slowly creep into my heart, the thought of him forcing himself on me was horrible.

He cup my face with his hand, forcing me to look at him ” I told you didn’t I” no emotion was in his eyes, they were completely dark ” I will make you mine, this night”

” Don’t you dare ”

He move closer ” either you accept it or you cry over it” his tone has final ring to it, my heart pound with fear.

SELENE FROWNED.

His grip was like iron, unyielding as he pulled me closer. I could feel his breath against my skin, warm and unsettling. My instincts kicked in, and I tried to pull away, but every movement felt like fighting against stone. Panic surged through me as I pressed my hands against his chest, trying to push him back, but he didn’t budge.

“Stop,” I managed to whisper, my voice wavering. “Let me go.”

He tilted his head, a faint smirk playing on his lips, as though he found my struggle amusing—or worse, futile. His hand tightened on my arm, and in one swift motion, he spun me around, pushing me toward the bed. I stumbled, catching myself just in time, but before I could turn, his hand was on my shoulder, pressing me down.

Desperation filled me, and I fought harder, twisting my body, clawing at his arm with every bit of strength I could muster. “No!” My voice rose, but he only seemed more determined, more resolute.

With every ounce of energy, I tried to kick, to scramble away, but he was always one step ahead, his movements impossibly swift, trapping me, caging me. My heart pounded painfully in my chest, terror mixing with the anger that surged within me.

He looked so determined to have me.
