A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL : CHAPTER 241 – THE END

I focused on the bond I shared with Selene. I could feel her presence, faint yet undeniable, guiding me toward our home.

The moment I stepped into the familiar warmth of our home, my heart thundered in my chest. Shadows danced in the corners, but they were nothing compared to the radiance of Selene standing before me.

Time seemed to freeze as I took in the sight of her—her hair cascading like dark silk, her eyes wide with disbelief and joy.

“Lucifer?” she breathed, her voice trembling with emotion. It was the sound I had longed for, a melody that anchored me amidst the chaos of my existence.

Without thinking, I closed the distance between us, wrapping my arms around her, pulling her close.

The warmth of her body against mine felt like a balm to my soul, soothing the ache that had lingered during my time in Hell.

“I’m here,” I whispered into her hair, feeling the familiar scent of jasmine envelop me. “I’ve missed you so much.” My voice cracked, the weight of my emotions spilling over as I pressed my forehead against hers, savoring the moment.

Selene melted into me, her arms tightening around my waist as if she feared I would vanish again. I buried my face in her neck, inhaling the sweet fragrance of her skin, the warmth radiating from her body. “I can’t believe it’s really you,” she murmured, her voice muffled against my shoulder.

“I thought horrible things” I said, my heart aching with the memory of the deal I had made. The five days apart felt like an eternity, and now that I was back, I couldn’t bear the thought of letting her go.

We stood there, wrapped in each other’s arms, the world outside fading away. I kissed her forehead, then her cheeks, drinking in the sensation of her skin against mine, the softness of her lips. “I’m so happy to touch you again,” I breathed, the words pouring from my heart. “I never want to feel that distance again.”

“I was so afraid,” she admitted, her voice trembling. “I didn’t know if I would see you again, so soon. I thought—”

“Shh,” I interrupted, cupping her face in my hands. “You don’t need to worry about that anymore. I’m here, and I’m staying. I won’t let anything come between us.”

” But how? Did God forgive you? Did he change the deal?” She search my eyes for answers and I smile

” Indeed ”

Her eyes glistened with unshed tears, and I brushed my thumb across her cheek, feeling the warmth of her skin.

The weight of my absence hung heavily in the air, but at that moment, all I could think about was how much I loved her.

We held each other for what felt like an eternity, the world around us fading into oblivion. I could feel the steady rhythm of her heartbeat against my chest, grounding me in a way I had longed for.

Each heartbeat reminded me of the life we had created, the love that had brought us together against all odds.

“I never want to let you go,” I murmured, my voice thick with emotion. “Not now, not ever.”

“Neither do I,” she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. “You don’t know how much I needed you. I felt so lost without you.”

I kissed her again, this time deeper, pouring every ounce of longing and love into that one moment.

The taste of her lips ignited a fire within me, a reminder of everything we had fought for.

I pulled back slightly, searching her eyes, wanting her to see the truth in mine. “You are my everything, Selene. You, only you.” I smile ” and my child too”

As if on cue, Selene stepped back, her eyes sparkling with determination. “Wait here. I’ll bring her.”

Before I could respond, she rushed toward the bedroom, and my heart raced with anticipation. This would be the first time I held my daughter in my arms, and the thought sent a wave of emotion crashing over me.

I paced the room, my mind racing with thoughts of what it would mean to finally meet her. I had fought through Hell, made sacrifices, and now I was on the brink of holding the embodiment of our love.
