A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL : CHAPTER 71 – 80
LUCIFER FROWN.
The moment I stepped out of Selene’s room, the smile I had worn for her benefit vanished from my face. The satisfaction I’d felt moments before was quickly replaced with cold annoyance, the pleasant buzz of control and power slipping through my fingers thanks to an all-too-familiar presence downstairs.
I moved swiftly down the steps, each one echoing louder than the last, and there, by the fireplace, was Gabriel. Always so self-righteous.
“If it isn’t my brother,” I muttered, my voice low and full of irritation. My gaze settled on him, and my mood soured further. “You need to stop coming to my place without an invitation.”
Gabriel stood there, his arms crossed, face as unreadable as always. “You need to go back to Hell,” he said, his voice laced with that typical heavenly righteousness that grated on my nerves.
I let out a sharp, humorless laugh, striding over to the table where my half-eaten meal awaited me. Without sparing him a glance, I picked up my fork and continued eating, chewing each bite deliberately slow.
“And why should I care?” I asked between bites, never breaking my casual, defiant posture. “It’s not like I created Hell.”
“Lucifer!” Gabriel’s voice boomed, the name a thunderous crack through the room.
My eyes finally snapped up to meet his. His fists were clenched, his expression one of barely controlled fury. Oh, how he loved to preach.
“Mind your tone, Gabriel,” I said, my voice dropping to a dangerous whisper, one that could silence a room. “You don’t want to get me angry.”
For a long moment, we stared at each other—two sides of the same coin. His righteousness against my rebellion.
His anger against my indifference. But I could see it—he was seething, his moral superiority barely holding his temper in check.
Finally, I sighed, dropping the fork back onto the plate with a faint clatter. “Why don’t you go back to your daddy and leave me be?” I said, leaning back in my chair.
Gabriel’s jaw tightened, and I saw the war raging behind his eyes. Oh, how much he wanted to retaliate, to lash out at me, but he knew better.
“You should keep the other angels that followed you down in control,” he said, his voice strained with barely suppressed anger. “They’re doing horrible things.” He frown ” you will be returning to hell soon” his tone as a definite tone to it.
I raised an eyebrow at that, feigning interest. “I’ll take care of it.”
The instant I said that, Gabriel gave one last look of disapproval before vanishing, leaving the room in eerie silence. Good riddance.
I leaned back in my chair, closing my eyes briefly. My fingers tapped against the armrest, trying to dispel the growing irritation that now gnawed at me. **He always knows how to ruin my mood.** Especially after a moment like I’d just had with Selene. Her flushed face, the way her body responded to my touch—it had been perfect. I had her right where I wanted her, pliant, confused, and then Gabriel had to swoop in and spoil it.
I clenched my teeth, feeling the tension radiate through my body, the ache of unfulfilled desire burning through my veins. Still hard, I stood up, making my way upstairs, back toward my chambers where I could finally release this built-up frustration.
As I opened the door, a slow smile crept back across my face at the sight in front of me. Mirabel was lying on the bed, completely naked, her body bathed in the soft glow of candlelight.
She looked up at me, her lips curling into a seductive smile, and I felt the last remnants of my irritation ebb away.
“Why do you always look so perfect?” I murmured, my voice low and smooth as I approached her.
She laughed softly, her eyes trailing down my body as I began to undress, the belt first, then my trousers, followed by my shirt. Each article of clothing fell to the floor with purpose, as my eyes never left hers.
“I’m always ready for you, my lord,” she whispered.
I climbed onto the bed, hovering above her for a moment, savoring the way her breath quickened under my gaze. My lips ghosted over her skin, brushing lightly against her neck, her collarbone, teasing her with the promise of more. I loved the way she squirmed beneath me, her anticipation thick in the air.
Finally, I let my mouth find her neck, kissing, nibbling, then biting softly enough to draw a moan from her lips. My hands moved to her hips, gripping them tightly as I positioned myself between her legs.
The second I entered her, a deep groan escaped me, the sensation washing away the last of the tension Gabriel had left behind. Mirabel arched her back, her fingers digging into the sheets as I began to move, slow and deliberate. I could feel her body responding to me, her breathing growing more ragged, her moans louder with each thrust.
“Lucifer,” she breathed, her hands sliding up to grip my shoulders.
I quickened my pace, the heat between us building, my need for release driving me forward. I look at her, for some reason, hating seeing her face, I close my eyes, all I could see was Selene… Her flushed face, the way she bite her lips.
I pulled back slightly, more in shock and surprise….. my eyes meeting Mirabel’s, dark and full of desire. I could see the worship in her gaze, the need, the submission, and it only fueled the fire inside me.
My hand moved down between us, my fingers finding that sweet spot that made her gasp. I played with her, teasing her, until her body tensed and she came apart beneath me.
For a moment, we lay there, tangled in each other, our breaths ragged and uneven. But even as I lay there, my mind drifted back to Selene.
Mirabel was a good distraction, but she wasn’t the one I wanted. ” Get out ” Mirabel immediately did as I said, the moment the door close shut, I frown…. This is not enough, I could feel myself getting even more hard at the thought of Selene
It was the first time I could not release, all I could think of was burying myself into Selene, i simply can not get her out of my head. I want her badly, I need her.
Selene, innocent, untouched, shy, soft, tight and mine.
What is happening with my body, am the devil for goodness sake.
