The Empress angrily ran to her, but Concubine Yan elegantly brought out her wooden fan and began fanning herself gracefully.
“You might hate my actions. But your safety is what we the members of the court are trying to protect”. Concubine Yan said before walking away and the Fourth prince smirked at the Empress Dowager before following her.
“You’re the new monarch. You can’t go about breaking the rules your majesty. You’ve already neglected the people and their sufferings, you stopped sending soldiers to war because you didn’t want to pay them for fighting for our nation and the ones that got injured in the previous war weren’t given medical support payment because you didn’t want to waste money in the royal treasury.
We ignored all that because we thought your grandson’s death might have taken a huge toll on you—
“You lie!! He’s not dead!! I didn’t suffer all those years just so he could die so cruelly at a young age!!”. Empress Dowager said and the ministers sighed deeply at her statement.
“Your majesty. If you continue like this. If you continue neglecting your duties and letting us loose more states and villages, then we’ll have to make you step down your majesty! We were lucky not have Rogue attacks lately, but the Omegas? Loosing states to them is so shameful! So please sit up your majesty!!!—
“Don’t tell me what to do!!”. The Empress Dowager shouted.
“This kingdom won’t move forward as long as my grandson is still unconscious because only he can rule not only this kingdom but the whole realm!!”. The Empress Dowager shouted angrily and the ministers exchanged glances and the Second Prince cleared his throat before stepping forward.
“Don’t blame for trying to take your place as the next Ruler of this great kingdom. Your majesty”. The Second Prince said calm but decisively as he stared sternly at the Empress Dowager who broke into loud laughter.
“What does a weak Second Prince know about ruling a kingdom?! He’s even more weak now and has the power of a mere human!!”. The Empress grinned while the Second Prince smirked at her.
“Too bad we’ve already made our decision your majesty. The Second Prince would have been crowned the next Emperor! Weak or not weak if not for the fact that he had been unconscious for weeks!
And now that he has finally recovered, you his substitute can finally stepped down so we don’t publicly snatch the Crown from you, your majesty!”. The Prime minister said and the Empress’s eyes widened as she glanced sharply at all of them in shock.
“You’ve all made your mind to dethrone me. Then I’ll be the shortest ruler in the history of this kingdom. I spent only two months on the throne!!”. The Empress shouted loudly in frustration.
“You should have taken your title and duty serious then. By tomorrow noon! A new Ruler sent to free the Alpha Kingdom from the shackles of poverty will be crowned and I expect everyone part of the royal court to be present there!”.
The Prime minister said and in horror the Empress Dowager broke down to the ground, with tears dripping fron her eyes.
Then the Second Prince smiled at her before walking away and all the ministers followed him from behind including Minister Zhang who shook his head lowly.
‘I keep sending the Ex-Crown Prince letter, but he has never replied any. Is he still alive, because things at this palace keeps getting worst!’. Minister Zhang thought as he walked.

“All through the night. Now it’s morning but still no news about my son. Does this mean I’m heirless, will my kingdom be the first to be taken over by the Vampires?!
I’ve shamed my ancestors!”. The Rogue King spat bitterly as he kept pacing around while his ministers stood staring as worried at him.
