“I’ll be quick and straightforward! And I want no other reply from you all, than YES YOUR MAJESTY!! Because it’s your duty to protect this kingdom and I find it abominable if I’m to beg you for it!

If you can’t do anything good to bring us victory in this war then just die!!”. Mulan snapped angrily and the Soldiers flinched startled, while Mira and the general turned to her.

That particular soldier wasn’t done talking when one of his colleagues unsheathed his sword and slayed his head off his neck.

The others who also spoke Ill about Mulan made to run away, but they were killed by their fellow soldiers in a gruesome manner.

Both Mulan and Mira’s eyes widened in horror.

“What kind of policy do you give your soldiers? Killing themselves is outrageous!”. Mulan turned to the general who shook his head.

“The-they’re just following orders. Even I myself I’m not safe if I disrespect you”. The General said and Mulan instantly got winged of whose orders it was.

And she sighed as her gaze traveled far to the Crown Prince’s tent.

‘You just spent a day here and contaminated everyone with your cruel actions’. She thought before turning to the waiting men.

“You all shouldn’t worry too much. You only need to focus on our defense right here in this kingdom. I need all the walls of our kingdom guarded right from very early tomorrow morning.

Stand guard and alert the general if you find anything suspicious approaching. I don’t plan on waiting for them to attack us. We’ll make the first and final move of killing the third Prince before he arrives here.

Sky, Mira, I and a few soldiers will set for the road first thing in the morning and kill the third Prince while the rest of you remain here with the general and keep watch in case the third Prince sent any secret soldiers to attack the kingdom in our adsence.

Am I understood?”. Mulan said and everyone satisfactorily bowed.

“Yes your majesty!!!!”. They chorused in relief, while the general who also loved the idea still faked a troubled look as he turned to Mulan.

“But you can’t go and fight the third Prince your majesty. It’s our duty and you’re pregnant. What will we tell the Crown Prince once he wakes up? Right men?”. The general asked turning to the Soldiers who glared at him before replying.

“Yes. Your safety is our first priority your majesty!”. They all chorused as they gave the general side eye and Mulan rolled eyes as she began walking back to her tent.

“Do as you please then!”. She hissed and the general’s eyes widened, as he ran after her.
