Few assassins about ten of them that were still alive joined the Crown Prince protecting him from behind when they saw him leaving, but they were met with a bigger obstacle when they found the Palace gate widely open with the Emperor, Queen Mother and the ministers standing right in front of it, and worst a very wide army stood behind them ready with their swords and spears to attack, while most of the Soldiers already shifted into their wolves.
And the Crown Prince with his hand around the neck of one of his assassins that helped him walk, broke into a loud creepy laughter and the Emperor smirked.
“What’s the problem Crown Prince? Where are you heading to so late at night?”. The Emperor asked and the Crown Prince smiled back at him.
“You’re really smart. You’re just going to take advantage of my current state–
“I can do anything to keep the throne of this kingdom safe from a wolfless tyrant like you!! Now, right here, right now! I Emperor Calcem Alpha! Hereby dethrone! Ocean Alpha, from his Crown Prince title! He’s nothing but just the first Prince of the Imperial Cave kingdom as from now on!! And if you don’t accept, you’ll die right here tonight!!”. The Emperor shouted and instantly the Soldiers began shouting loudly as they sang war songs.
The Crown Prince instantly scoffed as he removed his hand from the assassin to stand on his own, as he staggered with a creepy smile on his face.
“When have you ever considered me as a Crown Prince in that head of yours. Now tell me something before you kill me, where in the moon’s realm did you bury my parents?!
If I don’t get my answer now, then today surely won’t be the last day you’ll be seeing me. Where are my parents body Calcem!!!”. Ocean shouted loudly and instantly one of the ministers moved a little further.
“Your majesty just tell the Emperor you also accept the dethronement! Your entire family’s generation can’t just die like that—
“Shut your mouth minister Zhou. It’s my business not yours, If I chose to remain the Crown Prince till death then it’s my darn business!! Tell your wretched Emperor to release my parents body for me! Then I’ll happily die and stop causing you all so much insecurities”. The Crown Prince seethed with gritted teeth as he tried so hard to stand straight.
While the Emperor grinned.
“He’s not ready to renounce his title yet Zhuo. I know you and most of my ministers were loyal to his late father and that’s why you all sympathize greatly with this tyrant over here, but now you all can see, I can’t just hate my brother’s son for no reason”. The Emperor said as he glared at Ocean who smirked at him.
“I need the Crown Prince’s head to serve as a deterrent to any upcoming tyrant of the Royal lineage!!”. The Emperor shouted loudly and instantly all the multitudes of soldiers shouted loudly as together with their weapons they charged towards the Crown Prince while the Emperor and his ministers went to stand at a safer spot.
“So many men to take down a suffering First Prince”. Ocean scoffed as his legs finally gave out and he fell to the ground, worst his neck pain returned and in frustration he brought out a knife from his pocket to slit his throat, while his men dealt with the Emperor’s soldiers.
Though his men were more skilled, they were outnumbered by the Emperor’s men and in no time the Emperor’s men soon gathered forces and began killing the Crown Prince’s men and instantly two of the Assassins ran to the Crown Prince who’s neck was now bleeding slightly as he hoped it helped calm his tight neck pain.
“I’ll guard you. Take the Crown Prince out of here!!”. One of the Assassins shouted as he stood guard while the other nodded as he instantly carried the Crown Prince up on his back, then with the other guarding him they began running out of the palace gate.
“Catch him! He’s trying to escape!!”. The Emperor shouted as he pointed on the runaway Prince, whose assassins already put him up on a horse and began hopping out of the main palace gate.
The soldiers began chasing them as they shot arrows in pursuit of the Crown Prince, and one of the arrows met one of the men trying to protect the Prince as he fell to the ground dead, while the other successfully ran out of the gate with the Prince still on his back.
But not too late did they run out of the palace did the Emperor sent numerous soldiers on horses after them.
