While Mira and Sky instantly exchanged glances, Mulan glanced at the Prince but he didn’t bother to spare her a glance.
She looked around and noticed Caspian and his mate were both absent.
‘Lucky them. They’re so confident about their bond, unlike me whose mateless’. Mulan thought as she frowned at the Crown Prince.
Soon servants began approaching them with big leaves in their hands.
“To prove you and your partner are really mates, you both have to touch the leaves at the same time, once the leaves color turns from green to light blue it means you’re mate!
But if the leaves withers and changes to colour yellow! Then you both are not only confirmed to not be mates! But also disqualified before the first round even commences”. The announcer said and Mulan instantly glanced at Ocean.
“If we both get disqualified then we’ll have no choice than to go with plan B”. The Crown Prince whispered to Sky who nodded as he watched the row in front of them get examined, and by now up to twenty couples were already disqualified.
‘He wasn’t even sure, but he looks so confident?! If we get disqualified then I won’t have a mate and end up dying’. Mulan thought as she stared at the Crown Prince.
“Gosh! These Alphas are so tricky, do they think this can stop me?”. Kaidos scoffed secretly from where he stood beside Ming who faced him.
He was on the same row, with the Crown Prince and Mulan, including Sky and Mira.
“What are we going to do, your majesty?”. Ming asked and Kaidos faced her.
“Just place your hand on top of mine once it’s time”. Kaidos said as he wore a black glove on his hand.
Soon the servants approached their row and one servant approached each couple on the row.
Kaidos smirked as he almost touched the leaves but the Servant shook his head.
“Take off the glove sir, it’s against the rules”. The servant said and Kaido’s eyes widened.
“Do you know I have an ugly wound—
“Take off the glove or leave voluntarily sir”. The servant said and Kaidos angrily took off the glove while Ming glanced at him.
“Kill every eligible contestant if we don’t qualify”. Kaidos said in sign language with his hand and Ming nodded, using one hand to bring out her sword while the other hand together with Kaido’s touched the leaf.
At the same time, Mulan and the Crown Prince, together with Mira and Sky also touched the leaves in front of them.
With Mulan’s hand on the Crown Prince’s, and instantly the bright weather turned into a stormy one, shocking everyone present.
As instantly the color from the leaf began shining so bright it connected with the heavens, causing the Sky to have the same colour and many’s eyes widened more.
While Mulan and the Crown Prince stood looking up at the clouds confused.
