“Is this how you say sorry?”. Mulan asked and the Prince took his gaze from her to the Sky.
“I never say sorry”. He muttered deeply and Mulan returned his bottle back.
“I don’t want it then–
“Why not try to behave, then probably we can co-exist—
“How? And why do I need to go through a lot just for your own good? I want to live my own life too, I’m sick and tired of you and everyone else calling me awful names and treating me like an animal”. Mulan muttered tearfully as she hugged her laps and the Crown Prince turned to her.
“But we’re animals aren’t we? Everyone here in this whole realm are wolves, hence the cruel culture of oppressing the weak”. The Crown Prince replied and Mulan’s gaze instantly met his as she moved closer to him.
“I don’t want to stay here. I hate it in this realm, please let me go”. Mulan pleaded her pleadinhmg eyes staring into his soul and the Crown Prince looked away from her.
“As long as my powers are still with you. Your life is mine as well”. The Crown Prince uttered and Mulan couldn’t have been more sad as she almost went back to crying.
“But we’re going to a better place, you can be free there and move around as you please, but one thing’s sure you can never skip training”. The Crown Prince said and Mulan eyes twinkled.
“Really?! Where’s that? Is it outside the moon realm?”. Mulan asked and the Crown Prince got up offering her his hand.
“You’ll see”. He said his hand outstretched to Mulan who stared puzzly at him.
‘I don’t even know if I should take his hand or not. He’s unpredictable he might blow up again’. Mulan thought as she ignored the Crown Prince’s hand and struggled to get up herself.
But then her ankle that had earlier hit a rock, ached her hard and she lost balance almost falling backwards to the ground but Crown Prince was quick to catch her by the waist, and their eyes locked as he lifted her completely from the ground, carrying her in a bridal style.
“You should have just taken my hand, red flower”. The Crown Prince muttered as he carried her back to where the pallenquin was.
Mulan watched the Crown Prince carry her in shock.
‘Why’s he suddenly cool to me?’. Mulan asked as they walked past shocked Sky and the other guard who quickly turned their backs on them.
‘What’s going on? Did he eat something bad?’. Sky thought in shock as he looked back to confirm he was seeing correctly, but they were already inside the pallenquin and he back with the other guard to climb his horse, shock still consuming him as they resumed their journey.
“Where else?”. The Crown Prince asked after helping shocked Mulan apply ointment on her ankle, where the band he wore on her bruised her.
He looked up at Mulan awaiting her reply, but she was too dazed to utter a word.
‘I was the one who fell, but you’re the one showing symptoms of brain failure’. Mulan thought.
When she finally opened her mouth to answer his question, the Crown Prince gave her the hush sign with his finger, as his eyes scanned through the whole place and Mulan couldn’t help but feel frightened with the sudden tension and then she blinked puzzly as she turned to the window them.
“An arrow”. She mumbled as she stared at the window and the Crown Prince turned to the window.
“A poisonous one”. The Crown Prince added.
And instantly the arrow pierced through the window aiming straight for her chest, when the Crown caught it with his palm and broke it into pieces.
Then more arrows began pouring in and the Crown Prince with his bare hands, formed a whirling strong wind that gathered the poisonous arrows and sent it back out of the pallenquin, straight into the hearts of the sender.
