Sky almost permitted them, but he stopped turning to the Crown Prince who nonchalantly checked the sword he picked from a dead body on the ground and the Crown Prince glanced at him, then he nodded to Sky who nodded back as he finally raised up his hand.
And instantly up to fifty strong assassins in black jumped out from different angles and stood in front of the Crown Prince, shielding him as they caught the Princes and their mates off guard but Caspian grinned loudly.
“Backup?! Okay! Coward!”. Caspian shouted loudly as he grinned and the Crown Prince with a poker face stepped out of his assassin’s protection, with his hand holding the sword behind his back.
“I just thought about it since it’s a one on one bet. While we’re busy, your dogs should also be busy”. The Crown Prince uttered and The Princes except Caspian glared at him.
“I’ll assist him, just stay back”. Sky said to Mulan.
“But how did they know we’ll travel past here? Were we being spied on?”. Mulan asked puzzly and Sky sighed.
“The Crown Prince has sharper eyes when it comes to discovering spies”. Sky replied and Mulan blinked puzzly.
“If we’re not being spied on then why are they here?—
Mulan paused when realization hit her as she turned to face the serious Crown Prince.
‘He set himself up for the throne? Why’s he so ambitious?’. Mulan thought troubly.
“I shouldn’t be the one you protect”. The Crown Prince’s voice came again and instantly all the assassins ran to form a strong circle around Mulan shielding her from external attacks and Mulan’s eyes only widened.
Calista and Caspian frowned at the same time.
As Calista stormed forward in anger.
“Is she that useless?!! How come we over here support our mates, but yours can’t even defend herself?!! How dare you reject me for someone like her?!!!”. Calista shouted angrily and the Fourth Prince’s mate Kyra and Kathara only rolled eyes at her.
“You can’t control your mate? Father was right. I’m more deserving of the throne than you! If you become the Emperor everything will be left for Calista to rule while you only follow her orders like the weakling you are!”. The Fourth Prince spat and the Second Prince glared hard at him.
‘He’s taking so much trouble to protect the girl. Does she have something he wants? All the more reason I should get her once he’s gone’. Caspian thought as he stared suspiciously at Mulan who glared back at him.
“Like I said. It’s a one on one fight. The loser dies and the winner becomes the Emperor”. Ocean said again and Caspian grinned loudly.
Then suddenly he stopped laughing, as his gaze instantly turned a very bright purple.
“Deal!”. Caspian uttered before, and instantly he superspeed to Ocean, as he initiated the first attack.
The other Princes and the ladies forcibly tried to get involved and support Caspian but Sky and a few of the remaining assassins jumped in and kept them busy.
Calista fought with so much anger with her full gaze directed on Mulan who was guarded by the assassins and after taking down one of Sky’s men she wasted no effort in charging towards Mulan but another assasins jumped out of nowhere taking her time.
Caspian stood on the attacking side, as he charged towards the Crown Prince with the aim of stabbing him right on the chest with his poisonous purple sword.
And the Crown Prince stood gallantly not till Caspian smirked mid air as he changed his attack scheme and instead of stabbing, he rolled his sword and instantly a huge sharp purple breeze came out of the sword, hitting the Crown Prince’s chest hard, and he staggered backwards, his hand on his chest as he glared at Caspian who smirked at him.
“A God level Wolf, fighting with a Wolf-less Prince. What a shame to my name, but anything for the throne”. Caspian smirked and then he stabbed the ground with his sword, and a huge tornado came out of it, consuming the whole air as it spinned straight to the Crown Prince, who spinned the sword in his hand to cause his own huge tornado storm and instead of Caspian’s storm swallowing him, it swallowed his storm instead and instantly the two storms dispelled.
