“Hahaha! Good! Very good! I’ll throw a huge banquet for you my son! For the first time in centuries, we’ve seized a village that was once under the Alpha kingdom!
We’ve even retrieved three out of our villages that were once snatched from us by the late Imperial Emperor!! Kaido’s my son! I have a feeling you’ll be the greatest ruler ever to emerge in our kingdom!!
I’m sure you’ll be the only one to unite the whole three kingdoms and become the Sole supreme ruler of this whole moon realm!!”. The Rogue King said grinning loudly and his ministers who were in court with him smiled also.
But Kaidos had a blank look on as he only knelt with his head bowed, not uttering a single word.
He was dressed in a war attire with countless armours on every part of his body, his sword smelt with blood was stuck to his belt also.
“Your majesty! I’ll send the invite for the banquet! And it’ll be held in a grander way! Our Crown Prince deserves the best!!”. A minister spoke and all the others grinned, while the King nodded with a smile in approval.
“Father. You know the only reason why I decided to go to war for the third time this month was because of the promise you made to me”. Kaidos said and the whole court became quiet with no one smiling like earlier and the King’s gaze became angry as he sighed.
“Go then. You have only five minutes to spend there, you should know you’re an engaged man now, we don’t want anything that would make your In-laws get angry”. The King said and Kaidos only bowed before walking out of the court, and outside his new guard (Zone) followed him from behind with a furry coat in his hand, as he made his way to the Palace dungeon.
Walking into the dark dungeon, Kaido’s walk past many cells with crazy prisoners locked in it, without stopping till he got to the one he wanted.
The only cell was located at the far end of the dungeon and was extremely cold.
The moment the guard in charge opened up the cell, Kaidos took the coat from Zone and walked in with it, walking sharply to cover Ming with it.
“You’ve spent an entire month here, under this cold and you still won’t say anything?”. The Crown Prince Kaidos asked in a low voice as he stared at Ming who looked completely pale and her skin was literally freezing.
Ming’s two hands were connected with a chain that was stock to the ceiling, so she was forced to stand for a whole month with her hand up and her legs burning with hurt.
She had multiple cuts of horse whip and hot iron rod on various parts of her body, the white prison robe she wore had blood stains all over it, and her hair was scattered all over her face, as she stared at the Crown Prince with her usual expressionless eyes.
“Wa–ter”. Ming muttered and Kaidos nodded as he turned to Zone who stood behind him.
“Your majesty we were only permitted to see her, we can’t defile the King’s orders and give her water—
Zone wasn’t done talking when Kaidos kicked his tummy, and he groaned out in pain.
“Go get me the water. Quick you asshole!!”. Kaidos shouted angrily and Zone instantly bowed before running out of the cell, then he ran back in with a jar of water and Kaidos instantly took it from him to feed Ming, who gulped down the whole content in one goal and Kaidos only stared pitifully at her, as he handed the empty jar to Zone.
“You still won’t let me cover this whole thing for you? Even though you did it I have many ways to help you deny it. Right now my father and his people are linking a whole lot of stuff together and they now think you were sent by the Sun realm to kill all the three Kings in the Moon realm. They think you’re the one who killed the late Alpha Emperor. Ming don’t stay quiet, let me prove your innocence—
“I don’t deserve your support”. Ming muttered, cutting Kaidos off and he frowned.
