A few months later, Everyone was still mourning Maya’s death, most especially Jayden, he had refused to talk to anyone, all he kept by his side was Hayden, he never let anyone go close to him, and he took all the responsibility by himself, he bath and feed him. he was always moody, no one dare go close to him not even his family.
Every night he drinks and cries bitterly blaming himself for Maya’s death. One night he was seated in the bathtub with water dripping on him and a bottle of alcoholic drink in his hand.
“This is not what you promised me, Maya, you said you never left me, did you lie to me? How do you expect me to cope without you”. he sniffs and sips from his drink.” I missed you, Maya, please come back, I can’t spend another day without you, Hayden yawns for you, I want you “. He sobs and drinks from his drink.” My whole body yawns for you, I miss your touch, your kisses, and your laughter, I am going crazy!”. He grunted angrily as the memory of her death kept flashing in his head. “Maya, please!”.
Diana was in her room sobbing, she couldn’t sleep because the thought of Maya came to her mind.
” This is not what you promised Maya, Jayden hasn’t been himself since you left and Hayden too, they miss you, and I miss you too, You are like a Sister I never had, I miss your words of encouragement, please show a sigh that you are alive, please!”. She sobs.
Suddenly, the photo of her and Maya that they had taken together at her baby shower hung on the wall fell on the floor, She was shocked and rushed to pick it up, so lucky it only had a little crack, she sat on the bed and hugged the picture.
“Is this the sigh? Are you alive?”. She questioned why looking outside the stars.

Jayden was seated on his balcony with Hayden in his stroller sleeping next to him, when his cell phone rang, he saw it was a call from one of his men, he picked it up and was silent, and then he hung up.
Diana was seated in the dining with the girls having a sad discussion about Maya, immediately they stood up as they saw Jayden all dressed up to leave and was with Hayden, they could see the dangerous look on his face
” Hold on to Hayden for me, I will be back”. He said as he gave Hayden to Diana and walked away.
“I wonder where he is rushing to?”. Linda asked.
” He doesn’t look good”. Lucy said and they sighed sadly.

Lucas drove into a hospital with his escort, He left for the doctor’s office where they sat down to discuss
“Is so good to have you back”. Doctor Philip said.
Philip is a best friend to Lucas, both have been best of friends since school, Philip owns a private hospital and he happens to be Lucas’s personal doctor.
” How is she?”. Lucas asked.
“Well, we thank God, she is responding to treatment, we are just waiting for a miracle for her to wake up”. he said and Lucas sighed.
” Can I see her?”.
“Yes, let’s go”. he said as they stood up to leave.
They walked inside the room, Maya was seen laying on the bed with a life-supporting machine fixed on her. Lucas moved closer to her and had a flashback.

During the incident where Maya and Jayden were taken to the bridge, information got to Lucas, he and his men hurry to the scene, they were looking from the other side of the bridge, but it was too late for them as Maya was shot and thrown into the water, Lucas quickly jumped into the river and saw maya going deeper, he swims toward her and pulled her out, so lucky his men came with a boat, they help them up.
” Is she dead?”One of the men asked.
“No, she is unconscious”. Lucas said as he checked her pulse. ” let’s go, we need to take her to the hospital”. He said and they drove off.
They drove to the hospital and Maya was rushed into the emergency room.
“Find the fools that did this and bring them to me”. Lucas said to his men and they left.”F*ck! You have to leave Maya, not for anyone’s sake but for your poor innocent baby”. He said and sat down looking panicked.
Some minutes later, Doctor Philip came over, and Lucas rushed to him.
” Lucas, there is a problem”. Philip said.
“What happened? Is she dead?”.
” No, but she has fifty percent of survival if she is not given blood, she lost too much blood and we need a donor”. He said.
“Oh my gosh, what is her blood type?”
“She is O negative”. he said and Lucas was surprised.” Is everything okay?”.
“She is O negative?” He questioned confusedly and turned to Phillip.”You can use mine, am O negative”.
“How is that possible? Are you two siblings?”. Philip asked confusedly.
” I don’t know, we can talk about that later, what matters now is to save her life”. he said.
“Ok, let’s go”. he said, and they walked away.
An hour later, Lucas came out from the donor room, pondering on Phillips’s words.
” What is going on? Why do I have the same blood type as Maya?”. He asked himself. Then, Philips came over.
“Are you okay?”. he asked jolting
” Um, yes, how is she now?”.
“She is still stable but she fell into a coma”. he said and Lucas sighed sadly.
” Will she survive it?”. He asked curiously.
“Hmm, that I don’t know, let’s just hope for a miracle”. He reassures him.” I was mainly to ask, who is that lady to you?”.
“Um, she is a friend, please do everything possible to save her life”. he said.
” You don’t have to worry about that, I will try my best”. He reassured him.
“I need your help on something”. Lucas said.
” Sure, what is it?”.
“I need a DNA test done on her, I want to confirm something”. he said.
” Are you thinking she might be related to you?”.
“I don’t know, I just want to be sure, the whole thing is confusing”.
“OK, I will get it done, be expecting the results in three days”.
” Sure, thank you very much, Philip”.
“What are friends for”. he said and they smiled at each other.

Two days later, Lucas was with Philip in the office.
“Is the result out?”. He asked.
” Yes, right here”. Phillips said as he gave him the envelope.
Lucas sighed for a while and then opened the envelope, he was shocked to see what was written on it.
“This can’t be?”. He said surprisedly.
” I was shocked as well, I thought you were an only child”. Philip said.
“How is this even possible, How can the DNA be matched, we can’t be siblings”.
” But her DNA matches with yours, it means you both are siblings”. Phillips said and Lucas sighed confusedly.

Lucas sat next to Maya and caressed her hand.
“Now I see the reason why I was attracted to you at first, but I am still not convinced, I just need full proof to know if all this was a mixed-up thing “. He sighs.” You have to wake up soon, there are a lot of questions I need to ask you, Are we truly siblings?”. He sighs confusedly.

Jayden and his men enter a building and walk into a dark room. Amanda was tied to an electric chair, her body was full of bruises. Amanda became scared immediately when she noticed Jayden’s presence and the hard look on his face.
“Jayden, please spare my life, I don’t want to die, this torture is too much”. Amanda begged.
” You should have thought of that before you tortured Maya, I will make you beg for death”. Jayden said angrily and ordered his men to inject her with s*x drive pills. “This is what you will get for messing with me”.
” Please!!”. She begged as she was injected with the pills.
Soon enough, her body started to react to the pills.
“Three of you should lay with her, none stop until she passes out”. He said to three guys behind him.
They obeyed as they dragged Amanda away to another room, Soon, Miranda was dragged in by two guys after she was used by the two men, they sat her down on the chair.
” Please Jayden, spare me this torture”. Miranda said weakly as her body was filled with bruises.
“Really? You are seeking mercy? Did you grant Maya the same mercy? Did you consider having mercy on my son when you threw him down from the building?”. He asked angrily.
” Am sorry”. She sobs.”I can’t take this pain anymore “. She begged.
” Well, not so fast”. He turned on the electric and Miranda was electrocuted until she passed out.”Take her away, when they regain consciousness, give them the s*x pills and all of you will lay with them until they pass out if there are no more condoms left”. He places a bunch of dollars on the table.”Get more”. he said and walked away.

Jayden drove back home and went inside to see Diana arranging food on the dining table.
“You are back”. She said.
” Where is Hayden?”.
“In the room sleeping”. She said and Jayden turned to leave.” I made dinner, you should–“she got interrupted.
“I am not hungry”. He said and walked away.
Diana sighs tiredly as she stares after him.
