Shane held Ellen’s fingers and let her about three to four metres away from the rest.
“What are you talking about?” Ellen asked and Shane ran his fingers into his hair.
“Joey, the day he helped you from Max, did they have any argument?” He asked and Ellen winced and nodded.
“Yes, Joey firmly stood in-between us that day, hold on don’t tell me…” Ellen broke off realizing something, Oh no, Joey provoked him,
“Shane…” Ellen whispered weakly and Shane hardened his Jaw.
“How far is that bastard going to keep going killing people, I can’t believe this” Shane muttered.
“I need to see him, I…”
“Don’t even think of it , I won’t let that “Shane said .
” I can’t go Alone, you should around me, uuh, please I need to know” she begged and he sighed and nodded.
” Fine, but you are not leaving my sight”.
” I promise” she said and Shane balled his fist, Max that bastard.
They heard footsteps and they turned to see two cops walking to them.
“Mr Smith” One of them called and Ellen stared at them
“Detective Bang, thanks for coming even at the late hour” Shane said.
“It is my Job anyways” he said and Shane nodded.
“So what did you find?”
“Nothing, I think the Culprit is really good at cleaning his scene” Bang said and Shane stood upright
“You mean there is no lead?” Shane and Bang sighed.
“The weapon was not found at the scene, nor on the Victim’s body”
“What if this Case is connected to mine?” Shane asked and Bang frowned.
“Are you saying that same Max might be the culprit?”.
“Yes,, because any man that comes between us ends up dying” Ellen said and they turned to her.
“What do you mean? ” Bang questioned.
“The three guys I dated ended up dead a day or some days after, but he is safe and alive even when he is close to me, The death case of two months ago, Dee wang, he tried harassing me at a restaurant when i was with Max, but Dee ended up dead that, Joey saved Max from harassing me at Kongkuk University, but he ended up like this, same as Shane ” Ellen said.
Bang had this unbelievable look on his face while the second Cop with him was jolting down Ellen’s statement.
“Hold on… Are you saying Max might simply have murdered all those men because of you?, including Dee whose case was recently closed? ” Bang asked and Ellen nodded.
” He is definitely a psychopath ” The second cop muttered.
” I have the feeling the man in the Video is him” Shane said and Bang tilted his neck.
” We can’t arrest him without Evidence, so we will start by inviting him for investigation, His replies will make it easier for us to investigate him and find Evidence ” Bang said and Shane nodded in relief.
” And he threatened Ellen’s Mom, she is a witness of him threatening to Kill me and My unborn child In her” Shane said and Ellen Shivered covering her stomach.
” Wh… What?, Eeoma?” She questioned while Bang stared at them confused at the relationship, it is not his business anyways.
“Name of her Mom? ”
” Jenna Kim ” Ellen muttered still staring at Shane.
” Don’t worry, I have moved her from Songdong to here, she is safe” He assured and she breathed out in relief.
“We will have to Question her too” Bang said.
“Of course you can”
Soon his phone beeped and he brought it out of his pocket, it was a text from a private number.
