THERESA’s HOME

“Honey…?” Theresa called shakily as hot tears ran down her cheeks and Chung lips shook.

Vince immediately understood he needed to let the older Adults be and he turned slowly making his way out of the house leaving them alone.

Chung hugged Theresa immediately gathering her into his arms and she cried loudly hugging him back painfully.

“Am sorry” Chung cried rubbing her back painfully,

“Am sorry” he repeated as more tears fell from his eyes.

She broke the hug and touched his face again to be sure it was really him she was holding this time again,

“Oh my God” She cried slowly and he cleaned her tears with his thumb.

“What happened?, I….you were dead, how come you are alive and well after 18 years?” Theresa asked shakily and in more tears

He sighed and held her fingers, he led her to the cushion and sat her down as she still couldn’t take her eyes off him because it was just like a dream to her.

Chung also sat beside her not letting go of her fingers and he smiled cleaning his tears dry with his free hand.

“Tell something!, you are keeping me in suspense!” She almost yelled and he nodded trying to calm her down.

“I…I was never dead” He replied slowly and she frowned.

“How?, I mean…why were you pronounced dead? And your Body….” She broke off when something got into her head.

“You…your body…your face was covered and…” she broke off, what?, that body wasn’t his, it was all staged from the beginning.

“Yes, the body wasn’t, so proof it you weren’t allowed to get to the face, Hanuel had come into the house and…and you done her work, Jonah knew about it and hid me instead because if I was alive and everyone knew.

Hanuel would have found a way to end me completely, so…I woke two years later and was hospitalized for more than an extra year , did Rehab and all…I…I had to start a new life, I wanted to forget everything for my Family’s Safety but It seemed unfair….” Chung said and broke off.

Theresa was looking so shook as ever, like…she couldn’t explain what she was Feeling right now.

“You should have at-least let me know, how…how could you leave us in pain of your loss for years “ she queried shakily and he pressed his lips together.

“Am sorry, it just had to be that way, everyone would have known am alive if I had done that, but trust I have always watched you…I….almost all the time, I have “ Chung said and she frowned , hold on… he was the stalker?.

“Have you been the one stalking me around and always watching me?” She questioned and he nodded smiling slowly.

“Am sorry, that is the only thing I could do, to watch you and the Children”

Theresa sniffed and stared at their hands.

“You…should….gosh, Hanuel that bitch” Theresa cursed and he chuckled.

“Hanuel will be dealt with soon, I promise, I and the kids are working towards it,” Chung stated and she frowned.

“The kids?”

“Yes, she will leave SK soon and I will make the Kids have back what was theirs”

“Won’t it be dangerous?, what if she sets out to murder you all again?, what if….”

“She won’t , she is coming out as an Assemblywoman and she wouldn’t do anything to taint her name, and I won’t let what happened years ago repeat itself” He assured and she smiled sadly and nodded.

“I miss you so Much” Theresa whispered and he smiled and hugged her to himself again.

“I won’t leave your side again, I promise “ Chung said Emotionally and she smiled as he broke the hug.

“You promised, promise you won’t” she said and he nodded.

“So what have you been doing all these years, where you stayed and so on” she asked and he narrowed his eyes around her sitting room.

“I started a little Taebokki restaurant few years ago, but it has grown into a bigger restaurant” He stated and she opened her mouth.

“Really?, “ she questioned and he nodded proudly.

“Have you forgotten business minded and smart your Husband can be?, I touch something small and make it big” Chung said boastfully and Theresa chuckled.

“The sound of that makes me happy, Husband, I am not a widow anymore after all” She shrugged and he rubbed her cheeks.

“Of course, you were never one” Chung uttered and she smiled, it felt like the good old days again and she was glad and grateful.

Chung stared at her face and rubbed her lips with his thumb.

“Our Children are doing so well and it is all you, thank you” Chung whispered and she nodded.

He kissed her lips and she shut her eyes, it was absurd doing this after many years but it doesn’t matter, she missed the old him, the bad man he was.

She held his clothes and he stopped staring at her face , He is still looking as handsome as ever, Even at his age.

“What’s wrong?” Theresa questioned and he sighed.

“I…am I rushing things?” He questioned and she almost rolled her eyes at his question.

She hasn’t lost her touch too, she grabbed his face with her two hands and kissed him hard herself and Chung smiled slowly, that means she was inviting him to her.

Chung held her waist kissing her back and hardening the kiss, he missed her so much, even after his rehab, he couldn’t count the number of women throwing themselves at him, but it has been always her, it has been always Theresa who he felt deep intimacy with, the only person who he had thought of.
