Vince sat at the waiting seat in front of the Operating Theater as he covered his face on his bloody palm, he had cried too much that he is tired of.
He sniffed and wiped his nose, if only he could have his hand on Greg again, he rubbed the back of his neck frustratedly, he heard footsteps and he raised his head up to see His Mom and Dad rushing towards him and he stood immediately.
“Where is Delvin?, where is he?!” Theresa cried loudly holding his arm and Vince folded his lips as he tried to keep himself from tearing up, Chung just stood there staring at him, he seemed shock , So his Bad Omen was about this.
“Am sorry” Vince whispered bending his head,
“What do you mean by you are sorry!, where is your brother?!” Theresa screamed and Chung took her away from Vince holding her to himself.
“That’s enough” Chung said to her trying to calm her down and Vince sniffed.
“It is my Fault, am sorry” Vince said bending his head and Chung breathed out rubbing Theresa’s back as she sobbed on his chest.
“Honey what happened, why is Delvin in there?” Theresa sobbed and he breathed out still trying to calm her down, he stared at Vince sadly.
“Don’t worry, he will come out safely “ Chung said and looked away from Vince.
They heard Running footsteps and Vince turned to see Tessy rushing towards them but paused the moment she was there.
She shook her head in more tears immediately, so Mina did not lie to her, it was true, she stared at Vince from head to Toe cried slowly as she approached.
“Where is Delvin?” She asked slowly, Theresa’s and Chung’s Gaze was now on her and Vince blinked swallowing hard as he pointed at the Operating room door.
“In there, I….I am sorry” Vince said and Tessy dropped on the seat weakly as she cried slowly.
“How did this happen” she cried and Theresa moved away from Ching and went to sit with her.
She held Tessy trying to calm her down, although they were both crying.
“He will be fine Tessy, he will” Theresa assured and Tessy dropped her head on her shoulders.
“Eeomoni” Tessy cried holding Theresa’s hand as she sobbed and Theresa sniffed tapping her.
Chung took Vince from where they and stared at him.
“What do you think you are doing?” Chung questioned and Vince slowly looked, his eyes were red and stuffy.
“Wh…what do you mean?” Vince stuttered slowly and Chung sighed folding his arms on his chest
“Why the hell are you blaming yourself for what happened?, who told you it was your fault?, it was bounded to happen that was why it did, so why?” Chung questioned and Vince wiped his eyes.
“If only he hadn’t jumped in, at least it wouldn’t have to be him, I…I pushed him to be there because of Mina and …”
“Stop it, Mina is not only linked to you, if she is to you then it means she is linked to us all, and I heard she is having your baby which is my grandchild, I would have done the same, I wouldn’t want her kid to be Fatherless, so stop ranting nonsense about your being at fault, okay?” Chung stated and Vince sniffing loudly.
Chung slapped his shoulder twice and looked around.
“Has Greg being Arrested?,what about the documents?” Chung questioned
“He has been taken by the Police and Detective Yung is in hold of the Documents, he is on his way here” Vince replied and Chung nodded sighing out loudly.
Just then the Theater room door opened and a Man walked out covered in blue surgical suit, he took off his nose mask as Vince rushed to him with the rest.
“How was it?, where is my brother?!” Vince asked quickly and the Doctor raised his two hands like he was trying to calm Vince.
“The Operation was successful, we were able to take out the Bullet, he was lucky it didn’t hit any Vital part, so he should be able to wake up in two weeks or even one” The Doctor said and Vince body dropped down in relief.
“Thank you so much” Chung said and the Doctor bowed and walked away.
“Eeomoni, he is going to be fine” Tessy said in relief to Theresa and she nodded smiling sadly.
Vince covered his face turning away from them, at least his guilt was going to ease down a bit.
“Thank Goodness” Vince whispered and Chung sighed out and stared at Vince.
“You are going to be representing Delvin tomorrow, so I guess you should go get some sleep, your Mom and I will be here instead “ Chung said and Vince shook his head,
“I can’t leave Hyung, I will be here until tomorrow morning then I leave “
“Vince….”
“Don’t try to stop me Abeoji “ Vince stated and Chung sighed and nodded.
Pushing it won’t help, Vince was the so much stubborn type.
