*A week Later*

I stared at the address which Vickie earlier scribbled on a piece of paper for me.. and then to the Giant building before me.
It’s a ‘Duvel Company’.
This company is so big from the outside.

Well, my discussion with Vickie last week was fruitful. I went to see her this morning before she’d hurry off to work so I’d ask about the job.. as a cleaner.

Then she told me this Duvel Company are in need of cleaners. She would have followed me down here but she had work to attend to and Dean can sometimes be different.

So all I have to do now is meet up with whoever is in charge and apply.

I stood there still staring nervously at the building.
I’ve never been to such a big public place before to apply for a job so… It’s normal to have this feeling called ~nervousness~
I inhaled sharply and began with slow steps towards the glassy entrance door.

I got closer to it and was about to slide it open when the door suddenly opened, hitting me backwards a little hard and I landed on the ground with my bum.

“I’m so sorry…miss” he gushed out those words as I stared low on the floor, picking up the piece of paper that fell from my hand.
” It’s okay.. ” I sighed out and a hand stretched towards me.
“Than–…

My words trailed off when our eyes suddenly fell on each other.
“Rosiana?”

“Mr. David…” It came out from me like a whisper.

“I’m so sorry Rosiana..” he helped me up and I quickly comported myself as I wiped off the dust particles from my body.

“It’s fine” I smiled.
“W–what are you… I mean, you left the other day. I never thought I’d see you again”
“Well, I had to… My mom needed me so I couldn’t keep her waiting. ” I breathe out.

” So how did you know I was here? ” He asked… Peering his eyes on me which was obviously making me feel un-easy.

Dmn! He has a perfect facial curving and his blue oceanic eyes are worth a dream.

Go$h! What am I even saying??
“Well, huh.. I didn’t uhm… I didn’t actually know you’d be here. I came to apply for a job. Someone directed me here. And that’s how I found my way”
I stuttered a little… Trying to avoid those eyes.

“Well I work here and I’m actually the supervisor… And as far as I can tell, there’s literally no vacancy here except for a manual clean-up…

Or wait… Is that what you came to apply for??”
He paused and stared at me… As I slowly nodded a ‘yes’
“Jeez! Why? …. You don’t have to work as a….. Hmm.

Come with me, let’s go talk somewhere else. I could treat you to lunch.. I don’t intend to keep you standing outside with my questions.”

He stated out as he led me to his car and he opened the door for me and hopped in through the other side.

In no time, he drove out… Heading to God-Knows-where.

I stared through the glassy window of my office as I watched David drive out with some girl.
Who the fk is she?

I gritted my teeth in Anger as I kept looking at the direction they took.

Who’s she and what’s she doing with my David?
I hate to get jealous over what is mine!.

David is mine for all I know… And whoever that ?ch is, she has to stay a very clear way from him.
Cause jealousy makes me Nasty.
I can go crazy over things I want so bad.

? DAVID ?

We meet again.
I felt a little Happy about it. I don’t know why but I just feel somewhat happy in me..

I led her into a restaurant where I ordered food of our choice. At first, she was eating slowly…
I guess she’s a bit shy.
But later on, she picked up the pace and adjusted to her eating habit.

“So… Do you live around?” I asked and she nodded.

I stared at her pretty long eye-lashes and couldn’t help but wondered why a beautiful and smart looking girl like her would want to apply as a cleaner.

“Why do you want a job as a cleaner? I mean, you’re way bigger than that and it’s not just right.”

I asked with so much interest.. as I stared as her eyes darted everywhere… But me.
“Well that’s the only option I have for now. My mom’s sick and I need money for her medications.

I recently got fired by my boss from the restaurant I used to work.. so I’m stranded at the moment”

She explained with her head low. She isn’t the out- spoken type you know.
So she actually worked in a restaurant..

That explains why her food tasted so good. I mean, she’s got great cooking skills.

“I’m really sorry about that.”
“Yeah..” she breathe out.
“I really don’t want you to work as a cleaner”.. I said my mind.
And she stared at me…. Looking suprised.

Like seriously, I don’t want that!.
“That’s the only option I have for now Mr. David. Please I need this job… And I’ll be so grateful if you give me. Since you’re the supervisor”.

I was short of words for a while.. I’m still not okay with the idea.

She needs money for her mom’s medication too…. But working as a cleaner is not an option… She’s way better than that.

Maybe there’s something I can do to help.
She’s a really good cook. And my kids had to eat the food she had prepared the other day for about two days…
They really enjoyed it.
