“I love you Ms Jacob, I know things are a bit tough now and it will get tougher soon but I assure you that I will fix it, but in all…. Please done leave me, promise me,” Jax confessed, staring her directly in the eyes.
He didn’t blink and neither did she, she just stared into each other eyes affectionately.
Jax shifted to her bed, he dropped her gently looming over her.
“Your eyes are gorgeous,” he suddenly said, as he removed a hair strand from her face then kissed the spot he took it from.
Trista blushes shyly, she looked away but he held her jaw, titling her face so she could look at him.
“You don’t have to be shy around me,” he teased knowingly and she rolled her eyes, looking away.
“I’m not,” she rolled her eyes
He grinned, loving the feel of her under him. She was all he had left and he will fîght for her sake. He was ready to do whatever it takes to keep her.
“Why is your eyes glowing?” Jax asked curiosily.
She rubbed the back of her palm on her eyes but he caught her wrist, shocked at the blue flames coming from her palm
“You’re glowing,”
Trista gasped, she tried to take her hand from him but he held her firmly.
She glanced at his face, wishing and hoping he won’t change his mind about being with her, she didn’t plan for him to find out this way.
She was a freak and now he’s going to leave her, won’t he? Who wants to be with a freak anyway?
“You’re a radiant, how is that possible,” Jax’s gave flickered to hers then he looked down at her palms again.
He took her other hand, sliding by the side then sat up, he pulled her with him.
“You’re a radiant,”

ST MATTHEW’S HIGHSCHOOL
It was already spot time so everyone was currently outside.
Ruby was coming towards the field when she saw Isaac, she gulped emptiness and continued going forward, intending to ignore him but to her surprise, Jade ran to his side and he laughed
He fûçking laughed, what is funny? What was she telling him?
She continues walking closer till she got to them, Jade Wave at her but Isaac didn’t even act as though he knew her.
Ruby gulped emptiness.
The match for boys began and Isaac was in red house, Fredrick was in the blue house with Ryan while Ty was also in red house with Isaac.
The ball was passed to Ty by one of their team members so he took off with it, running to their opponents goal post.
Other players were coming at him but Frederick seems determined to get the ball from him.
Just when Ty was about to pass the ball to another team members, Fredrick strikes, kicking him hard on his ankle
The impact sent the bone shifting from its joint and throwing Ty off balance with an agonizing scream.
He rolled and rolled, cupping his ankle in pain.
Bianca and another guy (Henry) who also works in the school clinic rushed to help.
Ty was scooped up and dropped in the stretcher as they carried him away in a hurry.
Fredrick smirked evilly, it’s just so stupid of Ty to think Fredrick was on his side. He never was and never would be!
All he needed was keep Ty close and monitor him before taking him out.
Now he realize keeping both Jax and Ty will be a waste so he has to take them out one after another
Ty is down and Jax is next.
“Isaac… Isaac are you alright,” Jade asked, rushing to Isaac’s side even though he wasn’t the one injured.
She touched his arm and turned him to face her but he glanced towards the door, he got a glimpse of someone rushing out so he searched for Ruby but she was no where to be found.

Ruby slammed the restroom door and lean on it.
She lifted her weight off the door, walking over to the sink and looked herself in the mirror.
Hot tears cascaded down her cheeks, she wipe them but another came on but she wiped them again.
“Just stop it stupid,” she scolded herself, trying to put herself together.
She didn’t want Isaac but seeing him with Jade made her realize she wanted him more than she know.
“Why does it hurt?!” She wipe her tears again.

DIANA’S HOUSE
the doorbell ranged and Trista left the bed.
She came downstairs and peeped from the keyhole just to know who it was.
She didn’t order anything and she didn’t know much people so what was going on?
She opened the door only to see Ava standing there with a box In her hand, Trista flashes a light smile before taking it from her.
“Thank you,” she said cheerfully and Ava rolled her eyes, she walked back into her car and got in, speeding off at a high speed in the neighborhood.
Trista signed, you can’t get someone to like you just cos you want them to so, Ava will come around whenever she feels like.
When she returned to her bedroom Jax was still there waiting for her.
“Radiant,” he called softly
She handed the box over to him but he gave it back to her
“It’s yours radiant,” he said casually.
She glanced at the box then at him before frowning deeply.
“I told you to stop calling me a radiant,” she said, calmly.
“But you are a radiant,” he fell back on the bed, placing both hands under his head.
He used them as pillow.
“How do you know am a radiant and what’s a radiant?” She asked now curious.
She has always felt weird right when she was little, she knew something was wrong with her, but she didn’t know what it was.
“I’m a werewolf but you’re different from me,” Jax replied
Tristan still didn’t get it, she wanted to know what’s in the box but she also wanted to know about herself cos her mother won’t tell her anything.
“Different?”
“Yeah, radiants often comes from a bloodline called the Therians, they are shifters of different kind. We call them shape shifter cos they can be many things, polar bear, Werewolf, rat, lion, tiger, earthworm and many more.” He replied, sitting up then reached for her, pulling her to his lap
“So which one am I?” Trista asked
He smiled
“The special one,” he whispered into her ears. He felt her shievers so he did that again.
“How? Explain,” Trista persuaded impatiently, making a puppy face and Jax poked her cheeks.
“A radiant is the most special one cos she share energy through them, with her powers she can give them the ability to shift into their animals without them losing control and only one radiant can be mark by the animal spirit. There can’t be two radiant so tell me about your father,” Jax explained, all in one word.
“I don’t know him, have never seen him. My mom said he disappeared,” she replied sadly
She might not know who her father was but she truly wanted to know, to see him and ask why he left.
If her mother was so small when they had her, why did her father disappeared? She had many questions and yet no answer.
She blinked twice
“What’s his name?” Jax asked softly
“Jacob,”
“Jacob what, just Jacob no last name?” Jax slides his hand under her dress, cupping her brêâst.
She glanced at his hands then shifted her gaze up at his face shyly.
“Tell me,” he squeezed her brêâst, gaining a shievers of sensation from her.
“I dunno, my…. only…. only… Mom said she gave me his name cos… sh…. she…. cos she…. she didn’t know his last name,” she stuttered shyly
Jax withdrawal his hand from her dress.
“I will find him but I’ll need a scratch of him,”
She got off his lap excited, she has never been more excited all her life. Jax said he was gonna find her father.
“You will? But how?” She asked, eyes wide in surprise.
“If you’re a radiant he might be a Therian and he can help us, so tell me everything your mother told you about his looks,” Jax replied assuring her.
She was stunned, how will he find him? Is that even possible? Her mother was a kid when she had her so won’t he change by now?
Did she really want to see him? What did he look like?
Many thoughts ran through her mind and yet no answer.

LATER THAT AFTERNOON
Ryan had just come to check on Jax, to inform him about Ty’s conditions but Jax wasn’t at home
He decided to take his bath before leaving so after bathing, Ryan Change into one of Jax’s dress before leaving the building.
Stepping out of the house he decided to also carry Jax’s car, Ryan drove out from the compound after getting everything he needed
Meanwhile from another rooftop, a sniper was there waiting patiently for him.
Immediately Jax’s car drove out from the compound, the person on the rooftop pulled the trigger, the Bullet peered through the windshield and into Ryan’s chest….
“One down, know to go,” the sniper began packing and ready to go.

EVENING
the girls decided to see each other after school so Trista was to meet them at a restaurant down town.
Jax refused to leave her alone, he feared Ty might come for her again but she assure him she will be just fine.
He insisted on following her to her destination so she reluctantly agreed.
They crossed the road, walking towards the direction of the restaurant. Trista kept looking around, searching for her friends.
From th corner of her eyes she saw someone waving at her so she turned fully only to see Jade a with huge smiles touching her lips.
Ruby was next to her.
Trista smile
She bid goodbye to Jax who nodded but didn’t move an inche.
He needed her to go in first before leaving with Isaac who’s already on his way. Trista began walking close to her friends while he stood watch..
“Jax,” Someone called, hugging him from behind.
Meanwhile, Trista was still walking over to her friends while they were busy watching the scenes outside.
“Whoa, are they still together?” Betty asked, staring at them.
“I told you he was a fûçk boy but you never listen,” Jade added, also staring at the scene.
Trista who’s still walking in cluelessly turned to Ruby.
“What are you girls talking about, I love juicy gossip,” she said, settling down next to Jade.
Jade elbowed her, gesturing for her to look outside and when she did she met the most heart breaking scene of her life.
Jezebel has her arms wrapped around Jax’s neck, whispering something into his ears and that infuriated Trista.
What is it she wanted to tell him that she can’t say without touching him? She’s even brushing her lips against his ears.
She didn’t know when her body got off the chair, her leg carrying her outside against her will or maybe it was.
“Watch this, I need to tape it,” Betty said reaching for her phone in her purse.
Ruby glanced at her.
They should be stoping their friend from coursing a scene but here Betty is trying to make a video, who does that?
“Someone sent it to me,” Jade’s words came rushing Into her head but she shook it off.
It can’t be Betty, they are friends and Betty will never do evil to her.
“Trista Jacob, why are you taking off your shoes?” Jade asked, rushing outside.
They are all currently rushing after her.
She totally ignored them.
Jax’s eyes widened immediately he saw her walk through the door, eyes glowing, hands glowing…. She was literally glowing, one would think she was the sun.
“No,” Jax shoved Jezebel away but the human was clingy, she ran back to him again.
“I miss you, we can do just a quick one,” Jezebel said, trying to kiss him forcefully.
Isaac’s car came to a stop in front of the restaurant with his jaw dropped.
“A radiant,” he mumbled shocked, when was the last time he saw a radiant? Perhaps never!
She was beautiful, glowing so bright her light could blind anyone.
Does the humans know? Are they seeing her? She needs to be stopped before is too late! But then again what’s fueling her?
He glanced around, trying to find something… just anything that fueled her so she could be stopped.
Issac was still looking around when he noticed Jezebel and Jax, seems Jax wanted to keep the himan off him but tje clingy being is relentless.
“Fûçk!! This is super duper bad,” he opened his car door, rushing out, intending to take Jezebel away before they humans discover them.
It’s not just the three of them that will be in trouble but their entire race living among humans.
This was very bad. Why didn’t Jax know she was a radiant? How long has he known? Don’t he know what they are risking by letting a radiant mingle with humans?
She could kîll them all with just a wave of her hand…. Stupid keeper blinded by Love, now his radiant was jealous…
“Jaxon, Jaxon step away from the human,” Isaac yelled but it was already too late cos….
