Before Finn who’s walking away could turn back at the sound he heard, Trista threw the fireball at him
Both Ava and Bianca gasped, they new what fire can do what alone this one that was thrown with rage.
It could consume him.
The fire ball, went straight to Finn’s chest but bounced on an invisible wall, dropping to the ground beneath his feet and vanishing as smoke.
“Ha, you think you can harm me?” Finn laughed, clasping both hands together in front of him.
“My granny fire herself, okay? She’s the truly radiant and harming me means you’re calling out to her and don’t me you don’t want her to come,” he said rudely.
He did even care if he said something that provoke Trista, after all, she was being weak and doing nothing about it.
A radiant was suppose to be strong enough to stand with both legs, if she can’t pull ordinary energy then how will she feed a thousand with her strength?
The Therians live off the energy their radiant provides so how can she provide…. That’s if she can even ascend without harming herself or probably kîllîng herself.
Finn thought withen him, rolling his eye and hissing at her again.
Trista threw another fireball then another and another, intending to break whatever that was protecting him but her fires kept bouncing off and hitting the ground.
The barrier around him must be strong!
“Sun flower, let him be,” Jax finally said and grabbed her wrist.
She glared at him then at Finn, rage building walls inside her. She wanted so bad to let Finn feel her wrath but the stupid barrier won’t just let her give him what he deserves.
And Jax’s touch was melting her fire, the rage disappearing like cloud weather.
“We should go,” Jax took her away from there, walking over to their car.
He opened the passenger door for her and she got in then he walked around, settling in the driver’s side before turning on the engine and zooming away.
Ava glanced at Finn.
“Do you really have to say that?” Bianca was the first to speak, beating Ava to whatever she wants to say.
Finn shrugged.
“Only speaks the truth, she’s not a true radiant if she can’t pull energy,” he shrugged turning around to leave Ava grabbed her shoulder.
He halted abruptly, glancing at her through his shoulder. He didn’t want her to embarrass him, so he was pleading with his eyes.
Bianca walked away, leaving them behind

DIANA’S HOUSE
The car halted in front of the house and Diana alighted from it.
Jacob was waiting in front of the house when she arrived and she had a smile lingering on his lips with a bouquet of flowers in his hand.
“Jacob, what happened? You said it was urgent and I need to get back to work,” Diana said as she checked her wrist watch.
He went into the house with her, passing the bouquet of flowers to her and she took it, smiling and recalling old memories.
When she met him they were both young, even though he was older she was so very young and he always bought her flowers.
It always makes her feel happy and more like a princess which he used to call her.
Jacob Walked over to her dining table, opening the drink on it. He grabbed the glass cup then poured some quantity into it before passing it to her.
She took it, sipping from it then lowered her hand.
“You used to love Chardonnay, how come you switched to Champagne?” He asked, coming closer to her.
She smiled
“I’m not the same as you left me,” she sip from her wine again.
“Tell me, why do you wish to see me? What was so urgent?” She asked
She’s using her break time to attend to him and whatever he has to say he must be quick so she will get back to work.
“So?” She raised her brows
Jacob tugged her against him, his hand wrapped around her waist with his other hand holding her jaw up.
She shivered but didn’t move.
“You’re still the same, never changed,” he let his breath brushed against her skin
“Jacob…..”
He place a finger on her lips.
“I know I left, it was bad it was bad if me but if I had stayed I would have gone to jail cos it was a felony. You were under age and I was a grown man, I apologize,” he said calmly.
She titled her gaze up only to see him staring down at her with this grey eyes, captivated by his gaze she couldn’t move away not look away.
She loved him, so very much, more than she ever loved anyone including herself. When her parents wants to force her into abortion she flee with her unborn child, hoping and wishing to see him again and here he was.
Meanwhile, Jimmy’s car pulled over in front of the house and he alighted from it with a bottle of champagne.
He’d gone to Diana’s work place so they could have lunch together since it was her break period but they told him she left.
He did Kno where she could be since she doesn’t have friends outside work that’s why he drove home to check.
Jimmy check himself in his car mirror, Adding a little perfume to his shirt then smiled.
He walked over to Diana’s house, raising his hand to knock but he paused when something caught his eye.
The door was slightly opened so he decided to just go in and surprise her, his other mind told him to knock but he Wave it aside.
He pushed the door gently, ever so gently so it won’t make a sound but then froze at the sight in front of him.
He removed his glasses, maybe he wasn’t seeing clearly but even without his glasses he could see Diana standing in front of Jacob.
His hand firmly around her waist, resting on her hips, his other hand removed a hair strand from her face and she was staring up at him and he was staring at her too.
They looked as though they were lost in their own world, were nothing else existed except them.
Heartbroken, Jimmy turned around, swallowed hard. He walked back to his car and throw the champagne at the backseat then got in.
They already got back together, so all those kindness was for nothing? She never truly cared about him?
She why did she not react when he kissed her? Was she just being nice to him for nothing? They ate lunch and drank together so she never read meaning into it all.
Wait a minute, was she using him?
Many thoughts ran through his mind, finally he zoomed off at high speed.

BACK IN THE HOUSE
Jacob kissed Diana’s forehead.
“I’m sorry for ever leaving,” he said and kissed her cheeks.
“I will make it up, I promise,” he said, assuring her in those now husky voice she loved so much.
It was having too much effects on her and he knows it cos he slide his hand around her, holding her tighter.
Feeling every reactions from her body, slowly Jacob guilded her towards the Couch, he settled down pulling her to the couch since she has been hypnotize but she suddenly spring to her feet and flinched away
Keeping a good distance between them.
“Oh my goodness, you’re trying to seduce me, you’re seducing me… You know me too well and you’re using your old technique to seduce me,” she lashed out, eyes wide in disbelief.
Jacob opened his mouth to defend himself but closed them back again.
What could he possible say, she caught him red handed.
Diana’s gasped shocked to the core. She never knew he could think of it let alone putting it to work.
She loved him, for so long she loved him cos he was a man he made her believe that he was but turned out he wasn’t exactly what she had in mind
He wanted to take her to bed, so his only focus was sleeping with her?
“Get out!!!!” She spats pointing at the door.
“Diana….”
“Out!!!!” She yelled infuriated, how dare he?

UNDISCLOSED LOCATION.
Ty called the same line that Fredrick called him with but no response came.
He dialed it over and over again for complete ten times yet Frederick didn’t pick or call back.
He threw the car at the back seat with frustration, not knowing what to do again.
The fûçking bâstârd told him to come out here na she was waiting but he isn’t even picking his damn phone.
A knock came on his car windshield so he looked forward to see a hoodie guy. He quickly rolled down his glass but
“Open the door,” Fredrick said.
Ty quickly opened the door without saying a word, Fredrick got into the car then released a breath.
“Where the fûçk have you been? What happened?” Ty asked impatiently.
Fredrick let out a sigh of frustration.
“What else if not Jax, but that’s by the way. Listen, I know of a way we can get rid of Jax,” He said, watching closely ad Ty’s eye lit up.
“Tell me about it,” Ty said,
He will do anything, whatever it will take for Jax to go down he will do it.
“Good, they are now practicing her powers at the beach, I believe they will still meet there tomorrow evening so meet me there around 5,” He said.
He didn’t want to go Into details of how he suddenly disappeared from the pack, telling Ty about Trista Mom means he was going to also tell him why he held her hostage beside Ty has already taken the beating it’s now left for him to dîè.
“Fredrick…. Fredrick look up,” Ty called touching his lap, turned out he has been calling him for some time now but he waskst in thought.
When Fredrick looked up he met the pointing of a gun right on their foreheads.
“The…” Fredrick words went down his throat when the bullet flew through the windshield and right into his skull, leaving an open hole on his head.
They was also shot in the same place.

DEEP IN THE WOODS
The woods loomed ahead, an eerie stillness settling over the forest as Jax and Trista cautiously made their way deeper into the shadows.
The canopy of trees overhead cast a dim, green light on the forest floor, giving it a mystical quality.
“Come, you will see,” Jax called out to Trista, she followed him pass some rocks then wood.
He made sure to remove any branches blocking the way for her as she walked past.
As they walked, Jax couldn’t help but reflect on his mother’s murder, the memory of her death still raw and painful.
It was already getting dark and she was anxious. She wasn’t a fan of the dark but since she was with Jaxon she relaxed a little.
“Jaxson,” Trista called, her voice wavering.
He took her hand, pulling her along with him, they went deeper and deeper into the woods till they got to a particular place and stopped.
Trista was confused when he paused, she didn’t know why he has to stop so she glanced at him.
“It’s here,” Jax said quietly
Trista glanced at him.
“This is was I fûçked the human and this I were I shoved my mother to,” he said, pointing at a long tall tree.
“This is were they dragged her to,” he began walking away again and she followed.
He purposely left everything that way, his father didn’t even come near. He always comes here whenever his bêâst refused to be tamed.
Trista slide her hand to his, providing comfort.
“It’s okay,” she whispered softly.
He glanced at her then smile .
They came out to an open field and he glanced around, searching for her death post. It was here some weeks ago so what happened?
Trista notice how werry he was and narrowed her gaze at him.
“Is everything alright?” She asked softly.
“She was…” He glanced around.
“She was burnt here by the humans,” he looked at her also confused.
Who could possibly take the post he kept for her recognition? Who?
Suddenly a man walking at the end caught his gaze, in a flash, Jax dashed after him. Before the man could realize someone was coming for him, Jax already slammed his back against the wall nearly them.
“You,” he roared, drawing claws and fangs.
“Remember me? The boy you burnt his mother….” The guy shoved at Jax
Without a second thought Jax shifted, he lunged at the guy again, sanking his claws into the guys shoulder and pulling blood.
“Tell me or I will rip you apart? Where is the post?” He roared in the guys head. His red eyes flashing.
“Please don’t kill me, I have a family and my wife is pregnant….”
“You kîllêd my mother, do you think that little boy was never gonna grow??!!!”
“It was your father, he paid us to do everything we did back then. I was only but a hitman…..”
