CHAPTER 104
“Get tired of her? There’s no way I’ll get tired of the air I breathe, she became a large part of me already, and I’ll cherish her for the rest of my life….I promise” he said, and chairman broke the hug immediately.
“Promise? Really?” He asked, and Maxwell smiled.
“Promise, father-in-law” he said, and chairman hugged him this time.
“Thank you so much, please take care of her. She might look mature but she’s actually a baby” he said, and Maxwell chuckled.
“I know that more than anyone”
Five minutes later, they’re already up, and Maxwell started dusting his suit.
“No need, there’s a change for you in the car” chairman said.
“Me?” Maxwell said surprisingly.
“Yes you” he replied, pushing him into the car.
Truly, he met a new suit inside. He undressed and put it on before coming out to meet chairman.
“How did you know my size?” He asked, and chairman smiled.
“I made thorough research on you young man, I even know the time you sleep” he said.
“What!” Maxwell’s eyes widened.
“Kidding” he replied, and they both laughed.
“About how I threw water at your wife’s face last time…” Maxwell said.
“She deserved it, so just forget it” chairman cut him off, and he smiled.
“Expect a new manager today” he spoke again, and Maxwell faced him quickly.
“Today? Gem said Monday”
“He has been in Paris since yesterday, and he told me he was gonna resume on Monday , but he suddenly changed the date to today” chairman said.
“Oh… Then we’d be looking forward to meeting him” Maxwell smiled.
“You should leave now, it’s getting late” chairman said.
“Alright sir” he said and got in his car, driving out of the place.
He smiled throughout his drove to the company, and he suddenly sighted a pair of beautiful shoes from the glass wall of a store.
He stopped the car and stared at it again, then he used his mask before stepping out of the car.
He entered the store, and attendants flocked him immediately.
“Limited Mell!” One of them said.
“Shhh!” He quickly shut her up as they all faced him.
They held their lips together, then he removed his mask and smiled.
“OMG it’s really my crush!”
“Aww! Please just a picture!”
“I love you so much!”
“I watch all your Livestream!”
“I’m your number one follower!”
The five ladies began showering him with comments, and he almost ran out of words to say.
“Can I get the shoes first?” He smiled.
“Queen shoes? We’re the only store with it in Paris, and this is the only part trust me, it’s a limited edition and it arrived just one minute ago” one of them said, giving him a pair.
