CHAPTER 29
Meanwhile Cookie and Collins were still staring at each other at the hallway
“I’m only gonna ask once and I won’t ask again….”
“I dunno what’s going on in that head of yours but you’re not my type, not even close, not even what I can look at, you don’t even deserve to be where I am and you should thank your stairs I have more important things to do if not I would’ve thrown you to the pit where you belong so you could see your fellow pigs there,” She cut him off and his eye widened, reality flashing in his eyes
Recognition flying into him from all angles and he swore, he has never been so shocked all life.
He said that, he can clearly remember his word, he said those words to a fat girl….. Wait, no one was there when he said it so does that mean Cookie was the fat girl?
But how? Wait…. Did she walk out? She’s so hot and pretty, she’s curvy now and he doubt he didn’t see all these before saying all those things to her.
Lucius gulped, maintaining his composure. Glancing around he noticed everyone still staring at them.
From the corner of his eye he saw Collins andbhisb friend close.
“Listen, I know I…”
“I don’t wanna hear, I’m not supposed to be where you are so your Words are not supposed to fir in my ears,” she took her hand from him
Seeing that Collins was close Lucius grabbed her arm again but she roughly snatched her hand away
“Let go!!” Her voice rose, breaking through the crowd and lingering in the air. Her gaze hot and dangerous but he’s not one to fear cos he has seen too many and has fought so many.
“Not until you listen,” he said, grabbed her wrist with his left hand.
She made to snatch her hand from him again but he was faster, his grip around her wrist tightening to the point it hurts.
Cookie glanced at her wrist then up at his face, shockingly, he looked differen. He was far from the handsome hot guy she knew.
Jesus, was this how people were? He was…. She twisted her wrist but he held tight
“We should talk,” he said, his tone taking a different tone.
The possessiveness in his town made her wonder if he was always like this, masking his other horrible side with his cute handsome face.
“Lemmw go!” She said, raising her voice a little bit.
He did budge, he held tight as though not planning to release her.
“Do what the lady says,” Collins voice broke through the crowd, lingering in the air, thick and fierce
Lucius scoffed.
“Mins your business, this has nothing to do with you,” Lucius snarled.
Collins licked his lips, resting his hand on Richard’s shoulder.
“The lady says you should let her, do that!” Collins took a step forward, matching up to his brother without fear.
