Kayla’s Pov:
I put on my very beautiful long black gown.
I sat in front of the dressing mirror applying makeups on my face.
“Perfect!” I said almost inaudibly to myself.
Actually tonight is the house warming party of the new neighbor.
I mean Jayden and Marvin his cousin as he told me.
The door swing open and Natasha walked in.
I stared at her in shock.
She was in her sleeping pyjamas.
“Natasha?” I called as she lay heavily on the bed.
“Yeah! What is it?” She asked hugging the pillow.
“You are not yet dressed? I asked anxiously
“Dressed for what?” She pretended
“Really? Don’t give me that Natasha…. For the party” I said
“Party? Was I invited to any party?” She asked
“What the…. To the new neighbor’s party” I said as she sighed loudly.
“Oh that? Am not going to attend!” She rolled her eyes.
“No way! That isn’t happening..” I snorted
“Kayla I don’t want to….”She said as I picked up a box of dress and threw it at her.
“No freaking way! Get dressed Natasha… Don’t be an a**” I said with an air of authority.
“You’re mistaken Kayla cos am not going with you” She said
“Then I won’t help you with the office project anymore” I threatened
“What?” She arched her eyebrows
“You heard me! Get dressed Natasha” I groaned…..

Kayla’s Pov:
I dragged Natasha along with me as we walked out of the house.
“Arrrgghh…. Kayla I don’t like this idea! I abhor it so much…” Natasha cried
“Whatever! Let’s just go” I said
“Am really exhausted from work… I need to rest” Tasha groaned
“Yeah… Yeah… I know you need to rest but that will be when we get back” I said as she rolled her eyes.
We walked into Jayden’s apartment.
Music was already playing so loud and a lot of cars were parked outside the house.
I walked in front while Natasha followed unwillingly.
We walked into the sitting room filled with people.
“Hi guys!” I waved at the people there and they waved back still drinking and dancing.
I looked around and there was no sight of Jayden and Marvin.
I sat quietly and helped myself with a glass of wine.
“Where’s Natasha?” I asked myself as I turned around and saw her sitting at the other corner alone.
“Hey! Tasha… Come join me here” I smiled.
She only rolled her eyes.
“Whatever!” She groaned and I chuckled as I looked away.
