Jayden’s Pov:
I saw tears well down Natasha’s eyes.
As she stared at the log cabin emotionally broken.
She quickly hugged me in tears.
I was astonished and words refused to come out of my mouth.
“Jay why don’t we stay here for some more time?” She asked in tears.
My eyes popped out of it’s socket in shock.
Did I hear her right?
Unbelievable
I gulped nervously as the sailor watched us and smiled broadly.
“Natasha I thought you wanted to go back to Kayla and to go back home” I said
She disengaged the hug and shook her head.
“Don’t mind me… Am sorry for what I just said” She said as she climbed into the boat.
I breathed heavily.
Is she mad at me already?
I shrugged it off and we sailed off.
It was a quiet journey cos no-one said a word to each other.
And Natasha stayed far away from me.
I wonder why?
“Would you guys want to go to another beach for this kind of picnic?” The sailor broke the silence.
“We never went for a picnic” Natasha cut in as she shot me a stare.
“Yes of course it’s not a picnic cos I think it looks more like a honeymoon” The man laughed and we both kept mute.
I was gobsmacked but I don’t know about Natasha.
I guess she too doesn’t know what to say.
We didn’t have any more conversation until we got to the seashore.
We still didn’t talk to each other.

We boarded a cab to the house.
We still ignore each other.
I know she’s just missing my presence
The cab pulled over in front of the house and we got down.
She turned to leave but she quickly stopped and faced me.
“Thank you!” Her tiny voice said as I smiled within me.
I quickly turned to her.
“You’re welcome Tasha” I smiled
She shook hands with me and walked towards their gate.
“Please wait!” I said as she halted
“Yes?” She said with a questioning look.
“We are friends now right?’ I said as she chuckled.
“Friends….” She said and brought out her hand.
I happily shook her too.
“Friends!!” I replied and winked at her.
“She quickly withdrew her hand and laughed.
“You’re silly…. Good night anyways!” She said and walked away.
“Good night!” I replied and laughed.
I walked into the house with so much excitement.

Kayla’s Pov:
I opened the curtains and peeped from the window.
As I chuckled in excitement.
I saw Jay and Tasha shook hands.
For my mean Natasha to shake hands with Jayden simply means they are now in good terms.
Wow! The beach holiday worked.
I watched Natasha walk into the compound
I quickly pretended and walked into the kitchen.
“Kayla! Kayla!!” Natasha screamed in happiness as she stormed into the house.
I quickly rushed out of the kitchen.
“Natasha?” I called as we ran into each others arms.
We hugged each other tightly.
“Where have you been?” I asked worriedly.
She laughed heartily.
“Don’t worry I will give you the whole details but first am famished” She said as she walked into the kitchen.
“Of course I prepared your favourite” I said as she shrieked in excitement.
We rushed into the kitchen together.
