Kayla’s Pov:
I knocked on the door.
“Come in” That was Natasha’s voice.
I walked in with a lunch pack in my hand.
“Hey Kay! Any news for the girls?” She shrieked in excitement.
I laughed.
“You’re crazy!” I rolled my eyes
“So what’s up?” She asked with her eyes fixed on the laptop.
“Here! that’s your lunch specially packed by your Prince Charming” I said as smiles escaped her lips.
“He’s just so perfect” She said sweetly and took the lunch pack from me.
“Yeah right…” I smiled.
“Thanks for bringing the pack, am getting really hungry” She said and I smiled.
“See you later girl” I said as I stormed out of the office.
I have some files to go through.
A lot on my desk mehn
Some people thought I was wrong by helping Jay bond with my bestie right?
I hope you guys can see how happy they are now

LATER IN THE EVENING
Jayden’s Pov:
I drove my car out of the compound.
I need to go pick up my “JULIET” from work.
And finally am going to tell her the whole truth about me.
I got to the office building.
She was already outside waving at me with smiles all over her face.
I winked at her as I pulled over.
I got down from the car.
I was going to meet her when suddenly I heard a gunshot……
Blood…..
What’s going on?
What blood?
Jayden’s Pov:
I rushed into the hospital carrying my Natasha in my arms.
My white shirt was already soaked with blood.
I ran as fast as I could.
“Nurse! Nurse!! Doctor!!!” I yelled with Natasha still in arms.
She was bleeding profusely and unconscious.
A stretcher was brought and she was placed into it.
Tears welled down my cheeks.
I couldn’t control myself anymore.
My poor Natasha…..
Blood was gushing out like never before.
“Sir you can’t go beyond this place” One of the nurses said as they closed the emergency room.
“Nurse please I really need to be close to her… I can’t bear this please I…” I tried saying but the door was already shut.
I was so devastated and frustrated as well.
Thoughts kept running through my mind.
I was restless and I kept walking about.
“Who could have shut her?” I thought and scratched my head.
Dear God!
Please don’t let anything bad happen to my Natasha.
Just when I thought everything was getting better.
But who shot her?
And why?
Just then, I heard a loud scream and wail.
I turned around…. It was Kayla.
“My goodness! Jayden! Where is my friend?” Kayla asked wailing.
Words refused to come out of my mouth.
“She’s… She’s in the theatre undergoing surgery” I said as she cried the more.
Kayla couldn’t stop crying.
We stayed up to one hour yet no update.
We became more worried
Marvin also came by and Kayla called Natasha’s parents.
I was nervous as well as worried.
Meeting Natasha’s parents in such a circumstance.
