FEMALE IN DISGUISE : CHAPTER 11 – 20
She waited for hours, and he had to arrive at the wrong time?
“Yes, Master” she replied with difficulty, continuing the exercise.
The cold ate deeper and deeper into her system, and the more she pressed, the more she grunted.
She got to 35 and made to rest her arms…
“You do that, and you’re out of the clan. I took you in, and that only means your life belongs to me, Micheal” Madden’s firm voice said behind her, and she gulped again at the meanness.
“But I…
“You wanna get stronger? Then show me what you’ve got. Go on” he ordered, and she breathed out, steam escaping her mouth as she continued despite the pains.
The cold got worse, and she started thinking about what it’d be like to die of hypothermia.
She’s gonna die at this rate and this motherfûcker here won’t give a fûck.
At the same time, she really wants to get stronger.
Didn’t she come here to achieve that?
‘You came to get stronger, not to die’ the annoying voice in her head boomed, but she ignored it and continued her exercise.
Her elbows shook as she did the fiftieth press-up, and it felt like her heart would burst out of it confines.
She’s hot and cold at the same time.
She’s shaking and red, too…
Everywhere is dark, and at the same time blurry…then white…
Her eyes closed, and she fell, passing out as sweat bathed her skin and snowflakes filled her hair and clothes.
Madden’s movements were slow as he walked to her, and immediately his pair of brown boots settled beside her, he crouched beside her body, and his lips twitched so fast as he stared down at her.
“Michael?” He said, running his droopy eyes through her body thoroughly.
“Could have fooled me” he muttered.

FIVE YEARS AGO, A BUNGEE TOWER IN USA*
“I can’t do this!!!” Adeline shouted after the cord was harnessed to her knees and the straps tied to her legs.
Kimberly had suggested they came to try out bungee jumping on that Christmas eve, and she couldn’t say no cos she has been wanting to come too.
Bungee jumping is number two in her bucket list, and it’s enticing.
“You wanted to come remember? Giving up right now means you’re a coward!” Kimberly replied behind her, and the other people present laughed at her tone.
Adeline peeped down from the edge, then she stepped back immediately as her eyes dwindled.
“I really can’t do this! Feels like I’m jumping to my death!! I give up!!” She shouted, and the laughter erupted again, but their laughter were cut short when a guy came out from the far back.
His eyes are the first thing Adeline got enchanted by… They’re grey and so fuçking beautiful.
He looks the coolest of all the guys there, and he’s wearing a beanie cap just like her, though his own is green while hers is white.
“Hey” she waved, smiling sheepishly as she felt a loud thud in her heart.
Love at first sight is for real cos she’s experiencing that shit right now.
Who wouldn’t?
“Hey, I can go down with you if you don’t mind.” He said, and she bit her lip before nodding.
“Sure”
He stayed behind her, and he was strapped with the cords and straps too, together with her.
Kimberly winked at Adeline whose face is a complete shade of red right now, and Adeline smiled back nervously as the guy wrapped his arms around her middle.
“Ready?” The controller of the bungee asked.
“Yeah” the guy answered.
“Yeah” Adeline replied, and then they were pushed.
Adeline let out a maddening scream when she felt the wind carrying her down to the end of the space, and the guy’s arms tightened around her despite the straps till they got to the end of the rope and were left hanging at the base.
“Oh my gawd!” Adeline shouted, feeling brave all of a sudden as she took in all the amazing views surrounding her.
“You feel good?” The guy asked behind her, and she smiled.
Though her back is on him and she’s not seeing his face right now, she could imagine him smiling his sweetest smile.
“Yeah, thanks to you” she replied.
