Jinx payed for the things they got in just five bags, then they left the boutique.
“Hope Master won’t get mad that you didn’t spend well” Jinx said..
“I bought ten shirts, boxers and trousers, three boots too…” Adeline said.
“Exactly my point, too small. We didn’t even spend up to one million rubles” Jinx replied.
“I’m fine with what I got” Adeline said, and Jinx shrugged as they set the bags in the car trunk.
While doing that, Adeline’s eyes caught someone at the other side of the road, beside a mosque.
She turned there completely, but she saw no one.
Was she hallucinating again?
“Let’s go, Mich” Jinx entered the car.
“Sure” Adeline sighed, getting in with her.
Immediately Jinx started the drive, Adeline got a text.
She checked sluggishly, but when she saw it, her bones set themselves on fire.
• Hey Ade, can we meet tomorrow? I missed you, and we need to talk.
Only one person in the whole world calls her Ade.
Her eyes widened… She wasn’t hallucinating earlier.

Igor literally barged into Erik’s office, and luckily, he met him on seat.
He dropped several pictures on his desk, and Erik began checking them out.
They’re pictures of Madden’s meeting with the top 5 a while ago.
“And?” Erik looked up with a scowl.
“Are you seriously calm now? What if they all eventually vote for him? Madden is manipulative than anyone of us!” Igor shouted.
His face is still scarred from Madden’s punches.
“The top 5 are with me, I’m not sure about Sergei though. Let’s just say I have four of them on my side” Erik calmly said.
“Make Sergei join our side too!” Igor impatiently said.
“There’s a strong relationship between Sergei and Madden. You know that” Erik said.
“Then destroy it!” Igor spat.
“So you’ll proudly sit down and watch me fight for you? Are you gonna be useless till the end?” Erik sneered, and Igor went silent.
“If you’re gonna be a future leader, then snow the attributes now!” Erik gnarled, and Igor’s head went bowed.
“I’ll handle it” he said and left.
Erik rested back, adjusting his glasses on his nose bridge with a cunning smile.
“Leader? You? What a joke” he grinned.

MAYA’S SUITE*
Angelika’s health kept Lady Selesta so busy, so Maya’s chamomile tea arrived late at exactly 2pm.
She opened the door to get it, and she met Andrei waiting with the tea tray.
“Why you again?” She asked moodily.
“I got it myself since Selesta is busy. It calms you down and you can’t risk not taking it for a day” he replied, coming in to set the tray on the table.
She walked behind him, her knife in hand, but he slowly took it away from her.
“Drop this, at least” he said.
“Strange. Why are you calm today? I like your rude blunt side better” she replied with a slight smile.
“You should take the tea, I’m off to duty” he said and made to leave, but Maya’s arms were already around him, hugging him tight like her airbag.
“I can’t breath” he said, coughing lightly.
“Tea doesn’t calm me down, you do” she replied, shutting her eyes.
Andrei’s throat bobbed, then slowly, he hugged her back.
Maya smiled.
