MANOR, 11PM*
The manor is dead silent except for the sounds of Adeline’s heartbeats.
It was literally hammering throughout the house as she slept cuddled in Madden’s arms in bed.
He had mandated her to eat some pancakes then she had her shower before changing into one of his sweatshirts again.
She’s wearing nothing under it, and the shirt is so short that it barely covered her @ss, so the intimacy is almost skin-to-skin since he’s wearing just white singlet and boxers too.
Her face is on his chest, and despite her determination to sleep over the betrayal she just experienced, she couldn’t sleep.
His scent… His damn snowy frosty scent again.
How can a man smell so good?
She was inhaling it greedily while trying to adjust her position so she could look at his face.
His arms are so muscular and tight that it felt impossible to move from the position he kept her in, but she finally did it after struggling for more than three minutes.
She flicked up her eyes slowly, and she nearly gasped when she saw his eyes closed.
Is he asleep?
It almost feels illegal to see him sleeping. It’s the first time she witnessed it.
He has never been in bed with her cuddling before. Even the sèx they had here, he left the bed after screwing her hard, and the nights he allowed her to spend the night on his bed, he stayed in his workroom.
It’s almost like he’s allergic to sharing the same bed with her, but tonight, he didn’t only share it with her, but he’s sleeping?
She was speechless as she stared at him, and even in his sleep, he looks dangerous.
Her eyes went to the small scar on his chin, and she raised her hand to touch it gently… caressing it.
She has always wanted to ask how he got it, but apart from that, it’s a sèxy one.
She was about to drop her hand when her eyes caught his lips, and she gulped.
She almost touched the soft flesh, but she restrained herself before dropping the hand, then she returned her face to his chest quickly.
“Also, Madden is not someone you can fall for. He destroys everything he touches, and his secrets are too dark. Don’t fall for the devil”
Corey’s words haunted her head again, and her teeth grazed her lower lip.
There’s nothing like falling for him.
She doesn’t even feel anything for him, right?
He’s her Master, and she’s the trainee.
She only needs his body warmth right now, and she’d be fine for the night.
Right…she’s only using him.
She threw her arms around him, almost entering his skin.
She could feel his huge dîck poking her thighs repeatedly, and till her eyes closed, she didn’t stop feeling it.
She slept wetly… In the middle.
Five minutes after she dozed off, Madden’s eyes opened.
He wasn’t sleeping.
Actually, he’s aware of Adeline’s sneaky moves ten minutes ago, but he only kept his eyes closed to humour her.
Sleep? He doesn’t do that shit easily, especially with someone beside him.
He untangled her arms from his body and got down from the bed, throwing on his sweatpants and a red shirt before exiting the room.
He left for the main door and opened up, revealing three guards on the mountain.
The ones he sent after Adeline earlier.
“Yes?” He frowned, and one of them handed him an envelope.
He took it and emptied out the content.
They’re pictures of Adeline and a guy at a construction site, and judging by her positions in all the photos, she was obviously fighting the guy, and she’s dressed like a female.
The weird thing is that the guy’s face isn’t clear in everything. Only Adeline’s face is lucidly clear.
“The fûck is this?” He faced the three.
“Micheal took the car, but someone else came out of it…it was a lady” they replied.
“I am not taking about that, dumbass! Why is the guy’s face blurry like a fuçking foggy mirror!” Madden snapped angrily.
“I think he knowingly stood in camera-shy spots throughout their meeting. We’re sorry” they quickly apologized, all three trembling so bad already.
