Madden caught the knife, then he threw it back again.

Zoya couldn’t avoid it, so it stabbed her in the arm again, on the same spot as the first stab.

“Madden!!” She cried, unable to remove the knife this time as her blood dropped on the kitchen ground in rivulets.

“Mommy!!!” Angelika cried louder while Aleksandr only looked on with a smile on his face.

He loved Madden more immediately.

“He’s really my dad” he muttered with a thrilling edge on his voice.

“Death…” Lady Selesta said, trying to calm Madden down, but it didn’t work cos Madden was already with Zoya.

He threw her a punch in the face, and her jaw cracked, then she returned the punch, but Madden swayed aside, avoiding her fist before catching it

He pulled her head to the table and smashed it hard on the glass.

“Mommy!!!” Angelika cried again as Zoya’s head began bleeding.

“Madden” she muttered shakily, and Madden rolled eyes as he watched her ego crashing.

“You had the guts to step on my compound and slap one of my girls repeatedly? You wounded one of my boys on the head too, and your boys made a mess of the clan! All because you wanted the manor key that you’d never get? Do I look like I want your pu$$y? Do I look like I want you at all?” He boiled, each word spelling out burning danger.

Zoya’s head remained on the table, she couldn’t move.

“The plan was to marry you before the election, not to bring you to my manor, but if you continue like this, I might actually break your legs so I’ll get married to you on a wheelchair” Madden continued roughly, and Zoya swallowed.

Angelika quickly went on her knees, rubbing her palms together with tears in her eyes.

“Please let go of my mommy, don’t break my mommy’s legs… please forgive her”

Her pleads were coming out choky, making it obvious just how much she cried.

Lady Selesta and Aleksandr didn’t even add anything to the talk, the two only looked on speechlessly.

Madden let go of Zoya, and he didn’t wait another minute before storming out of the kitchen.

Zoya stood, and Selesta quickly gave her a cup of water which she poured on her face, rinsing the blood away.

“I… Personally think it’s better to return to your father’s mansion. It’s obvious, Death doesn’t want you here” Selesta said.

“I’m staying here, Selesta” Zoya rolled eyes, taking her handbag from the island.

A round stuff fell out of the bag, and Selesta quickly picked it up.

“Camphor?” She said.

Zoya snatched it from her immediately.

“I’ll be staying at your apartment till I get mine tomorrow morning” she said, leaving the kitchen too.

Aleksandr followed her, but Angelika continued crying, so Selesta carried her and placed her on the island.

She wiped her tears thoroughly and smiled.

“Didn’t you miss me? Stop crying your mommy is fine”

“I missed you, but I don’t like Death… I don’t want him” she shook her head.

“Give him some time to settle with your mum, and everything will be fine…ok?” Selesta’s said, and Angelika sniffled.

“I prepared a whole lot of walnut cake and candies for you” Selesta cheered.

“I think… I think mommy hates Micheal” Angelika said.

“Why?”

“Cos I overheard her talking about killing Micheal’s aunt Odessa on phone. Can you help me find Micheal and tell him to be careful?” Angelika replied, and Selesta shadowed her eyes for a while before finally nodding.

“Sure”

Angelika smiled.

Madden is inside, sitting and facing the big cross in front of the alter as usual.

He’s caressing the necklace on his neck, and as he did, he could feel a slight sting.

Adeline loves pulling it during sèx or kisses, and whenever she does, the necklace leaves a sore red line around his neck, but he loves it though.

He’s obsessed with her rough pulls and straightforward nature, but the one thing he’d like to straighten out is her thoughtlessness and stubbornness.

It doesn’t seem like it could be fuçked out of her, so locking her up would do for now.

He looked at the big cross again, sighing as he remembered how it came about.
