Adeline stayed by his right, Jinx and Loud by his left.
The rest followed behind as they entered the magnificent bar.
Most of the shady meetings in the underworld takes place here, so it’s full of powerful people, and as they sighted Madden, they stopped to greet respectfully.
Among the crowd, Madden could already see the different ones who’re on standby with weapons in their hands.
Definitely, they’re Mercy’s men.
Getting to the long hallway, Igor’s team suddenly appeared from the other end of it.
Igor, Trixie and Sin in the front, followed by Andrei and Kimberly, then several other mobsters.
Adeline didn’t even look surprised to see Kimberly on the opposing team.
Anything can happen now.
Igor was glaring at Madden as they got closer and closer to each other, but Madden never spared him any attention.
The two teams entered the big hall at the same time, and as expected, Mercy is already on seat.
She’s the opposite of her name though… A tall slender woman in her early fifties, wearing a flowing black gown and a tanned fur coat… Flashy make-up accompanied with red lips.
She looks witchy for real, and a slow smile took over her lips when he saw the two teams.
There are five big black bags on the table, containing drugs.
Madden took his seat in front of her, and Igor did the same on the second chair.
“I’ll only release the goods for the team that has the bodyguard who killed Stravinsky” Mercy said sternly.
Adeline raised her brows immediately.
“How come you never exceed my expectations? I pictured this scene last night” Madden smirked darkly.
“Give him to me and you have the goods” Mercy replied.
“Give him to you, to do what?” Madden glared, his eyes almost beheading her.
“I’ll kill him myself. He killed Stravinsky!” Mercy snapped, and Madden grabbed her mercilessly by the neck, pushing the table between them away with his shoe before going closer to pin her down to the chair.
She smiled defiantly despite the choking.
“Killing Stravinsky was an order from me, and for what you just said, I’ll go to his grave and uproot his body, then burn it to ashes and mould a dîck with it since that is what he is!” Madden growled in fury.
Mercy’s eyes blinked… She obviously got scared by that statement, but she concealed it before talking again.
“I’m not giving you the goods if I don’t get Micheal” She insisted, and Madden let go of her neck roughly.
He grabbed the bags on the table one by one and poured the drugs on the ground, scattering it on the ground without any care.
Ecstasy, cocaine, tobacco, Molly….
There are handfuls of it, but they’re all fake.
“I knew they were fake immediately I sighted them, so you might wanna quit acting and get the real goods out” Madden seethed.
Adeline knows he’s losing his little patience, and it’s dangerous cos the moment he loses it all, this place will become a graveyard.
And why is Igor just sitting without saying anything?
“Then let’s play a game. If you win, you get the goods and take Micheal away. If you lose, I get Micheal and Igor gets the goods” Mercy offered.
“Fair enough” Igor spoke for the first time. He’s enjoying this a little too much.
“And why do you think I’d agree to play a fuçking game with you?” Madden glared at Mercy.
“Because you can’t lose this deal. You’ve been on it since January, and the clan will lose trillions if I refuse to let go. I’m the only one who knows where it is, so why don’t we make this quick?” Mercy replied calmly.
