****♪SEDUCTION****

Darly eyes opened and looked around. His vision was blur at first but he could swear it was his father. “Dad?” He called gently and the man turned to look at him.

His eyes sparkled in relief and he hugged him tightly almost hurting him, forgetting the fact that he was injured. “How are you feeling?” Mr Cooper asked and he just nodded possesitively looking around. He raised his eyebrows as he sighted Leonardo leaning on the door while staring at him.

He rolled his eyes and turned to look his dad. “How is angel? The people who kidnapped were threatening to hurt angel if I didn’t cooperate” he said.

“Yeah she’s fine.” His dad replied. He turned his gaze to look at Leonardo who would not stop staring at him. “You keep staring at me like I stole something from you or did angel break up with you because she prefer me” Darly teased, and Leonardo just chuckled. “You are funny little bro” he said and Darly huffed.

“Little bro? Where is that coming from?” He stared at him and chuckled. “Darly” his father called his name and he turned to look at Mr Cooper. “Do you remember when I told you about your mother story and her children?” He asked and Darly nodded.
“The stepbrother I told you about is Leonardo” he finally let out the word.

Darly’s eyes widened, his gaze darting back and forth between his father and Leonardo, disbelief flooding his features.

“What…?” Darly breathed, his voice barely a whisper. “You mean…he’s…my…stepbrother?” His chest rose and fell as he processed the revelation. The air between him and Leonardo grew tense, thick with an unsaid history, questions, and buried emotions.

Mr. Cooper placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. “Yes, Darly,” he said softly, his voice tinged with a gentle warmth. “Leonardo is your stepbrother. Your mother had him before she met me. He’s always been family, even if…you didn’t know.”

Leonardo’s gaze softened, his usual sharp eyes holding an unfamiliar gentleness. The shadows that always seemed to cling to him shifted, allowing Darly to see a side of Leonardo he’d never noticed before. There was vulnerability there—a rare, raw emotion hidden beneath Leonardo’s composed exterior.

“But…” Darly stammered, struggling to find his footing in this new reality. “You never told me. Either of you. Why keep it a secret?”

Leonardo pushed himself off the doorframe, stepping forward. His posture was no longer intimidating; he seemed almost…hopeful. “I didn’t know about this too. I just found out 14 hours ago,” Leonardo admitted, his voice low. “I never expected you to be my stepbrother and I would have believed it if I was told but I had to believe it. I was damn so worried when I heard they had taken you…I couldn’t stand it. No one threatens my family.”

Darly swallowed, trying to process this. The memories of his captors, the threats they made against Angel, the way he was almost killed by the same man who is now his stepbrother came rushing down his memories and he just couldn’t believe it. “Yet you tried to kill me” Darly said and Leonardo sighed.

“But something inside of me stopped me. Trust me if I wanted to kill someone, I don’t go back on my words or forgive but something stopped me” Leonardo muttered.

Darly blinked, feeling a strange warmth bloom in his chest. For so long, he had seen Leonardo as distant, unreachable—an intimidating figure who kept everyone at arm’s length. But this… He could see it now: Leonardo’s protectiveness, and the way his father stared at them with blink of tears, a relief seen In his eyes.

Mr. Cooper squeezed Darly’s shoulder, his eyes soft with emotion. “I taught he was dead and he also taught we were dead so either way we wanted to find each other”

Darly felt his throat tighten. It was all so overwhelming. Yet, a part of him yearned to embrace this new truth, to let go of any resentment, and to accept Leonardo as a part of him—a part of his family. He looked up at Leonardo, meeting his gaze squarely. “You came for me,” he murmured, his voice thick. “You didn’t have to…but you did.”

Leonardo’s expression softened further, and he stepped forward, closing the distance between them. Without hesitation, he reached out, wrapping his arms around Darly in a tight embrace. For a moment, Darly tensed, unused to the feeling. But then he relaxed, leaning into his brother’s hold, the warmth of the embrace filling the hollow spaces in his heart.

“You’re my brother,” Leonardo whispered, his voice low but steady. “I’ll always protect you, no matter what.”

Darly closed his eyes, feeling the depth of those words resonate within him. His hand gripped Leonardo’s back, returning the hug with a fierceness that surprised even him. For the first time, he felt a sense of security he hadn’t realized he was missing.

After a few moments, they pulled back, each man trying to hide the emotion in his eyes. Mr. Cooper looked on, his face filled with pride and relief. “This is how it should be,” he said quietly, smiling as he watched his sons, united in a bond that had always been there, even if unseen.

Darly took a shaky breath, laughing softly as he wiped the corner of his eye. “Guess I don’t mind calling you ‘big bro’… just this once.”

Leonardo chuckled, a rare sound that seemed to lighten the atmosphere. “I’ll take it,” he replied, a twinkle of amusement in his gaze.

Just then the door opened revealing Nicky. “What’s up bro?” She half yelled and wrapped her hand around him. Darly just chuckled and reciprocated the hug, his eyes still fixed on the door expecting that one person to show up.

“Can I go see angel? I need to know if she’s okay” Darly said. “Just a minor injury. She will be okay” Nicky replied.
He sighed softly still not satisfy with the answer he got. Just then the door opened and angel and Serena walked in.

“Baby girl?” Darly called. Angel smiled and hugged him. Leonardo rolled his eyes and walked out of the ward, and angel eyes watered yet again. “Why are you out here. You should be resting” Darly said. “I am discharged already. It was just a minor injury” Angel replied.

“Let’s just give the friends some time to talk” Mr Cooper said and they all walked out leaving the friends.

Darly picked an apple from the plate nearby and took a big bite on it while staring at angel. “Are you guys having a fight and don’t even try to hide it. It is obvious between both of you” Darly said.

Angel hissed. “I was just trying to save you and yet he is judging me. I am supposed to be the one angry here, not him” She half yelled, and Darly laughed.
“What you did was wrong” Darly said softly. Angel galred at him and huffed.

“I am serious baby girl. No matter how dear that person is to you, you can’t just jump into the trap thinking you can save him or her. Think before you act and Leonardo has every right to be angry with you” Darly said.
Angel sighed. “I told him I was sorry but he said I Wanted them to touch me. I don’t like the way he spoke to me” Angel said.

“Just settle. This doesn’t suit you guys” Darly said and they both laughed.

Angel stepped into the house and the maids were already waiting for her. They bowed down and took her bag before she rushed upstairs with Nicky.

Serena had something to take care of, Darly had to go home with his father so she had to come home with Nicky. Leonardo didn’t even bother showing up again.
As they walked upstairs, she sighted Leonardo and she quickly rushed towards him. “Where is Leonardo? She asked.

“He is having a meeting right no ” Matteo replied. She nodded, tears flickering in her eyes, and rushed to her room.

He was supposed to be there with him but he didn’t even care. All because they had quarrel or was it because she told him, she never wanted to see him again. But he should have know, she didn’t mean those words she said.

She took her phone out and went straight to goggle and searched. How to make your man forgive you when you do something wrong” She gogggled.

The answered was displayed immediately. There were many but one caught her attention. “You don’t really have to do anything but just wore the most sexist outfit of yours and find your man drolling over you. That’s the easiest way to make your man forgive you” She stratched her head as she read it and then suddenly smirked.

“It doesn’t matter giving it a try right?” She taught but suddenly frowned. “I don’t have like that outfit which means I have to ask Nicky for assistance” She smirked and quickly rushed out.

HEAD OVER HEELS : CHAPTER 101 – 110

The dimly lit basement echoed with the sharp clinks of metal chains and the low, guttural growls of the guard dogs prowling just beyond the shadows. Leonardo stood in the center, his silhouette cast long and foreboding across the concrete floor. His gaze was fixed on the man slumped in chains before him, Dante—an enemy who had dared to lay hands on the people Leonardo valued most.

Dante’s face was bruised, his body slack with exhaustion, but his eyes still held a flicker of defiance, though fear was now creeping in. He knew what Leonardo Giovanni was capable of, and tonight, he was going to find out just how deep that darkness ran.

Leonardo approached, his polished shoes silent against the cold floor. His voice was low, deadly calm. “You really thought you could harm Angel and walk away unscathed? That you could put her and her brother in danger and escape judgment?”

Dante spat blood on the floor, a twisted grin curling his lip. “She’s just another girl. A weakness, and she was already sold. She don’t belong to you.”

The word struck a nerve, a muscle in Leonardo’s jaw twitching as he closed the distance between them. “A weakness?” Leonardo repeated, his voice quiet, deadly. “I see no weakness in her—only in men like you who try to harm those who have done nothing to deserve it.”

Leonardo turned to his guard, giving a slight nod. The guard stepped forward and struck Dante hard across the jaw, sending his head snapping to the side. Dante let out a grunt of pain, but that flicker of defiance was gone, replaced by a growing sense of dread.

“You think you’re brave?” Leonardo said softly, studying Dante as though he were no more than an insect to be crushed. “After I told you to stay away from her, you didn’t listen to me and then taught you could go free?”

Dante swallowed hard, his bravado slipping. “I… I was only trying to get her to her real owner. Angel has been sold ever since she was 15″ Dante yelled.

Leonardo tilted his head, a cold smile playing at his lips. “hmmm. Convenient excuse. Don’t you think!” He nodded toward another guard, who disappeared momentarily and returned, leading a massive, jet-black dog with a muzzle full of sharp, gleaming teeth and eyes that shone with a savage hunger. The dog strained against the chain, catching the scent of blood in the air, its low growls filling the room.

Leonardo glanced at Dante, who had paled visibly. “I’m going to make sure you remember this lesson, Dante. That you never forget what happens when you cross a Giovanni.”

One of the guards stepped forward with a wickedly sharp blade in hand. Dante thrashed against his restraints, his voice rising with panic. “Wait! Leonardo, please—she wasn’t worth this! You don’t have to do this!”

Leonardo’s gaze turned icy. “Angel and Darly mean more to me than you’ll ever understand. And I will do whatever it takes to protect them. Never mess with the one to get the other.”

With a curt nod, Leonardo signaled to his guard. The guard seized Dante’s left arm, forcing it outward. Dante’s struggles grew frantic, his eyes wide with terror as he felt the cold steel pressed against his wrist. But there was no mercy in Leonardo’s eyes, only an unyielding resolve.

The blade sliced down, swift and precise. Dante’s scream echoed in the concrete chamber as his hand separated cleanly from his arm, blood spurting onto the floor in a gruesome spray. The guard tossed the severed hand across the room, where it landed with a sickening thud in front of the dog.

The beast lunged, jaws snapping, and tore into the hand with savage efficiency, devouring the flesh as Dante continued to scream, his voice breaking into hoarse, pitiful cries.

Leonardo watched impassively, hands clasped behind his back, his gaze cold and distant. Dante writhed, barely able to process the excruciating pain. His remaining hand clawed at the chains, desperate to escape, to get as far from this basement—and Leonardo—as possible.

After a moment, Leonardo took a step forward, crouching down until he was eye-level with Dante. His voice was soft, almost a whisper, but there was no mistaking the malice in it. “That was for Angel. Every drop of blood, every shred of pain, that was your price for laying a hand on her.”

“I told you I was going to feed you to my dogs and I wasn’t joking about it. I don’t go back to my words”

Dante’s eyes were glazed with pain, his breaths coming in ragged gasps. He mumbled, incoherent, but Leonardo silenced him with a quiet, lethal whisper. “I don’t think we’re quite finished. You wanted to act like an animal, so we’ll let the animals have their share.”

With a gesture, Leonardo signaled his guards, who unlocked Dante’s chains, pulling him from the post and dragging him across the floor. Dante struggled weakly, barely able to hold himself upright as they moved him toward the pack of dogs eagerly circling nearby. One of the guards pressed him down on his knees, and the dogs closed in, growling, snapping at the scent of his blood.

Leonardo turned, walking away as Dante’s final screams filled the basement, his voice breaking and fading under the ravenous growls of the animals. The door shut with a quiet click, leaving only the muffled sounds behind him.

As Leonardo emerged into the hall, his expression was stoic, unfeeling, as if he’d merely handled a routine matter of business. For him, this was justice—swift, merciless, and absolute. A promise that anyone who threatened those he cared for would meet the same fate.

HEAD OVER HEELS : CHAPTER 101 – 110

(12: 30 Pm)

Here’s the edited text as previously done:

Angel took a nervous gulp, straightening her hair before knocking on the door. When there was no response, she gently walked in, finding Leonardo standing on the balcony, not even bothering to turn around. He probably knew it was her.

“Leonardo,” she called in her sweetest voice, but he still didn’t turn. Swallowing her nerves, she slowly approached him, wrapping her arms around his waist from behind.

Leonardo chuckled softly, finally turning to look at her. Angel’s eyes widened as she took in his expression, feeling his gaze sweep over her. She was dressed in a short pair of shorts, a bra, and an open pajama top. Her wet, straightened hair framed her face, giving her a goddess-like look.

“Little kitten?” he teased, his eyes darkening with interest as he checked her out, a smirk forming on his lips.

She bit her lip, trying to gather her courage. “I looked this up on Google,” she admitted, twiddling her fingers shyly. “I know I messed up, so I wanted to ask for forgiveness.”

Leonardo couldn’t help but smile. As she let her pajama top slide off her shoulders, his eyes widened slightly in surprise, but his amusement never faltered.

“Are you really sure you want this, sweetheart, or are you just trying to please me?” he asked, his voice a low, husky whisper as he leaned in, nipping at her earlobe. She shivered, her reply caught in her throat.

“Take off the rest, sweetheart. I want you as you are,” he commanded softly. Angel’s breath quickened as she hesitated before taking off the remaining pieces, feeling his gaze on her. When she finally stood naked before him, his eyes roamed over her with a smirk.

He held her gaze for a moment, then suddenly burst into laughter, making her frown in confusion.

Picking up her discarded pajamas, he draped them over her shoulders. “I don’t want you doing this just because you think I need it,” he whispered. “I’ll wait for our wedding night.”

Angel pouted, playfully hitting his chest. “You made me go through all this, I got naked , and now you’re backing out? My God will judge you!” she mock-scolded, half-yelling.

Leonardo laughed. “You came to me, sweetheart. Do you think He’ll approve when we’re not even married?” he teased, raising an eyebrow at her.

she grumbled made to leave, he scooped her up in a bridal style, making her gasp. “Let’s take a bath together,” he murmured, carrying her toward the bathroom.
