VALERIE’S ROOM

Valerie rushed into the room panicking greatly.

She locked the door behind her and brought out her phone immediately, dialling Derek’s number.

He picked up immediately and as usual, she was doing FaceTime.

“You called just few minutes ago, it’s unusual for you to call more than two times a day.” Derek said and she shook her head.

“Dad, there’s a problem.” She said, worriedly.

“What’s it Madi?” Derek asked.

“I think Theo suspects me. I don’t know if he thinks I’m Madison but he just doesn’t trusts me, ion why.

His digging into my lifestyle. Dad I’m scared, what if he finds out who I really am.” She panicked.

“Calm down Madi, he can’t find out. You got your surgery done in Switzerland, not here. Your information are private-“

“Even if, dad he has his way. He can find out whatever he needed to know whenever he likes… Haa…” She sighed tiredly.

“I know, until I didn’t really think it was necessary. But seems Theo isn’t like Evie.

No doubts he suspects you, who wouldn’t. You became close to Evie out of the blue.

Everyone knows how Evie hates mingling with people especially those beneath her and she chose you.

He’s a smart guy I must say but we’ll have to cut every suspicion he has for you, okay?” Derek asked and she nodded.

“First, we’ll work on your identity. I only created an identity for this current years but now, I’ll have to come up with fake parents for.

Fake background, and your fake childhood life. That will be enough to convince him.” He added and she nodded.

“Yes. For now, I’ll try to buy time. I’ll try to make sure he doesn’t suspects me.” She said and Derek nodded.

“Thanks dad.” She said.

“Always welcome dear.”

She ended the call and laid on the bed, exhaling.

“Why is things not going as I planned it? Haa, I shouldn’t have ignored these pointers.

Now, I’ll have to make sure he doesn’t suspects anything.” She said and sat up.

“But he doesn’t think I’m Madi, does he??” She thought, confused.

“Haaaa.” She sighed for the umpteenth time that day.

LEROY’S MANSION

Alecia finished setting the table on the terrace and smiled happily. A table for two, sweet dishes on the table, the ro.mantic decoration of the place gave it that dinner date vibes.

“All done, now let’s check if he’s back.” She said with a smile, before leaving the terrace.

She got to the their room to meet Leroy already in the room, he was unbuttoning his shirt.

“Hey! You’re back. I’ve been waiting.” She said and Leroy turned to her. Her eyes widened when she saw his bare chest.

She immediately turned around.

“Oh… I’m sorry. I’ll wait outside till you change.” She said and rushed out.

Leroy chuckled.

Few minutes later, Leroy came out of the room already dressed. Alecia who was standing by the rails turned to him with a smile.

“You- you’re done.” She said slowly. She didn’t know why she was suddenly getting nervous around him, maybe because he helped her, it wouldn’t be nice to act tough with him.

Leroy only nodded.

“Come with me.” She said walking to him.

“Where to?” He asked.

“You’ll find out when we get there okay.” She said and pulled his hand.
