They got to the terrace and Leroy gave her a questioning glance.

“Dinner.” She said.

“Why here?”

“Don’t you like it?” She asked and he glanced at her.

“Not that-“

“Let’s go.” She dragged him over and made him seat on the chair. She sat opposite him.

She dished out plate of rice for him and served herself as well. She opened the wine and poured on a good amount of quantity for herself and for him.

“Okay, can you tell me what’s going on? What’s all this for?” He asked and Alecia chuckled.

“Nothing. I just want us to eat together, like couples. You get that?” She asked and Leroy looked at her before laughing softly.

Alecia chuckled as well.

“Couples?? Remember it’s a fake marriage. It’s just for three months so all these aren’t necessary.” Leroy said and she nodded.

“I know, and I’m not trying to change that… I just felt like eating here with someone.” She said and Leroy simply shrugged, picking up his cutleries.

Alecia did as well and they began eating in an total silent.

“Errmm…” Alecia cleared her throat.

“Actually, I wanted to say thank you for helping me settle my mom’s hospital bill and also helping me get a role. Honestly, I didn’t expect you .” She started.

“I knew it.” Leroy said and she nodded.

“And also, I got a call from T~M ENTERTAINMENT, they need my service.” She said and Leroy smiled.

“Thank you.” She said, only God knew how much she stopping herself from going crazy.

Since she got the call earlier today, she has been screaming nonstop. She didn’t know anymore way to thank him than this.

“Thank you so much Leroy. I owe you for this favor.” She said and Leroy smirked.

“Really?? You owe me??” He asked and she slowly nodded, wondering if she said something wrong.

“Wow. That’s to my advantage.” He said.

EVIE’S MANSION

After successfully putting Leo to sleep, Valerie left his room and as she made to go downstairs, she passed through Jeffrey’s room and paused.

She went back and saw him pressing on his laptop vigorously. She creased her brows wondering what he must be doing. His attention was fully into what he was doing.

Her eyes narrowed when the thought of him finding out about her crossed her mind.

She immediately rushed into the room and Jeffrey looked up, she smiled funnily.

“What are you doing here?” He asked and she raised a brow, putting her lips.

“Ermm… I…” She stuttered, lost of words.

“Actually I-” Jeffrey shook his head and made to return his gaze to his laptop but Valerie immediately shut it and took the laptop.

Jeffrey raised his brows.

“What’s that?” He asked.

“Actually, it’s late. You should go to sleep now. What are you doing?” She asked.

“It’s none of your business. Give it to me.” He said, stretching his hand forth.

“No. You’re working too much, you should get a rest. I’ll keep this laptop with me till tomorrow. Now go to sleep.” She said and Jeffrey arched his brows.

Was that supposed to be her business.

“Goodnight.” She said and began walking out of the room casually tho she wished to run out before he stopped her but she was restraining herself.

Jeffrey grabbed her arm and tried collecting the laptop from her but she raised it up.

Jeffrey raised his hands as well and the two began dragging the laptop.

“Let go.” Valerie said and Jeffrey scoffed. He held her wrist and took the laptop from her.

Her eyes widened, she tried collecting it from him but he was taller.

“Give it to me!” She said, pushing him.

She pushed him and he fell on the bed, dragging her along.

They began staring into each other eyes.
