How dare it???
Who the hell broke the ice?
His eyes darted back to Twilight who’s still crying under the peach tree, and every thought of consoling her with a hug disappeared from his mind immediately.
He was glaring as he walked out of the garden.
His coat brushed a short flower tree, and the contact made a faint noise which alerted Twilight.
She stood and turned around, but the only thing she saw was his back view as he walked out.
She rushed out of the garden.
“Killa!” He hollered, but when she got out of the garden, he was already gone.
She looked around, sniffling and wiping the tears on her face, but he’s really really gone.
She stilled when she suddenly felt a presence behind herself.
It’s dark energy, just like Slade’s own, but somehow, her body recognizes Slade’s darkness, so she’s sure it’s not him.
She swiftly turned, taking the person by the arm and trying to flip, but she couldn’t.
Instead, the person gripped her arm tightly.
“Ahh!” She winced, looking up to see the face.
It’s Elijah.
He’s smiling sassily as he spoke…
“You flipped me once with the physical energy, but you won’t be able to do it again. You can only do it continuously if I don’t have the ring” he said, waving his second hand which has the ring.
“Why did you kill Tanya? Why did you kill Isobel? And every other student you killed?” She questioned.
Elijah let go of her arm, but she didn’t stop glaring at him, demanding instantaneous answer.
“I killed them because I wanted to, and I enjoyed it. Is that enough for an answer?” He said.
Twilight’s tooth clenched, and she angrily charged forward, throwing punches at his chest repeatedly.
“They did nothing to you! Why? And you even had to do it with Slade’s face? Why!!” She demanded, still hitting him.
Elijah caught her fragile slim wrists, stopping her from throwing another hit.
“Do you even eat? Why are you so damn small?” He mocked with a chuckle.
“Answer my question!” She snapped, her eyes already turning a shade of wine colour.
“Are you mad that I’m using your master’s face to commit murders? Too bad you can’t do anything to me” he smiled again, enjoying her rants.
“Pig!!” Twilight spat and tried taking her wrists from him, but she couldn’t, so it turned to a struggle.
“Let me go!” Twilight gritted.
“Not so quick, moonslave” Elijah replied.
They were still on it when Tamlin entered the place.
He made to take Twilight away from Elijah, but Elijah already released her before he could.
“I get decide when to release my prey, no one does it for me” Elijah said.
“Who are you?” Tamlin questioned.
“Why is everybody questioning me today? Well… Elijah Luther by name, the new university doctor” Elijah squinted.
“Luther? You’re the third sibling of Slade, and who made you the new doctor!” Tamlin grinded out with a glare.
“I’m not open to questions anymore. Aren’t you Lord Vann’s son? Ask him” Elijah nodded and faced Twilight.
“See you around, moonslave” he waved with two fingers before leaving.
Tamlin saw the ring on his finger as he walked away, and he couldn’t blink till he went out of sight, then he faced Twilight.
“Did he hurt you?” He asked.
“No I’m fine” she replied.
“And what did he just call you? Moon what? Slave?” Tamlin asked again.
“I need to attend the burial” Twilight said and made to leave…
“Wait… You have a lash on your face” he tried to remove it, but before he could touch, she stepped back.
“I said I’m fine”.
