HER HEARTLESS MONSTER : CHAPTER 11 – 20
INFIRMARY*
Twilight woke on a soft bed in a warm room, and she turned her head softly on the pillow, blinking her blurry eyes slowly.
Judging by the smell of herbs and antiseptics, she’s surely in the infirmary, but how did she get here?
Her palms has been treated and bandaged, she could feel the wool on them.
She raised her right palm to her forehead and touched, moaning gently, then she remembered she actually passed out at the firewoods arena.
“Damn Lady Lorraine” she muttered.
“You hate my mother that much?” Tamlin’s voice came beside her, and she quickly sat up to see him standing beside the bed, staring down at her.
“Tamlin? What are you doing here?” She questioned.
“I think now is the time you thank me for bringing you here, not asking questions” Tamlin replied cockily, and she scoffed.
“Thank you for bringing me here, Tamlin Wesley” she bowed, and he smiled, taking his seat on the stool beside the bed.
He brought his hand forward and tried touching her forehead to check her temperature, but she bent back.
“I’m fine” she said, but he pulled her back and checked her temperature anyways.
“No one turns me down, and you won’t start that list” he said.
“Do you know you’re arrogant?” She replied.
“You have pride too, so I guess we’re a team” he said.
“You wish” she rolled eyes and got down from the bed.
Dr. Kali came into the ward.
“How are you feeling now?” She asked worriedly, and Tamlin immediately exited the room.
“I’m better, thanks to you” Twilight said, and the woman came closer.
“I made the warning clear, Twilight. Why did you drag your friend out in the middle of the night?” She said.
“Believe me it was Tanya who ran out, and I only ran after her to stop her. I guess the students at my tower hates me, and that’s why they’re all saying I forced her out” she said.
“I went to get a restock of my herbs, so I wasn’t in the castle when Lorraine was punishing you.” Kali sighed.
“Even if you were, you wouldn’t be able to stop her. Echo was right, she’s wicked, but thankfully, i disgraced her” Twilight said.
“How did you do it? I went to the firewood place and saw the woods you destroyed. Are you a witch?” Kali shadowed her eyes.
“What! No! I think my hatred for Slade fueled my energy. I was able to do it immediately my eyes met with his own. My rage makes me energetic, I think” she quickly replied.
“Slade?” Dr. Kali said in confusion.
“Thanks for the treatment, Kali” Twilight smiled shortly and left the infirmary.
Kali’s brows remained rumpled in confusion as she stood still on her spot, unable to pinpoint anything.
“Is there something her father isn’t telling me?” She muttered, finally moving.
“No. She can’t get involved with Slade. She just can’t, I need to call Greg.” She said, rushing out.

“Welcome back!” Echo blocked Twilight in front of the infirmary, and Twilight smiled as she drew her into a big hug.
“Thanks for disgracing Lady Lorraine. I’m sure the university will talk about it for a while” she said.
“It’s my pleasure” Twilight replied.
“Damien and Rihannon had to go to class since they have two, and Tamlin did well too…he brought you here” Echo continued as they walked away from the infirmary.
“That arrogant jerk” Twilight muttered, and Echo smiled.
“For real, he was cool, and he’s kinda hot if you ask me” Echo nudged her.
“Ion think this is the right time to talk about boys when I’m still mourning Tanya” Twilight said.
“Right, I’m sorry” Echo quickly replied, and Twilight nodded as they made their way to the gate side where they met the doormen.
They were led to a room where Tanya’s body was lay on a stretcher.
Her skin is completely purple already, and her head is still wrapped, but she has been cleaned up, and she’s wearing new white gown right now.
“My name is Tanya, and I love the way you smell like jasmine”
Her words sounded in Twilight’s ears, and Twilight almost started crying again when she remembered how she cried just because they were given different rooms.
Echo had to massage her shoulder to console her, and she sniffled, fighting back her tears.
It’s obvious that this school is not for her, and she’s gonna leave, but before leaving, she has just one mission.
She’s gonna kill Slade.
