HER HEARTLESS MONSTER : CHAPTER 111 – 120

A intentional smirk curled Slade’s lips, and he took his hand away from her chin, bringing it to her right cheek.

Five minutes gone.

“See? You were speechless” he said, stroking her cheek slowly with his thumb.

“You…

“Shh” he brought a finger to her lips.

“You’re cute when I cut you off” he said, and her brows rumpled cutely.

“Devil” She pushed his chest back and started walking fast away from him.

“Formidable monster”

“He shouldn’t be among humans at all. He deserves to be in the sun so he’d get burnt to death”

She was muttering silently as she walked.

“You know I can hear you, right?” Slade said, picking up her shawl and fallen phone.

“Whatever” she mumbled, but then she suddenly couldn’t move anymore. It’s like her foot gummed to one spot.

She knew it’s him, so she stopped.

“Jerk”

Slade smiled secretly, taking his eyes off her before looking at her phone.

The water ruined it already, so he removed her card and threw it down the mountain before joining her, both so wet from the downpour.

The rain is starting to stop.

He took her hand, but she broke free, glaring.

“I can walk by myself”

Slade almost chuckled, but he had to hold himself.

The excitement he’s getting from her anger right now is priceless.

Anger excites him just like pain and hate does, and her own anger is so darn cute that he wants to keep saying things to annoy her all night.

It’s the first time he’s seeing this side of her, and it’s a breath of fresh air.

Twilight ticked her head aside, slowly rolling her eyes back to him.

“You better go back down the mountain, I’m spending the night at the temple, and there’s no space for a monster” she said.

In the next minute, Slade picked her up, carrying her in his arms easily.

“Kils!” She gasped.

“Even if I have to send the priests out of their beds tonight, I’m sleeping wherever you sleep” he said.

“They won’t allow you, their prayers will probably set you on fire” she sneered as he began walking.

“That is of I don’t set them on fire first” he replied.

“Don’t do that!” She frowned, wrapping her arms on his neck for balance.

They’re almost back at the temple right now, and the rain stopped completely.

“Don’t try that again” he suddenly said.

“Try what?”

“Disappearing without leaving a trace” he replied, giving her a look which made her blink as he finally entered the temple.

The front yard is now clear, and the priests are preparing to retire for the night too.

“Twilight?” The chief priest came to them, surprised to see her in Slade’s arms.

She made to come down, but Slade didn’t give her the chance.

“Your…” The priest said.

“My…” Twilight replied, unsure of what to say.

She can’t introduce him as her professor. A professor won’t carry his student in his arms like this.

“Her owner” Slade spoke up, and her eyes popped.

“Owner?” The priest blinked.

“Yeah. Is there an available room? As you can see, we can’t go back down the mountain” Slade said nonchalantly.

“Of course! There’s a room at the end of the yard. I hope you have a good night” the priest replied.

“Thank you” Twilight appreciated as Slade took her down the yard.

After they went out of sight, the priest got a phone out of his robe, dialling a number.

“Cancel the plan. Slade is with her” he said, hanging up afterwards.

He looked around before leaving.
