“Shit!! Shit!!! How the fûck did we lose the twenty staffs that went for the operation? How did it fuçking happen!!” The head of staff ranted.
The remaining staffs are all sitting around, looking disturbed too.
The lost lives are like nothing cos they’re still so many.
“K said the coast was clear, we confidently sent twenty staffs because of him. How did they know our staffs were coming?” one of them said.
“According to our spy, it was the moonslave who alerted the Luther brothers” The head of staff said.
“The moonslave? Is she a seer? I don’t understand. Let’s kill her then, she can’t continue hindering things” another staff said.
“I’ll call K” the head of staff replied, leaving the room.

UOG, PARK*
Grandpa Cedric’s car halted in the organized park, and he was already beaming before coming down.
The time is 6:30pm, night is starting to set in.
Twilight rushed all the way to the park, and the old man smiled wider.
He actually called before coming.
He came with a maid, and the maid handed Twilight a basketful of provisions and whatnot.
“Slade got me more than enough provisions already” she said.
“It’s never too much. If only you know how much I like you, I wish there’s another way to lift the curse,but for now, just enjoy” the old man replied, and Twilight took the basket appreciatively.
“Do you have a bank account?” Grandpa Cedric asked.
“Not yet” Twilight replied.
“Then have this” Cedric gave her a card, and she blinked.
“That’s one of my bank cards, you can change the name on the account to yours anytime you want, there’s enough money, just spend” the man said, and Twilight gasped.
Before she could even think of taking it, Slade appeared, standing in front of her.
“Are you bribing her?” he said.
“I’m only taking care of her, don’t be too strict” Cedric replied, his grey lids batting.
“I have numerous bank cards too, so keep yours. She doesn’t even know how to use a bank card yet” Slade said seriously.
Twilight bit her lip. It’s true, she has never even been to a bank before.
“Fine, and I also came to congratulate you on claiming your office.” Cedric replied.
“No need for it, you should be resting back home” Slade replied.
“Fineee, nitpicker. I’ll return home and rest” Grandpa Cedric grinned, going back into his car.
“Bye, Twilight” he waved at her, and she returned it as he drove out.
“He’s super nice” Twilight said.
“Go back to your room, I’ll text you when I’m done. Uriel and Elijah are awaiting me at the infirmary” he replied.
“Is it about the unknown K guy?” She asked.
“Yeah” he replied.
She moved closer, taking his left hand to hold gently.
“Goodnight, Onyx will be eating dinner with I and my friends” she said, looking up into his eyes.
Slade brushed her soft hair back with his left fingers, and Twilight smiled.
“Go back” he said.
With one nod, she walked back into her tower.
He watched her go in before making his way to the infirmary.
