HER HEARTLESS MONSTER : CHAPTER 21 – 30
“Hands up, everyone!” Tamlin’s voice came, and a pause happened immediately.
Everyone let go of Twilight and raised up their hands except Posey and Ren who’re still holding her hair.
The girls made way for Tamlin, and he came forward with Ruslan.
“Hands off her” he ordered.
“She shot Slade!” Ren glared
“No. She killed him already” Posey added.
“Am I supposed to start crying?” Tamlin scoffed, and the two blinked.
“I’m not Imogen, so if you want this to end with your complete set of teeth, then let her go” Tamlin continued.
Posey was the first to let go of her hair, then Ren did the same.
“This isn’t over” Posey told Twilight, then the two left the corridor.
“Come with me” Tamlin took Twilight’s hand, dragging her away.
“Are you ok?” Ruslan asked, and Echo looked up, brushing her hair with her fingers.
“Huh? Yeah…sure” she awkwardly said, and he nodded before walking away too.
She was still admiring his back side, reminiscing about their chats last night when Rihannon and Damien joined her.
“Is it true?” Rihannon asked urgently.
“Yes. She really shot Slade, right in front of everyone” Echo replied.
“Is she setting herself up for hatred? They’d hate her!” Rihannon said.
“But why? That man is a killer, and they should be happy she got killed” Echo replied.
“It doesn’t work that way, Slade is the most brilliant professor in this university, so he’s cherished by the council of sponsors, and also, no one ever asks for the body of the students he kills so it’s safe.” Damien explained.
“So because the students he kills are nobodies, he’s free to continue killing? Who even knows if he’s the one kidnapping the missing students every month, and then the girls love him despite the darkness surrounding him. Is everyone mad in this school?” Echo said.
“Look…you have every right to get angry, but have it in mind that this school is not your usual type of university, so just chill out” Rihannon said.
“And who exactly is he anyways? What’s his family history?” Echo asked.
“No one knows the family he comes from, cos he grew up at Arcade Home too” Damien shrugged.
“What? Arcade Home? Isn’t that the name of the orphanage?” Echo muttered.
“Yeah, and enough of the chats, we should look for Twilight before Lady Lorraine gets to her” Rihannon said, leading the way.
“Let’s go” Damien told Echo, and she followed with a nod.

LIBRARY*
Tamlin took Twilight to the old big library and made her settle down on a chair.
He made to arrange her hair with his fingers, but she shifted back, doing it herself.
He sighed and took off his jacket, covering her with it too, but she took it off and dropped it on the table immediately.
“Do you hate me this much? Are you allergic to me? Why can’t I touch you!” Tamlin glared.
“Why would you touch me?” She replied, looking up.
Tamlin opened his mouth to talk, but nothing came out cos Ruslan entered the library.
They’re the only three inside cos Tamlin sent out everyone when he came in with Twilight earlier.
“What’s going on?” Ruslan asked.
“Nothing” Tamlin said curtly, turning away from Twilight who’s still arranging her hair.
“Where did you get the gun?” Ruslan asked.
“My pa gave it to me when I was coming here” she replied simply.
“Crap” Ruslan said.
“At least I didn’t kill anyone innocent with it, and I hope he dies and burn in hell” Twilight said, and Tamlin smiled, turning back to face her.
“You’re something else” he said, and his smile graduated to a loud laughter which made her smirk.
She stood and started walking around the shelves, and she was surprised to see romance novels, many of them on a secluded part of the shelf.
They’re much, and she hugged the shelf.
“Why haven’t I visited this library before?” She gushed and started checking out the books, especially the erotic ones.
