“She’s ready your majesty. Just let her pay for her wrong deeds”. The Queen Mother said from her throne as the Emperor’s gaze were stuck on Jade’s.
“As her father, I don’t object. I birthed a monster and I’m ready to see her in pains as a purnishment for killing many lives….
“Shut it”. Emperor Damien cut him off turning to glare at Minister Wang who instantly returned to bowing to avoid the Emperors gaze.
“I hate slow poisons and if you don’t caution yourself while in front of me next time I’ll not only cut off your tongue but throw you out of office also!”. The Emperor threatened and Minister Wang immediately bowed.
“I should be punish for annoying you Emperor!”. Minister Wang stated and his wives and children joined.
“Please forgive our lord your majesty!”.The ladies and girls said while Asa only rolled eyes at them not following them to plead ignoring her mother’s glare.
“You all really want her to be punished for her deeds right?”. The Emperor’s voice came.
“Yes your majesty!!”. Everyone chorused.
“Let’s go to the execution ground then”. Emperor Damien said before walking out of the court in anger and everyone cheered angrily while Jade was shook for a second on her knees.
Two guards instantly appeared from no where with spears in their hands they pulled her up from the ground roughly and began pushing her out of the court.
They pushed her roughly to the extent she fell heavily to the ground hurting her knees and everyone broke into laughter while Sindura blinked pitifully, Damon on the other hand was pissed Damien wanted Jade dead.
‘Should i just safe her myself?’. Damon thought within himself and Sindura quickly faced him.
“You can? Please help her”. Sindura pleaded holding Damon’s hand but he shoved her hand away.
“Don’t you ever read my mind again unless you cherish so much”. Damon glared before leaving crowd to the execution ground.
Han sighed sadly following the crowd as he caught a glimpse of his father who smiled at him, but he only glared at him before walking out.
“That punk doesn’t know I’m doing all this for him”. Minister Zhuo scoffed at Han’s attitude before leaving also.

EXECUTION GROUND
Everyone stood in a huge circle leaving the middle empty. The Queen Mother stood amongst the ministers while the Emperor stood right in the circle facing kneeling Jade.
For some reason his knees hurts and he glanced at Jade’s knees only to see she was bleeding slowly from her knees as result of the push. His veins became visible in anger but he held it in.
Jade’s head was lowered, fidgeting on her fingers as she tried hiding her huge pants.
Then the head guard stepped forward and the mumbling crowd became drop down silent.
“Today noon in the month of the rabbit, a witch will be purnished for slaughtering lives and destroying properties at the city’s main market Yan market. According to Yongxi’s two years old law she’ll be punished through the divine lightening whip bestowed unto our great Emperor by the heavens so as to put criminals in the right track. Three strikes of the heavenly whip is what she’s to receive to make atonement for her sins!!”. The head guard said reading from a purple scroll.
“Yesssss!!”. Everyone shouted in acceptance and Jade began shaking completely as her eyes widened madly.
‘I must have gone crazy? Did I just agree to get purnished? No! Mistake…it was a mistake..they can’t take it serious!’. Jade’s mind screamed as she looked around witg shocked eyes, seeing the pity look on Asa and Kai’s face her mind became more restless, then her eyes finally landed on the Emperor standing right in front of her, his eyes glaring deep at her from his mask and she gulped down nothing.
‘I said what I said by mistake you can’t possibly kill a young girl like me!’. Jade said in her head knowing fully well the Emperor would hear her and he did but he ignored her, then the Emperor stretched out his right hand and immediately a golden electric long chain appeared right in his hand and everyone cheered happily while Jade from kneeling fell straight to the ground in shock, the chain was so long and heavy that a little contact with the ground it broke the ground to pieces.
“And the strikes starts now!!”. The head guard stated and Jade quickly shook her head slowly shifting backwards as the Emperor raised up the chain in his hand to strike her and everywhere became filled with joy and laughter as they anticipated the strike.
“No please!!…Ahh!!”. Jade screamed loudly, her eyes shut as she heardthe loud sound of heavy lightening chain touch skin and then the vibration of the ground but worse was the huge silence in the crowd.
Blood began dripping to the ground and Jade’s tears wouldn’t stop pouring continuously as she held her vibrating body tight trying to touch were she was lashed in her arms but surprisingly she felt nothing and flipped open her eyes to see what happened only to be shocked when the second strike came and instead of whipping her with the chsin the Emperor whipped himself for the second time and this time around his robe tore from behind, tearing his skin also as he fell to his knees right before Jade who was as shocked as the people.
“What’s…he..doing?”. Mina stuttered fearfully with widened eyes as they all watch the Emperor’s blood drip to the ground forming a huge pool already.
The Emperor raised up his hands his strike himself again but this time Kai went on his knees and everyone went on their knees also with their heads bowed pleading with the Emperor.
“Please stop your majesty!! We’re sorry for compeling you to carry out the execution!!”. Everyone chorused in shaky voice not yet digesting what they just saw.
“They love him that much”. Damon scoffed from where he hid watching with Sindura who rolled eyes at him.
“He’s a legend. I love how he looked out for her, too bad I’m a demon”. Sindura muttered and Damon made her faced him.
“Why shouldn’t you be a demon? Wow?! You have eyes for Damien but want to marry me? Why?! So you could poison me and sell my clan to your crush?!”. Damon snapped in rage and Sindura shook her head in justification.
“No. I just meant like I admired his form of leadership not letting everyone bully…
“Now i get why you’re here. You came here to catch a glimpse of him didn’t you..
“No i didnt mean it that way. Why are you talking like this…
“You dare cut the demon king off when he speaks!! Drago!!”. Damon called his anger doubling and Sindura’s eyes widened as Damon’s most feared soldier appeared before him.
“Seize her and through her into the dark lake”. Damon ordered and Sindura began shaking in fear.
“Please don’t let me go there…
Sindura wasn’t done speaking when Drago grabbed her and disappeared with her.
“Cheat”. Damon spat going back to where the crowd knelt begging the Emperor who was completely injured and he smirked.
“Last strike. Means you loose your powers Damien. I need to get my army ready, we’ll soon be taking over the whole of the tenth providence”. Damon smirked pulling closer to enjoy the show.
“Please your majesty! Please don’t strike yourself anymore!!”. The Queen Mother yelled loudly and everyone joined her.
“If you loose your powers you might die from weakness!!”. Minister Ling yelled and many people began crying out of fear of loosing the Emperor.
“What if the demons invades our kingdom!! Who’ll protect us all your majesty!!”. Minister Zhuo screamed out with all his lungs and Han couldn’t help but find him irritating.
“He only thinks of himself!”. Han spat in rage.
“Please forgive us your majesty!!”. The whole crowd chanted but the Emperor’s full gaze were on Jade who didn’t move from the ground, as she was still gripped in shock.
“Three strikes is three strikes”. The Emperor muttered his mouth and lips completely bloody as one of his hand held his chest tight while the second hand raised up the chain to release the third strike.
“All for that witch?! This madness got to stop!!”. The Queen Mother screamed out and Mina ran to the Emperor holding his hands to stop him.
“Please stop this your majesty! She isn’t worth it!!”. Mina screamed but a push from the Emperor sent her back to where her shocked parents knelt and she coughed out blood cause of how roughly she landed.
Jade moved closer to the Emperor.
“Just give me the last strike…
