Everyone continued pleading shouting continuously and the Emperor held his sword tight and began walking out of the inn making Jade’s eyes to widen as she ran after him.

“What?! You can go out there it’s dangerous”. Jade said holding the tip of the Emperor’s sleeve and he turned to face her.

“Stay back and don’t come out”. He said but Jade quickly shook her head and Damon scoffed.

“Just go suppress the Asuras and don’t waste our time here Damien!”. Damon said and Sindura frowned at him, while the Emperor threw him a sharp glare, but Jade still held his cloth.

“No i want to come with you…

“Jade listen and don’t come out”. The Emperor said more sternly this time around and Jade left him sadly walking to sit down on a table in the joint and the Emperor’s eyes followed her till she was fully sitted and he walked out of the inn but Jade instantly stood up running to the window to watch what was going on outside, her eyes filled with worry and concern.

The inn manager and everyone else present in the inn ran to watch also.

They saw the Emperor’s phoenix wings fully push out spreading marvelously and super bright with its gold and red color.

Their eyes widened instantly exchanging glances.

“That’s–the Emperor!!! In my inn! I told you all! Even Shenghai spent the night here few weeks back!! Now you know i wasn’t drunk!!”. The inn manager screamed at evryone else who watched in awe, while few rolled eyes at.

His sword completely lit brightly in his grip as he flew up into the sky using his sword to cause a huge storm that brought fought rain to quench the fire burning everyone to death, then he landed back on earth and began slaying each and every of the Asuras but it was a very tough fit to slay an Asura even though he had the upper hand.

Sindura glanced at Damon giving him a questionable look and he faced her.

“Do you need anything?…

“Aren’t you powerful also? You want the Emperor to do all the work himself?!”. She snapped at Damon whose eyes widened as he moved.

“Did–you just raise your voice at me? Are you forgetting we demons have nothing to do with this goody heads, let them fight their battle it’s none of our business…

Damon wasn’t done talking when Sindura slapped him hard across his face and everyone turned to face them with shocked looks on their faces.

*She just slapped the demon King*

*She’s dead*

Jade’s gaze couldn’t leave the window as she stared at the Emperor all through.

“Who are the us? I’m not a demon like you!!”. Sindura snapped and Damon’s eyes burned with anger as he gripped her arm tight pulling her closer, and her chest met with his.

“How dare you slap me!”. Damon growled his red eyes glaring daggers at her clean gray eyeballs, his fingers sunked deep into her soft skin and Sindura’s eyes widened fear gripping her entire bone as she struggled for her release.

“Leave me alone. It was a mistake”. Sindura muttered her voice frail and scattered, but Damon’s glare on her only worsened as his fingers sunked deeper making her blood spill out of the particular place he held her.

“Ahh!!”. Sindura cried out in pain and that was when Jade turned to face them, while everyone gasped loudly as they went to hide thinking Damon would kill them if he was done with her.

“Why do you stare at me like that? You don’t know me? Or you’re just pretending? Tell Sindura what’s wrong with your eyes?!”. Damon snapped loudly and Sindura flinched in fright.

“I–don’t know what you’re talking about. Please just leave me alone–i won’t dare slap you again”. Sindura stuttered fearfully but Damon only scoffed not buying any of it, as he made he made to grip her neck when Jade came between them.

“Leave her alone!!”. Jade snapped and Damon grinned before gripping her neck tight and she began choking, while Sindura and everyone else’s eyes widened.

“You don’t even mind your business? This was exactly what you did to me last time remember? You think cause you have a shaky power you’re above everyone else?! I’ll show you who exactly is the boss here”.

Damon smirked throwing Jade across the place and she hit her back on a long wooden table before landing on the ground.

“You’ll be a threat if Damien doesn’t hands you over to me. I’ll just end everything now that he’s not here to save you”. Damon muttered bringing out his sword and rushing to attack Jade who immediately looked away in fear.

“Stop if you want this back!!”. Sindura suddenly yelled from behind and Damon turned to face her only to see the medallion he collected from Sindara with her and his eyes widened checking his inner robe for the bronze medallion but it was no where to be found.

Sindura must have taken it when he was strangling her and Damon chuckled walking slowly to Sindura who starggered backwards.

“I’ve left her. So just be the good girl you’ve always been and give it back”. Damon said a creepy smile playing on his face as he streched forth his right hand, while he moved closer to Sindura who still moved backward, trying to hide her trembling features.

“Sindu what’s holding you back. Give it to me”. Damon said and Sindura made to give it when..

“No! Don’t!”. Jade shouted getting and limping to them.

“I think you have the potential to stop the war. Go out and show the army the medallion they’ll surely listen to you and retreat”. Jade said making Sindura blink in confusion.

“You like getting on my nerves don’t you?!”. Damon snapped approaching Jade but she ran to hide behind Sindura.

“Go now, before the Emperor gets injured badly!”. Jade said to Sindura pushing her outside and Damon made a dark energy in his hands before making to send it at them but before it could get to them, the Asuras threw another fireball at the inn this time and everyone fell to the ground as the place shook.

They had been fighting with the Emperor but seeing how easily he killed the others they left him to continue their mission of reducing the number of people in the kingdom.
