•RICHARD’S VILLA•
Coming out from the bathroom, Richard sees Kristin sitting on the couch in the living room watching Tv. She has the ring Richard gave to her in her left finger.
Kristin was focused on the hamburgers being shown on Tv, unaware that Richard was watching her.
Richard’s eyes were on her, reminiscing on how beautiful she looked when she dressed elegantly earlier.
Even until now, her beauty was sparkling like a morning sun, she was so attractive that Richard’s eyes glued on her face.
He shook his head to snap out of his thought. He hates women, and he shouldn’t be getting attracted to Kristin.
He loathes women, and he’d continue doing so, Kristin isn’t exceptional, she is just a commoner from Glenwood, Richard thought to himself. He was going back to his room, when Kristin’s voice stopped him.
“Wow, those hamburgers will be so delicious. I wish I could have one now, I haven’t eaten hamburgers before cuz I live in the poorest part of Glenwood ” Kristin muttered to herself, craving for the hamburgers on Tv.
Richard ignored her and went to his room. He tried concentrating on working with his laptop, but Kristin’s words kept disturbing him.
He didn’t know why he was bothered by her words, but he just couldn’t concentrate on working.
Richard sighed and dropped his laptop, he took his phone from the cabinet.
He turned on the TV in his room, and switched to the channel where the hamburgers were still being broadcasted.
He took a picture of the hamburger on the Tv, he sent the picture to a hamburger restaurant and called the restaurant.
“I just sent a picture of hamburger to you, prepare it exactly the way it is”
“But we can’t …”
“That’s what my wife wants to eat, prepare it the way my wife wants it, or you’ll be dead” Richard cut him short, dominantly.

Kristin nervously clipped her hands together as she watched Luke help Richard lay on the bed.
Richard was still unconscious, and Luke happened to call Richard at the right time, when Kristin needed help. She quickly answered the phone and informed Luke about what had happened to Richard.
He came with the speed of light cuz he cares about Richard… a lot.
“Would he be okay?” Kristin asked.
“Yes he would, if he’d be able to sleep” Luke mumbled. Working with Richard for five years now, he knows about his insomnia.
“What do you mean?” Kristin asked.
“What happened to him?” Luke asked, trying to divert Kristin’s mind.
“I don’t know, he just got triggered when he step inside my room”
“What were you doing at that time?” Luke questioned.
Kristin took her lower lip inside her mouth before answering Luke’s question.
“I was dancing with a ball anklet on”
“Ball anklet?”
Kristin nodded, her eyes on Richard.
No doubts, she was worried about Richard after seeing him in that state earlier.
“Let’s have a word, Kristin”
Without objecting, Kristin left the room with Luke and they went to the living room.
“Where did you get the ball anklet?”
“It was a gift from the department store. When I opened the jewelry box, it contained an anklet, and I just played with it by dancing so I could hear its jangling sound”
“Listen Kristin, I know you don’t know a thing about Richard so it essential for you to make mistakes”
“What do you mean?” Kristin mumbled, unable to grab what Luke was saying.
“I won’t go into details, because I believe Richard should be the one telling you the full story, but don’t ever wear a ball anklet. A normal anklet is okay, but not an anklet that has balls around it, and utters a jangling sound”
“May I know why?”
“Richard gets terrified by it. Jangling sound scares him a lot. Let’s just said that is his phobia”
“Why is he traumatized by the jangling sounds?” Kristin asked with curiosity.
She wanted to know why Richard is traumatized by that particular sound, which she loves.
“Like I said, I can’t go into details, only Richard has the right to do that. I can trust you with his phobia, right?”
“Yes you can, Luke. I’m not a chatterbox and moreover I don’t know anyone here in Las Vegas except for you and Mr. Grouchy. Is there a way he can overcome his trauma?”
